Surah An-Nahl

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

16/An-Nahl-1: Atea amrulleahi fa lea tastaa’cilooh(tastaa’ciloohu), subheanahu va taealea aammea yushrikoon(yushrikoona).
Allah’s Commandment has come, so do not seek to hasten it (the realization of its content). Glory be to Him, and exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. (1)
16/An-Nahl-2: Yunazzilul maleaikata bir roohi min amrihee aalea man yasheau min ibeadihee an anziroo annahu lea ileaha illea ana fattakoon(fattakooni).
He sends down the angels with the spirit from His Command on whom He wills of His servants to warn mankind that there is no god but Me. Therefore have piety towards Me (render your spirits back to Me before death). (2)
16/An-Nahl-3: Haalaakaas sameaveati val aardaa bil haakk(haakkı), taealea eammea yushrikoon(yushrikoona).
He created the heavens and the earth with the truth. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. (3)
16/An-Nahl-4: Haalaakaal inseana min nutfatin fa izea huva haaseemun mubin(mubeenun).
He created man from a ‘Nutfah’. In spite of that, he is a clear adversary. (4)
And as for the cattle, He created them to. In them there is protection (from cold) and numerous benefits for you. And from them you eat. (5)
16/An-Nahl-6: Va lakum feehea camealun heena tureehoona va heena tasrahoon(tasrahoona).
And there is beauty in them for you when you bring them home in the evening, and when you bring them out to pasture in the morning. (6)
16/An-Nahl-7: Va taahmilu askealakum ilea baladin lam takoonoo bealıgeehi illea bi shıkkıl anfus(anfusi), inna raabbakum la raaoofun raaheem(raaheemun).
And they carry your loads to regions which you could not reach except with distress (with great trouble to yourselves). Most surely your Lord is Compassionate (the most Kind), Most Merciful (the one that sends the glorious light of Mercy). (7)
16/An-Nahl-8: Val haayla val bigeala val haameera li tarkaboohea va zeenah(zeenatan), va yaahluku mea lea taa’lamoon(taa’lamoona).
And He creates horses, mules and donkeys that you might ride upon them and as ornament; and He creates what you do not know. (8)
And unto Allah is the appointing of the Way (the ways originating from the dervish convents to Sıratı Mustakîm, in other words, the religious guides-Murshids). And there are some deviating from that. And if Allah had willed, He would have caused you all to have Hidayet (Guidance). (9)
16/An-Nahl-10: Huvallazee anzala minas sameai meaan lakum minhu shaareabun va minhu shacarun feehi tuseemoon(tuseemoona).
He it is who sends down water from the sky. From it is the drinks and from it is foliage on which you send your animals to pasture. (10)
16/An-Nahl-11: Yunbitu lakum bihiz zar’aa vaz zaytoona van naaheela val aa’neaba va min kullis samareat(samarati), inna fee zealika la eayatan li kaavmin yatafakkaroon(yatafakkaroona).
He causes to grow for you with it herbage, and the olives and the date-palms and the grapes, and of all the fruits. Most surely there is a Verse (proof) in this for a people who reflect. (11)
16/An-Nahl-12: Va sahhaaraa lakumul layla van naheara vash shamsa val kaamar(kaamara), van nucoomu musaahhaareatun bi amrih(amrihee), inna fee zealika la eayeatin li kaavmin yaa’kıloon(yaa’kıloona).
And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon, and the stars by His Command. Most surely there are Verses (proofs) in this for a people who use their intelligence. (12)
16/An-Nahl-13: Va mea zaraaa lakum feel aardı muhtalifan alveanuh(alveanuhu), inna fee zealika la eayatan li kaavmin yazzakkaroon(yazzakkaroona).
And whatever He created and multiplied for you on the earth are in varying colors. Most surely there is a Verse (proof) in this for a people who remember (deliberate). (13)
16/An-Nahl-14: Va huvallazee sahhaaral baahra li ta’kuloo minhu laahman taariyyan va tastaahricoo minhu hilyatan talbasoonahea, va taral fulka maveahiraa feehi va li tabtagoo min faadlihee va laaallakum tashkuroon(tashkuroona).
