Surah At-Taghabun

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

Whatever is in the heavens and in the earth glorifies Allah. To Him belongs the Dominion, and to Him is due praise. And He has Power over all things (Omnipotent). (1)
64/At-Taghabun-2: Huvallazee haalaakaakum fa minkum keafiru va minkum moo'min(moo'minun), vaalleahu bimea taa’maloona baaseer(baaseerun).
He it is Who created you. Yet some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (2)
64/At-Taghabun-3: Haalaakaas sameaveati val aardaa bil haakkı va saavvarakum fa aahsana suvarakum va ilayhil maaseer(maaseeru).
He created the heavens and the earth with the truth. And He gave you a form. Then He made your forms the best of the best. And to Him is the return (the Station to be reached is He, His Person). (3)
64/At-Taghabun-4: Yaa’lamu mea fees sameaveati val aardı va yaa’lamu mea tusirroona va mea tu’linoon(tu’linoona), vaalleahu aaleemun bi zeatis sudoor(sudoori).
He knows what is in the heavens and the earth. And He knows what you hide and what you reveal. And Allah is All-Knower of what is in the hearts. (4)
64/At-Taghabun-5: A lam ya’tikum nabaoollazeena kafaroo min kaablu fa zeakoo va beala amrihim va lahum aazeabun aleem(aleemun).
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? Then they tasted the negative responsibility of their conduct, and for them there is a painful torment. (5)
64/At-Taghabun-6: Zealika bi annahu keanat ta'teehim rusuluhum bil bayyineati fa kealoo a basharun yahdoonanea fa kafaroo va tavallav vastaagnealleah(vastaagnealleahu), vaalleahu gaaniyyun haameed(haameedun).
This is because when their Messengers brought to them clear proofs, they said: “Shall a human being deliver us to Hidayet”? So they disbelieved and turned away. And Allah showed that He is ‘Mustagni’ (not in need of anything, even their belief). And Allah is Rich, Worthy of all praise. (6)
Those who disbelieve assumed that they shall never be raised (resurrected). Say: “No! By my Lord! You shall most certainly be raised (resurrected). Then you shall most certainly be informed of what you did”. And that is easy for Allah. (7)
64/At-Taghabun-8: Fa eamınoo billeahi va rasoolihee van noorillazee anzalnea, vaalleahu bimea taa’maloona haabeer(haabeerun).
Therefore believe in Allah, His Messenger and the Glorious Light which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (8)
64/At-Taghabun-9: Yavma yacmaukum li yavmil cam’i zealika yavmut tageabun(tageabuni), va man yoo’min billeahi va yaa’mal sealihaan yukaffir aanhu sayyieatihee va yudhılhu canneatin tacree min taahtihal anhearu healideena feehea abadea(abadan), zealikal favzul aazeem(aazeemu).
On the Day when He will gather you for the Day of Gathering, that is the Day of deception. And whoever believes in Allah and does improving deed (the soul’s cleansing), He covers his evil deeds. And puts him into Heavens under which the rivers flow, to abide therein forever. This is the Greatest Salvation. (9)
64/At-Taghabun-10: Vallazeena kafaroo va kazzaboo bi eayeatinea uleaika aasheabun neari healideena feehea va bi’sal maaseer(maaseeru).
Those who disbelieve and belie Our Verses; they are the inmates of the Fire, to abide therein (hell) forever. And how evil (it is) as a destination. (10)
64/At-Taghabun-11: Mea aseaba min museebatin illea bi iznilleah(bi iznilleahi), va man yu'min billeahi yahdi kaalbah(kaalbahu), vaalleahu bikulli shay'in aaleem(aaleemun).
No calamity befalls except by the Permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah, (Allah) reaches to his heart, and Allah is All-Knower of everything. (11)
64/At-Taghabun-12: Va ateeoolleaha va ateeoor rasool(rasoola), fa in tavallaytum fa innamea aalea rasoolinal baleagul mubeen(mubeenu).
And obey Allah and obey the Messenger. If you still turn away, then the responsibility upon Our Messenger is only the conveyance. (12)
64/At-Taghabun-13: AAlleahu lea ileaha illea huva, va aalealleahi fal yatavakkalil moo’minoon(moo’minoona).
Allah! There is no deity but He. And therefore let the believers put their trust in Allah. (13)
64/At-Taghabun-14: Yea ayhuhallazeena eamanoo inna min azveacikum va avleadikum aaduvvan lakum faahzaroohum, va in taa’foo va taasfahoo va taagfiroo fa innaalleaha gaafoorun raaheem(raaheemun).
O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Surely from among your wives and your children there are enemies to you. Therefore stay away from them. And if you pardon and overlook and forgive, then surely Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful. (14)
64/At-Taghabun-15: Innamea amvaalukum va avleadukum fitnah(fitnatun), vaalleahu indahoo acrun aazeem(aazeemun).
Yet, your wealth and children are only a mischief (trial), and Allah it is with Whom (in His Presence) is the Greatest Reward. (15)
64/At-Taghabun-16: Fattakoolleaha mastataa’tum vasmaoo va ateeoo va anfikoo haayran li anfusikum, va man yookaa shuhhaa nafsihee fa uleaika humul muflihoon(muflihoona).
So have piety towards Allah as much as you can (at a highest level you can). Hear and obey! And spend as it is better for you; and whoever may save himself from the greediness of his soul, then these it is that have reached Salvation. (16)
64/At-Taghabun-17: In tukridoolleaha kaardaan haasanan yudeaıfhu lakum va yaagfir lakum, vaalleahu shakoorun haaleem(haaleemun).
If you lend Allah a beautiful loan, He pays it back to you in multitudes and forgives you. And Allah is the Thanked One (and the One Who is Responsive to those who give thanks), the Most Gentle. (17)
64/At-Taghabun-18: EAlimul gaaybi vash shaheadatil aazeezul haakeem(haakeemu).
All-Knower of the Unseen and what is witnessed (the Seen). He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (18)
