Surah Ya Sin

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

36/Ya Sin-1: Yea seen.
Ya, Sin. (1)
36/Ya Sin-2: Val kur’eanil haakeem(haakeemi).
By the wise Qur’an (full of Wisdom and Judgment). (2)
36/Ya Sin-3: Innaka laminal mursaleen(mursaleena).
Truly you are of the sent Messengers. (3)
36/Ya Sin-4: AAlea sıreatın mustakeem(mustakeemin).
(You are) on Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah). (4)
36/Ya Sin-5: Tanzeelal aazeezir raaheem(raaheemi).
Sent down by Allah Who is All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. (5)
36/Ya Sin-6: Li tunzira kaavman mea unzira eabeauhum fa hum geafiloon(geafiloona).
That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned. Because they are heedless. (6)
36/Ya Sin-7: Lakaad haakkaal kaavlu aalea aksarihim fa hum lea yu’minoon(yu’minoona).
Certainly the Word (of Allah) has proved true over most of them. They no longer believe (they do not wish to reach Allah while they are living). (7)
36/Ya Sin-8: Innea caaalnea fee aa’neakıhim aaglealan fa hiya ilal azkeani fa hum mukmahoon(mukmahoona).
Surely We have put on their necks chains that reach up to their chins. Therefore they are the ones whose heads are raised aloft. (8)
36/Ya Sin-9: Va caaalnea min bayni aydeehim saddan va min haalfihim saddan fa aagshayneahum fa hum lea yubsıroon(yubsıroona).
And We have covered them putting a barrier before and after them. They no longer see. (9)
36/Ya Sin-10: Va saveaun aalayhim a anzartahum am lam tunzirhum lea yu’minoon(yu’minoona).
And it is equal for them whether you warn them or warn them not. They do not become âmenû (they do not wish to reach Allah before death). (10)
36/Ya Sin-11: Innamea tunziru manittabaaaz zikra va haashiyar raahmeana bil gaayb(gaaybi), fa bashshirhu bi maagfiratin va acrin kareem(kareemin).
You warn only him who follows the Reminder (Dhikr) and is in reverence towards the Most Beneficent in the Unseen (without seeing Him). Give him glad tidings of forgiveness (conversion of evil deeds into rewards) and the greatest reward. (11)
36/Ya Sin-12: Innea naahnu nuhyil mavtea va naktubu mea kaaddamoo va easearahum va kulla shay’in aahsaayneahu fee imeamin mubeen(mubeenin).
Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have presented and their works and We have recorded everything in Imam-ı Mubin (the Clear Guide). (12)
36/Ya Sin-13: Vaadrıb lahum masalan aasheabal kaaryah(kaaryati), iz ceaa hal mursaloon(mursaloona).
And give them the example of the dwellers of the city. The Messengers had come to them. (13)
36/Ya Sin-14: Iz arsalnea ilayhimusnayni fa kazzaboohumea fa aazzaznea bi sealisin fa kealoo innea ilaykum mursaloon(mursaloona).
We had sent to them two (Messengers), but they belied (denied) them both. Then We reinforced (them) with a third (Messenger). Then they said: “Surely we are the sent Messengers to you”. (14)
36/Ya Sin-15: Kealoo mea antum illea basharun mislunea va mea anzalar raahmeanu min shay’in in antum illea takziboon(takziboona).
They said: “You are only human beings like us, and the Most Beneficent has not sent down anything, you only lie”. (15)
(The Messengers) said: “Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you as Messengers”. (16)
36/Ya Sin-17: Va mea aalaynea illal baleagul mubeen(mubeenu).
And there is no responsibility upon us but a plain conveyance (of the Message). (17)
They said: “Surely we endured bad luck from you. If you do not desist, we will certainly stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us”. (18)
36/Ya Sin-19: Kealoo teairikum maaakum, a in zukkirtum, bal antum kaavmun musrifoon(musrifoona).
They said: “Your bad luck is with you (your bad luck is from yourselves). (Do you endure bad luck) because you are reminded of the Dhikr (the truth)? Nay, you are an extravagant people (that crossed the line). (19)
36/Ya Sin-20: Va ceaa min aaksaal madeenati raaculun yas’ea keala yea kaavmittabiool mursaleen(mursaleena).
And from the farthest part of the city there came a man running. He said: “O my people, follow (depend on) the Messengers that are sent (to you)”. (20)
36/Ya Sin-21: Ittabioo man lea yas’alukum acran va hum muhtadoon(muhtadoona).
Follow (depend on) to (those) who do ask no wages (for their conveyance) and they are the (Mahdis) guides (those who have reached Hidayet and make others to reach Hidayet). (21)
36/Ya Sin-22: Va mea liya lea aa’budullazee faataaraanee va ilayhi turcaoon(turcaoona).