And He it is Who made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh tender meat from it. You bring forth from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships cleaving through it. And these are for you that you might seek of His Virtue and that you may be grateful. (14)
16/An-Nahl-15: Va alkea feel aardı raveasiya an tameeda bikum va anhearan va subulan laaallakum tahtadoon(tahtadoona).
And He cast great mountains in the earth lest it might shake with you (for you not to be shaken), and rivers and roads, that you may find your way (that you may reach Hidayet). (15)
16/An-Nahl-16: Va aaleameat(aaleamaatin), va bin nacmi hum yahtadoon(yahtadoona).
And by signs and the star (by the Imam of the Time) they find the way (they reach Hidayet). (16)
16/An-Nahl-17: A fa man yaahluku ka man lea yaahluk(yaahluku), a fa lea tazakkaroon(tazakkaroona).
Is He then Who creates like him who does not create? Will you not still deliberate? (17)
16/An-Nahl-18: Va in tauddoo ni’mataalleahi lea tuhsoohea, innaalleaha la gaafoorun raaheem(raaheemun).
And if you would count the Blessings of Allah, you would not be able to count it. Most surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. (18)
16/An-Nahl-19: Vaalleahu yaa’lamu mea tusirroona va mea tu’linoon(tu’linoona).
And Allah knows what you conceal (your most intimate secrets) and what you reveal. (19)
16/An-Nahl-20: Vallazeena yad’oona min doonilleahi lea yaahlukoona shay’an va hum yuhlakoon(yuhlakoona).
Those whom they call on besides Allah cannot create anything. They are created themselves. (20)
16/An-Nahl-21: Amveatun gaayru aahyea’(aahyeain), va mea yash’uroona ayyeana yub’aasoon(yub’aasoona).
They are dead, not alive. And they do not know when they will be raised up (resurrected). (21)
16/An-Nahl-22: Ileahukum ileahun veahid(veahidun), fallazeena lea yu’minoona bil eahiraati kuloobuhum munkiratun va hum mustakbiroon(mustakbiroona).
Your God is one God. The hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter (having the spirits reach Allah before death) are deniers and they are the arrogant ones. (22)
16/An-Nahl-23: Lea carama annaalleaha yaa’lamu mea yusirroona va mea yu’linoon(yu’linoona), innahu lea yuhıbbul mustakbireen(mustakbireena).
No doubt Allah knows what they conceal and what they manifest. Surely He does not love the arrogant. (23)
16/An-Nahl-24: Va izea keela lahum mea zea anzala raabbukum kealoo aseateerul avvaleen(avvaleena).
And when it is said to them: “What is it that your Lord has sent down?” they said: “Tales of the ancients.” (24)
16/An-Nahl-25: Liyaahmiloo avzearahum keamilatan yavmal kıyeamati va min avzearillazeena yudılloonahum bi gaayri ilm(ilmin), a lea seaa mea yaziroon(yaziroona).
That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they caused to remain in Misguidance without any knowledge. Now surely evil is what they bear, is it not? (25)
16/An-Nahl-26: Kaad makarallazeena min kaablihim fa ataalleahu bunyeanahum minal kaaveaıdi fa haarra aalayhimus saakfu min favkıhim va ateahumul aazeabu min haaysu lea yash’uroon(yash’uroona).
Those before them indeed plotted too. Allah demolished their buildings from the foundations. So the ceiling fell down on them from above and the torment came to them from where they did not perceive. (26)
16/An-Nahl-27: Summa yavmal kıyeamati yuhzeehim va yakoolu ayna shurakeaiyallazeena kuntum tusheakkoona feehim, kealallazeena ootul ilma innal hızyal yavma vas sooa aalal keafireen(keafireena).
