2/Al-Baqarah-211: Sal banee isreaeela kam eatayneahum min eayatin bayyinah(bayyinatin), va man yubaddil ni’mataalleahi min baa’di mea ceaathu fa innaalleaha shadeedul ikeab(ikeabi).
Ask the Children of Israel how many clear Signs (proofs, miracles) We gave them. And whoever changes (alters) Allah’s Blessing after it has come to him, then surely Allah is Severe in punishment. (211)
2/Al-Baqarah-212: Zuyyina lillazeena kafarool haayeatud dunyea va yashaaroona minallazeena eamanoo, vallazeenattakaav favkaahum yavmal kıyeamah(kıyeamati), vaalleahu yarzuku man yasheau bi gaayrihiseab(hiseabin).
Beautified is the life of this world for those who disbelieve, and they mock at some of those who believe (due to their poverty). But those who have takwâ (piety) will be above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives means of subsistence to whom He wills without measure. (212)
2/Al-Baqarah-213: Keanan neasu ummatan veahıdatan fa baaasaalleahun nabiyyeena mubashshireena va munzireena, va anzala maaahumul kiteaba bil haakkı li yaahkuma baynan neasi fee meahtalafoo feehi, va meahtalafa feehi illeallazeena ootoohu min baa’di mea ceaathumul bayyineatu baagyan baynahum, fa hadealleahullazeena eamanoo li meahtalafoo feehi minal haakkı bi iznihee, vaalleahu yahdee man yasheau ilea sıreatın mustaakeem(mustaakeemin).
Mankind were once one nation (community). And Allah sent (brought to life) the Prophets as bearers of glad tidings and as warners. And with them He sent down the Book with truth to judge between the men in matters wherein they differed. And only those to whom (the Book) was given differed about it after the clear signs had come to them, revolting among themselves (through hatred, one to another). Then Allah by His Leave guided (delivered to Hidayet) those who believed (became âmenû) to the truth (Hidayet) of that wherein they differed to explain onto others. And Allah guides whom He wills to the Path (directed towards Allah). (213)
2/Al-Baqarah-214: Am haasibtum an tadhulool cannata va lammea ya’tikum masalullazeena haalav min kaablikum massathumul ba’seau vad daarreau va zulziloo haattea yakoolar rasoolu vallazeena eamanoo maaahu matea naasrulleah(naasrulleahi), a lea inna naasraalleahi kaareeb(kaareebun).
Or did you think that you would enter Paradise unless the state of those who have passed away before you has not come upon you? Distress and affliction befell them and they were shaken violently, so that the Messenger and those who believed (became âmenû) with him almost said: “When (will come) the Help of Allah”? Certainly, the Help of Allah is near, is it not? (214)
2/Al-Baqarah-215: Yas’aloonaka meazea yunfikoon(yunfikoona), kul mea anfaaktum min haayrin fa lil vealidayni val aakraabeena val yateamea val maseakeeni vabnis sabeel(sabeeli), va mea taf’aaloo min haayrin fa innaalleaha bihee aaleem(aaleemun).
They ask you what they should spend (in the Way of Allah)? Say: “Whatever you spend of good (in the Way of Allah) must be for the parents and the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the stranded, and whatever you do of good, truly, Allah knows it well”. (215)