And why should I not become a servant to Whom created me; to Him you shall be brought back! (22)
36/Ya Sin-23: A attahızu min doonihee ealihatan in yuridnir raahmeanu bi durrin lea tugni aannee shafeaaatuhum shay’an va lea yunkızoon(yunkızooni).
Do I take besides Him gods? If the Most Beneficent intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me. (23)
If that was the case (if I worshipped idols), truly I certainly would be in plain Misguidance. (24)
36/Ya Sin-25: Innee eamantu bi raabbikum fasmaoon(fasmaooni).
Indeed I have believed in your Lord, so hear me. (25)
36/Ya Sin-26: Keelad hulil cannah(cannata), keala yea layta kaavmee yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
It was said (to him): “Enter heaven”! He said: “I wish my people had known”. (26)
36/Ya Sin-27: Bimea gaafara lee raabbee va caaalanee minal mukrameen(mukrameena).
Therefore (had they known) my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored ones! (27)
36/Ya Sin-28: Va mea anzalnea aalea kaavmihee min baa’dihee min cundin minas sameai va mea kunnea munzileen(munzileena).
And We did not send down upon his people after him an army from the heaven, nor did We ever command them to be sent. (28)
36/Ya Sin-29: In keanat illea saayhaatan veahıdatanfa izea hum heamidoon(heamidoona).
(Their punishment) was nothing but a single Saihah (a violent sound wave). Then they became the ones that turned off. (29)
36/Ya Sin-30: Yea haasratan aalal ıbead(ıbeadi), mea ya’teehim min rasoolin illea keanoo bihee yastahzioon(yastahzioona).
Shame on those servants! There never came a Messenger to them but they used to mock at him (they mocked them all). (30)
36/Ya Sin-31: A lam yarav kam ahlaknea kaablahum minal kurooni annahum ilayhim lea yarcioon(yarcioona).
Have they not seen how many of the generations We destroyed before them that they (those who had been destroyed) did not return to them? (31)
36/Ya Sin-32: Va in kullun lammea cameeun ladaynea muhdaaroon(muhdaaroona).
And when all will gather together they (too) will be made to be present in Our Presence. (32)
36/Ya Sin-33: Va eayatun lahumul aardul maytah(maytatu), aahyayneahea va aahracnea minhea haabban fa minhu ya’kuloon(ya’kuloona).
And the dead earth is a Sign (miracle) for them. We revived it and We brought forth from it grains so that they eat thereof. (33)
36/Ya Sin-34: Va caaalnea feehea canneatin min naaheelin va aa’neabin va faccarnea feehea minal uyoon(uyooni).
And We have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapevines and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein. (34)
36/Ya Sin-35: Li ya’kuloo min samarihee va mea eamilathu aydeehim, a fa lea yashkuroon(yashkuroona).
That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and what their hands made it. Will they not then be still grateful? (35)
36/Ya Sin-36: Subheanallazee haalaakaal azveaca kullahea mimmea tunbitulaardu va min anfusihim va mimmea lea yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
Glory be to Him Who created all the pairs of what the earth grows, and of their souls and of what they do not know. (36)
36/Ya Sin-37: Va eayatun lahumul layl(laylu), naslahu minhun naheara fa izea hum muzlimoon(muzlimoona).
And the night is a Sign for them. We strip it of the day, and behold, they are in the darkness. (37)
36/Ya Sin-38: Vash shamsu tacree li mustakaarrin lahea, zealika taakdeerul aazeezil aaleem(aaleemi).
And the sun runs on in its orbit made steady for it. That is the Ordinance of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. (38)
36/Ya Sin-39: Val kaamara kaaddarneahu maneazila haattea eadakal urcoonil kaadeem(kaadeemi).
And (as for) the moon, We have ordained for it stages till it returns (from the form of the full moon to the crescent moon) like the old dried curved date stalk. (39)
36/Ya Sin-40: Lash shamsu yanbagee lahea an tudrikal kaamara va lal laylu seabikun nahear(naheari), va kullun fee falakin yasbahoon(yasbahoona).
It is not for the sun to over-take the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day; and all float on in their orbit. (40)
36/Ya Sin-41: Va eayatun lahum annea haamalnea zurriyyatahum feel fulkil mashhoon(mashhooni).
And a Sign for them is that We bear their offspring in laden ships. (41)
36/Ya Sin-42: Va haalaaknea lahum min mislihee mea yarkaboon(yarkaboona).
And We have created for them of the similar (vessels) thereof, on which they ride. (42)
36/Ya Sin-43: Va in nasha’ nugrıkhum fa lea saareehaa lahum va lea hum yunkaazoon(yunkaazoona).