Then, on the Day of Resurrection, (Allah) will degrade them and say: “Where are My (so-called) partners concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute?” Those who are given the knowledge said: “Surely the disgrace and the torment are upon the disbelievers today.” (27)
16/An-Nahl-28: Allazeena tatavaffeahumul maleaikatu zealimee anfusihim fa alkaavus salama mea kunnea naa’malu min soo’(sooin), balea innaalleaha aaleemun bimea kuntum taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
Those whom the angels cause to die while they were wronging their souls said in full submission: “We did nothing evil.” No! Truly, Allah is All-Knowing of your evil deeds. (28)
16/An-Nahl-29: Fadhuloo abveaba cahannama healideena feehea fa labi’sa masveal mutakabbireen(mutakabbireena).
Therefore enter the gates of Hell, to dwell in it forever. How evil is the dwelling-place of the arrogant (of those who put on airs). (29)
And it is said to those who have piety: “What is it that your Lord has sent down?” They said: “Goodness (the nicest things)”. For those who are the best of the best (for those who have submitted their free wills to Allah) there are goodness (nice things, rewards, positive degrees) in this world. And certainly the Home of the Hereafter is much better. And certainly most excellent is the Abode of the pious (the owners of piety, takwâ). (30)
16/An-Nahl-31: Canneatu aadnin yadhuloonahea tacree min taahtihal anhearu lahum feehea mea yasheaoon(yasheaoona), kazealika yaczeelleahul muttakeen(muttakeena).
They (the owners of piety) shall enter the Gardens of Eden that rivers flow under them. They shall have in them all that they wish. This is how Allah rewards (the best of the best) the pious (the owners of piety). (31)
16/An-Nahl-32: Allazeena tatavaffeahumul maleaikatu taayyibeena yakooloona saleamun aalaykumudhulool cannata bimea kuntum taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
The angels cause them die in a best (and clean) state saying: “Peace be upon you. Enter Heaven for what you used to do (the good deeds).” (32)
16/An-Nahl-33: Hal yaanzuroona illea an ta’tiyahumul maleaikatu av ya’tiya amru raabbik(raabbika), kazealika fa aalallazeena min kaablihim, va mea zaalamahumulleahu va leakin keanoo anfusahum yaazlimoon(yaazlimoona).
Do they only wait for the coming of the angels or the coming of the Command of your Lord? This is what those before them did too. And Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves (their own souls). (33)
16/An-Nahl-34: Fa aseabahum sayyieatu mea aamiloo va heakaa bihim mea keanoo bihee yastahzioon(yastahzioona).
So they were struck by their evil deeds. They used to mock at surrounded them. (34)
16/An-Nahl-35: Va kealallazeena ashrakoo lav sheaaalleahu mea aabadnea min doonihee min shay’in naahnu va lea eabeaunea va lea haarramnea min doonihi min shay’(shay’in), kazealika fa aalallazeena min kaablihim, fa hal aalar rusuli illal baleagul mubeen(mubeenu).
And those who associated others with Allah said: “If Allah had willed, we would not have become a servant to anything besides Allah nor our fathers (would become servants to anything but Allah). We would not have prohibited anything but (Command from) Him.” The ones before them did the same thing. Is then anything (incumbent) upon the Messengers except a plain conveying (of the Message)? (35)
16/An-Nahl-36: Va lakaad baaasnea fee kulli ummatin rasoolan ani’budoolleaha vactaniboot teagoot(teagoota), fa minhum man hadaalleahu va minhum man haakkaat aalayhid daalealatu, fa seeroo feel aardı faanzuroo kayfa keana eakıbatul mukazzibeen(mukazzibeena).
And certainly, We have raised (brought to life, charged with a duty) in every nation a Messenger. For them to become servants to Allah and avoid Tâgût (human and jinn Satans). So there were some of them whom Allah delivered to Hidayet (those who have wished to reach Allah upon the call of the Messenger) and of them were some upon whom Misguidance was justified (who did not wish). So travel in the land. Then see what the end of the deniers was. (36)
16/An-Nahl-37: In taahris aalea hudeahum fa innaalleaha lea yahdee man yudıllu va mea lahum min neasıreen(neasıreena).
Even if you strive for their Hidayet (Guidance), yet surely Allah does not guide him whom He leaves in Misguidance (unless he wishes to reach Allah before death) and they will have no helpers either. (37)
16/An-Nahl-38: Va aaksamoo billeahi cahda aymeanihim lea yab’aasulleahu man yamoot(yamootu), balea vaa’dan aalayhi haakkaan va leakinna aksaran neasi lea yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
And they did swear by Allah with the strongest of their oaths saying: “Allah will not raise up (bring to life again) him who dies.” No (that’s not the case)! This is a promise upon Him in truth. But most people do not know. (38)
16/An-Nahl-39: Li yubayyina lahumullazee yaahtalifoona feehi va li yaa’lamallazeena kafaroo annahum keanoo keazibeen(keazibeena).
(This is) so He will make clear to them that wherein they differed (about resurrection) and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were certainly liars. (39)
16/An-Nahl-40: Innamea kaavlunea li shay’in izea aradneahu an nakoola lahu kun fa yakoon(yakoonu).
Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be" and it is. (40)
16/An-Nahl-41: Vallazeena heacaroo filleahi min baa’di mea zulimoo li nubavvi annahum feed dunyea haasanah(haasanatan), va la acrul eahırati akbar(akbaru), lav keanoo yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
And as for those emigrated for (in the Way of) Allah after they were wronged, We shall surely give them a good Lodging in the world, and the reward of the Hereafter is certainly much greater, if they but knew! (41)

Those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess (because it is only Allah Who gives sustenance) whereas they are equal in respect of their sustenance. Do they then deny the Blessing of Allah knowingly? (71)

And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest (peace). And He made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light (to carry) on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair for furnishing and enjoyment for a time. (80)
16/An-Nahl-81: Vaalleahu caaala lakum mimmea haalaakaa zılealan va caaala lakum minal cibeali akneanan va caaala lakum sareabeela takeekumul haarraa va sareabeela takeekum ba’sakum, kazealika yutimmu ni’matahu aalaykum laaallakum tuslimoon(tuslimoona).
And Allah has made for you of what He has created shades. And He has given you in the mountains places of retreat (from the wind ,the rain), and He has given you garments (shirts) to preserve you from the heat and coats (armor) to preserve you from an impact. This is how He completes His Blessing upon you that haply you may submit. (81)
16/An-Nahl-82: Fa in tavallav fa innamea aalaykal baleagul mubeen(mubeenu).
But if they turn away, then your duty is only to convey clearly. (82)
16/An-Nahl-83: Yaa’rifoona ni’mataalleahi summa yunkiroonahea va aksaruhumul keafiroon(keafiroona).
They know the Blessing of Allah, yet they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers. (83)
16/An-Nahl-84: Va yavma nab’aasu min kulli ummatin shaheedan summa lea yu’zanu lillazeenakafaroo va lea hum yustaa’taboon(yustaa’taboona).
And that Day We send a witness out of every nation. Then no permission is given for those who disbelieve to get out of hell nor their asking for consent (from Allah) is not accepted from them. (84)
16/An-Nahl-85: Va izea raaallazeena zaalamool aazeaba fa lea yuhaaffafuaanhum va lea hum yunzaaroon(yunzaaroona).
And when those who did wrong (who are not allowed to get out of hell) see the torment, it shall not be lightened for them, nor shall they be looked at. (85)
16/An-Nahl-86: Va izea raaallazeena ashrakoo shurakeaahum kealoo raabbanea heauleai shurakeaunallazeena kunnea nad’oo min doonik(doonika), fa alkaav ilayhimul kaavla innakum la keaziboon(keaziboona).
And when those who associated (others with Allah) saw what they associated (idols), they said: “Our Lord! These are our partners on whom we called besides You”. But they will throw back their word at them saying: “Most surely you are liars”. (86)
16/An-Nahl-87: Va alkaav ilaalleahi yavma izinis salama va daalla aanhum mea keanoo yaftaroon(yaftaroona).
And they (idols) tendered their submission to Allah on the Day of Permission. And what they used to forge (idols, false deities) departed them. (87)
16/An-Nahl-88: Allazeena kafaroo va saaddoo aan sabeelilleahi zidneahum aazeaban favkaal aazeabi bimea keanoo yufsidoon(yufsidoona).
As for those who deny (disbelieve) and hinder from the Way of Allah, We added torment upon torment because of the mischief they caused. (88)
16/An-Nahl-89: Va yavma nab’aasu fee kulli ummatin shaheedan aalayhim min anfusihim va ci’neabika shaheedan aalea heaulea(heauleai), va nazzalnea aalaykal kiteaba tibyeanan likulli shay’in va hudan va raahmatan va bushrea lil muslimeen(muslimeena).
And on that Day, We commission in every nation a witness against them from amongst themselves and brought you as a witness upon them. And We have sent down to you the Book that is explaining clearly everything and delivering to Hidayet and being a Mercy for the Muslims (those who are submitted to Allah) as glad tidings. (89)
16/An-Nahl-90: Innaalleaha ya’muru bil aadli val ihseani va eeteai zeel kurbea va yanhea aanil faahsheai val munkari val baagy(baagyi), yaizukum laaallakum tazakkaroon(tazakkaroona).
Surely Allah enjoins being just and doing of good (“ihsan”, kindness) and giving to the kindred. And He forbids indecency and evil (what Allah prohibits) and exacerbate (oppression). He admonishes you that you may take heed. (90)
16/An-Nahl-91: Va avfoo bi aahdilleahi izea aahadtum va lea tankudool aymeana baa’da tavkeedihea va kaad caaaltumulleaha aalaykum kafeelea(kafeelan), innaalleaha yaa’lamu mea taf’aaloon(taf’aaloona).
And fulfill the covenant of Allah (in regards to submitting your spirit, physical body soul and free will to Allah) when you have covenanted. Do not break the oaths (do not fall into Misguidance after you have had your spirit reach Allah and you have purified your soul’s heart) after making them stronger (after having attained Hidayet and having purified your soul’s heart). And you had indeed made Allah a Surrogate for you (Allah had fulfilled His Word, His guarantee by delivering you to Hidayet through having your spirit reach Himself). Surely Allah knows what you do. (91)
16/An-Nahl-92: Va lea takoonoo kallatee nakaadaat gaazlahea min baa’di kuvvatin ankeasea(ankeasan), tattahızoona aymeanakum dahaalan baynakum an takoona ummatun hiya arbea min ummah(ummatin), innamea yablookumulleahu bih(bihee), va la yubayyinanna lakum yavmal kıyeamati mea kuntum feehi taahtalifoon(taahtalifoona).
And be not like the woman who unravels her yarn, disintegrating it into pieces after she has spun it strongly (be not like the person who has fallen into Misguidance after reaching Hidayet). You make your oaths to be means of deceit between you relying on the fact that one nation (regards to their vows, covenants and promises as non-existent) is more numerous than another nation (that fulfils them). Allah only tries you by this (fulfilling your oaths). And He will most certainly make clear (explain) to you on the Day of Resurrection that about which you differed (about reaching Hidayet and about having the spirit reach Allah before death). (92)
16/An-Nahl-93: Va lav sheaaalleahu la caaalakum ummatan veahidatan va leakin yudıllu man yasheau va yahdee man yashea’(yasheau), va la tus’alunna aammea kuntum taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
And if Allah had willed, He would have made you one nation. But He leaves in Misguidance whom He wills (as all people are in Misguidance from birth and Allah does not cause them to reach Himself if they do not wish to reach Him) and He causes to have Hidayet whom He wills (according to His Word, and guarantee). And most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did. (93)
16/An-Nahl-94: Va lea tattahızoo aymeanakum dahaalan baynakum fa tazilla kaadamun baa’da subootihea va tazookus sooa bimea saadadtum aan sabeelilleah(sabeelilleahi), va lakum aazeabun aazeem(aazeemun).
And do not make your oaths a means of deceit between you. If you do, a foot slips (you go back to misguidance) after being firmly planted (having Hidayet) and you may have to taste the evil (discomfort one will experience after getting off the path). There is a great torment for you due to turning your faces away from the Way of Allah. (94)
16/An-Nahl-95: Va lea tashtaroo bi aahdilleahi samanan kaaleelea(kaaleelan), innamea indaalleahi huva haayrun lakum in kuntum taa’lamoon(taa’lamoona).
And do not sell the covenant of Allah for a small price. Surely what is with Allah (the covenant) is better for you, if you only knew. (95)
16/An-Nahl-96: Mea ındakum yanfadu va mea ındaalleahi beak(beakın), va la nacziyannallazeena saabaroo acrahum bi aahsani mea keanoo yaa’maloon(yaa’maloona).
What is with you comes to an end. What is with Allah is enduring (endless). And We will most certainly give to those who are patient their reward for the better of what they did. (96)
16/An-Nahl-97: Man aamila sealihaan min zakarin av unsea va huva mu’minun fa la nuhyiyannahu haayeatan taayyibah(taayyibatan), va la nacziyannahum acrahum bi aahsani mea keanoo yaa’maloon(yaa’maloona).
Whoever does improving deed (cleanses and purifies the soul), whether male or female as a believer, We will most certainly make them live a good (clean, permissible) life. And We will most certainly give them their reward (wage) for the better of what they did. (97)
16/An-Nahl-98: Fa izea kaara’tal kur’eana fastaız billeahi minash shayteanir raaceem(raaceemi).
So when you recite the Qur’ân, seek refuge in Allah from Satan the stoned. (98)
16/An-Nahl-99: Innahu laysa lahu sulteanun aaleallazeena eamanoo va aalea raabbihim yatavakkaloon(yatavakkaloona).
Because he has no authority over those who believe (are âmenû, who whish to reach Allah before death) and put their trust in their Lord. (99)
16/An-Nahl-100: Innamea sulteanuhu aalallazeena yatavallavnahu vallazeena hum bihee müshrikoon(müshrikoona).
His authority is only over those who turn him and those who through him associate others with Allah (as they do not wish to reach Allah). (100)
16/An-Nahl-101: Va izea baddalnea eayatan makeana eayatin vaalleahu aa’lamu bimea yunazzilu kealoo innamea anta muftar(muftarin), bal aksaruhum lea yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
When We changed a Verse in place of another Verse, they said; “since Allah knows best what to send down, you are only a forger”. Nay! Most of them do not know. (101)
16/An-Nahl-102: Kul nazzalahu roohul kudusi min raabbika bil haakkı li yusabbitallazeena eamanoo va hudan va bushrea lil muslimeen(muslimeena).
Say: “The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) has brought it (the Qur’ân) down from your Lord with the truth, that it may make firm and strengthen those who believe (who are âmenû) and as Hidayet and glad tidings to those who are Muslims (submitted). (102)
16/An-Nahl-103: Va lakaad naa’lamu annahum yakooloona innamea yuaallimuhu bashar(basharun), liseanullazee yulhıdoona ilayhi aa’camiyyun va heazea liseanun aaraabiyyun mubeen(mubeenun).
And certainly We know that they say: “only a human being teaches him that (the Qur’ân).” The tongue of him to whom they allude is novice (not Arabic) and this (the Qur’ân) is a clear Arabic tongue. (103)
16/An-Nahl-104: Innallazeena lea yu’minoona bi eayeatilleahi lea yahdeehimulleahu va lahum aazeabun aleem(aleemun).
Those who do not believe in the Verses of Allah, surely Allah does not deliver them to Hidayet (He does not deliver their spirits to Himself) and for them there is a painful torment. (104)
16/An-Nahl-105: Innamea yaftareel kaziballazeena lea yu’minoona bi eayeatilleahi va uleaika humul keaziboon(keaziboona).
None forges a lie except those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah. And these, these are the liars. (105)
16/An-Nahl-106: Man kafara billeahi min baa’di eemeanihee illea man ukriha va kaalbuhu mutmaainnun bil eemeani va leakin man sharahaa bil kufri saadraan fa aalayhim gaadaabun minaalleah(minaalleahi), va lahum aazeabun aazeem(aazeemun).
Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief (after having attained Hidayet) except for one who is forced while his heart is satisfied with Faith; but those who open their breasts to disbelief (doubts the person of Irshad and goes back to Misguidance, due to their willing of Misguidance Allah opens their breasts to disbelief), upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment. (106)
16/An-Nahl-107: Zealika bi annahumustahabbool haayeatad dunyea aalal eahırati va annaalleaha lea yahdeel kaavmal keafireen(keafireena).
This is because they love this world’s life more than the Hereafter and because Allah does not deliver the disbelieving people to Hidayet. (107)
16/An-Nahl-108: Uleaikallazeena taabaaalleahu aalea kuloobihim va sam’ihim va absearihim, va uleaika humul geafiloon(geafiloona).
These are they on whose hearts, their faculties of hearing and seeing Allah has set a seal. And these, these are the heedless ones. (108)
16/An-Nahl-109: Lea carama annahum feel eahırati humul heasiroon(heasiroona).
No doubt that in the Hereafter they will be the losers. (109)
16/An-Nahl-110: Summa inna raabbaka lillazeena heacaroo min baa’di mea futinoo summa ceahadoo va saabaroo inna raabbaka min baa’dihea la gaafoorun raaheem(raaheemun).
Then surely your Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Glorious Light of Mercy) for those who emigrated after they had been persecuted and then they struggled hard and fought, and were patient. (110)
16/An-Nahl-111: Yavma ta’tee kullu nafsin tuceadilu aan nafsihea va tuvaffea kullu nafsin mea aamilat va hum lea yuzlamoon(yuzlamoona).
That day every soul comes. Everyone contends against their own soul (as they see their life film respecting to what degrees they have earned and what degrees they have lost) and every soul is paid in full for what it has done and they are not wronged (negative degrees are not written down for them unjustly). (111)
16/An-Nahl-112: Va daaraabaalleahu masalan kaaryatan keanat eaminatan mutmaainnatan ya’teehea rızkuhea raagaadan min kulli makeanin fa kafarat bi an’umilleahi fa azeakaahaalleahu libeasal cooi val haavfi bimea keanoo yaasnaaoon(yaasnaaoona).
And Allah set forth an example of a town that is safe (of fear) and well content. Its means of subsistence was coming in abundance from everywhere. But it (the people of the town) became ungrateful to the Blessings of Allah. Therefore Allah caused it to taste the garb of famine and fear because of what they did. (112)
16/An-Nahl-113: Va lakaad ceaahum rasoolun minhum fa kazzaboohu fa ahaazahumul aazeabu va hum zealimoon(zealimoona).
And certainly there came to them a Messenger of their own, but they denied him. So the torment overtook them. And they are the wrongdoers. (113)
16/An-Nahl-114: Fa kuloo mimmea raazaakaakumulleahu haalealan taayyiban vashkuroo ni’mataalleahi in kuntum iyyeahu taa’budoon(taa’budoona).
So eat of the lawful and good (and clean) things which Allah has provided for you, and give thanks for Allah’s Blessings, if it is He whom you became a servant to. (114)
16/An-Nahl-115: Innamea haarraama aalaykumul maytata vaddama va laahmal hınzeeri va mea uhılla li gaayrilleahi bihee, fa manıdturraa gaayraa beagın va lea eadin fa innaalleaha gaafoorun raaheem(raaheemun).
He has only forbidden you what is dead, blood, flesh of swine and animal which is slaughtered in the name of others than Allah. But if one is forced by necessity (to eat), without willful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One that sends the Glorious light of Mercy). (115)
16/An-Nahl-116: Va lea takooloo limea tasıfu alsinatukumul kaziba heazea haalealun va heazea haareamun li taftaroo aalealleahil kazib(kaziba), innallazeena yaftaroona aalealleahil kaziba lea yuflihoon(yuflihoona).
And do not utter a lie for what your tongues describe: “This is lawful and this is unlawful”, in order to forge a lie against Allah. Surely those who forge a lie against Allah do not attain Salvation. (116)
16/An-Nahl-117: Mateaun kaaleelun va lahum aazeabun aleem(aleemun).
A little enjoyment (in the world’s life) and for them there is a painful torment. (117)
16/An-Nahl-118: Va aalallazeena headoo haarramnea mea kaasaasnea aalayka min kaabl(kaablu), va mea zaalamneahum va leakin keanoo anfusahum yaazlimoon(yaazlimoona).
We prohibited what We have already related to you for the Jews. We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves. (118)
16/An-Nahl-119: Summa inna raabbaka lillazeena aamiloos sooa bi cahealatin summa teaboo min baa’di zealika va aaslaahoo inna raabbaka min baa’dihea la gaafoorun raaheem(raaheemun).
Then surely your Lord, with respect to those who do evil in ignorance and afterwards repent and improve (cleanse their souls), after that most surely is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One that sends the Glorious light of Mercy). (119)
16/An-Nahl-120: Inna ibreaheema keana ummatan keanitan lilleahi haaneefea(haaneefan) va lam yaku minal mushrikeen(mushrikeena).
Surely Abraham was an Ummah, obedient and turning to Allah as Hanîf and he was not of the associators. (120)
16/An-Nahl-121: Sheakiran li an’umih(an’umihee), ictabeahu va hudeahu ilea sıreatın mustakeem(mustakeemin).
He was Grateful for His Blessings. He chose him and delivered him to Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (121)
And We gave him good (positive degrees of which he deserved). In the Hereafter he was of the improved ones (Sâlihîn). (122)
16/An-Nahl-123: Summa avhaaynea ilayka anittabi’ millata ibreaheema haaneefea(haaneefan), va mea keana minal mushrikeen(mushrikeena).
Then We revealed to you: “To follow (depend on) the Religion of Abraham, as Hanîf [based on unity (vahdet), unification (tevhid) and submission]”. And he was not of the associators. (123)
16/An-Nahl-124: Innamea cuilas sabtu aalallazeenaahtalafoo feeh(feehee), va inna raabbaka la yaahkumu baynahum yavmal kıyeamati feemea keanoo feehi yaahtalifoon(yaahtalifoona).
The Sabbath (Saturday, the prohibition of fishing) was ordained only for those who differed about it. And most surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that about which they differed. (124)
16/An-Nahl-125: Ud’u ilea sabeeli raabbika bil hikmati val mav’ızaatil haasanati va ceadilhum billatee hiya aahsan(aahsanu), inna raabbaka huva aa’lamu bi man daalla aan sabeelihee va huva aa’lamu bil muhtadeen(muhtadeena).
Call to the Way of your Lord (to the Way that makes all to reach Allah, to Sıratı Mustakîm-the Path directed to Allah) with wisdom and good advice. Struggle with them in the best manner. Surely your Lord best knows those who go astray (those who fall into Misguidance) from His Way (His Sıratı Mustakîm-the Path directed to Allah) and He knows best those who reach Hidayet. (125)
16/An-Nahl-126: Va in eakaabtum fa eakıboo bi misli mea ookıbtum bih(bihee), va la in saabartum la huva haayrun lis seabireen(seabireena).
And if you punish, then punish with the like of that with which you were punished. But if you endure patiently, this (their patience) is indeed better for the patient ones. (126)
16/An-Nahl-127: Vaasbır va mea saabruka illea billeahi va lea taahzan aalayhim va lea taku fee daaykın mimmea yamkuroon(yamkuroona).
Be patient! Your patience is only with Allah (with Allah’s controlling you). Do not grieve for them, and be not distressed because of what they plot. (127)
16/An-Nahl-128: Innaalleaha maaallazeenattakaav vallazeena hum muhsinoon(muhsinoona).
Surely Allah is with those who have piety and those are the good-doers (Muhsinîn). (128)