And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved. (43)
36/Ya Sin-44: Illea raahmatan minnea va mateaaan ilea heen(heenin).
Except a mercy from Us, and a provision till a determined time. (44)
36/Ya Sin-45: Va izea keela lahumuttakoo mea bayna aydeekum va mea haalfakum laaallakum turhaamoon(turhaamoona).
And it was said to them: “Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that you may be given mercy”. (45)
36/Ya Sin-46: Va mea ta’teehim min eayatin min eayeati raabbihim illea keanoo aanhea mu’rideen(mu’rideena).
Never comes a Verse of the Verses of their Lord to them but some did not turn away from it. (46)
36/Ya Sin-47: Va izea keela lahum anfikoo mimmea razaakaakumulleahu kealallazeena kafaroo lillazeena eamanoo a nut’imu man lav yasheaulleahu aat’aamah(aat’aamahu), in antum illea fee daalealin mubeen(mubeenin).
And when it is said to them; “Spend of that which Allah has provided you with”, those who disbelieve say to those who believe (who are âmenû); “Shall we feed him whom, if Allah willed, He would have fed? You are only in a plain Misguidance”. (47)
36/Ya Sin-48: Va yakooloona matea heazal vaa’du in kuntum seadikeen(seadikeena).
And they say, “When will this promise be if you are truthful”? (48)
36/Ya Sin-49: Mea yanzuroona illea saayhaatan veahıdatan ta’huzuhum va hum yaahıssımoon(yaahıssımoona).
They await but one Shout (a terrible sound wave) which will seize them while they argue with one another. (49)
36/Ya Sin-50: Fa lea yastateeoona taavsiyatan va lea ilea ahlihim yarcioon(yarcioona).
So they shall not be able to make a bequest, nor can they return to their families. (50)
36/Ya Sin-51: Va nufihaa fees soori fa izea hum minal acdeasi ilea raabbihim yansiloon(yansiloona).
And the Trumpet is blown. Then from their graves they come out quickly (fly, rise up) to their Lord. (51)
36/Ya Sin-52: Kealoo yea vaylanea man baaasanea min markaadinea, heazea mea vaaaadar raahmeanuva saadaakaal mursaloon(mursaloona).
They said: “Woe to us! Who has raised us from our graves? This is what the Most-Beneficent promised and the Messengers had told the truth”. (52)
36/Ya Sin-53: In keanat illea saayhaatan veahıdatan fa izea hum cameeun ladaynea muhdaaroon(muhdaaroona).
Only one Shout (a terrible sound-wave). Then they are all to be present in Our Presence. (53)
36/Ya Sin-54: Fal yavma lea tuzlamu nafsun shay’an va lea tuczavna illea mea kuntum taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
So this Day (no) one is wronged with (any) thing or are you punished with anything except that which you used to do. (54)
36/Ya Sin-55: Inna aasheabal cannatil yavma fee shugulin feakihoon(feakihoona).
Surely the dwellers of heaven, that Day, are in an affair quite delightful. (55)
36/Ya Sin-56: Hum va azveacuhum fee zılealin aalal areaiki muttakioon(muttakioona).
They and their wives are in pleasant shade, reclining on raised thrones. (56)
36/Ya Sin-57: Lahum feehea feakihatun va lahum mea yaddaoon(yaddaoona).
They have fruits therein and (every) thing they ask for. (57)
36/Ya Sin-58: Saleamun kaavlan min raabbin raaheem(raaheemin).
(There is) a Word: “Peace” from the Lord, the Most Merciful. (58)
36/Ya Sin-59: Vamteazool yavma ayyuhal mucrimoon(mucrimoona).
And O you sinners! Get apart, this Day. (59)
36/Ya Sin-60: A lam aa’haad ilaykum yea banee eadama an lea taa’budoosh shaytean(shayteana), innahu lakum aaduvvun mubeen(mubinun).
O Children of Adam, did I not take a Covenant from you, that you should not be servants to Satan? Surely he (Satan) is your obvious enemy. (60)
36/Ya Sin-61: Va ani’budoonee, heazea sıreatun mustakeem(mustakeemun).
And (did I not take a covenant) that you should become servants to Me? This is (to be on) Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed towards Allah). (61)
36/Ya Sin-62: Va lakaad adaalla minkum cibillan kaseerea(kaseeraan), a fa lam takoonoo taa’kıloon(taa’kıloona).
And certainly he (Satan) left in Misguidance a great multitude of you. Do you still not, then, use your minds? (62)

36/Ya Sin-65: Al yavma naahtimu aalea afveahihim va tukallimunea aydeehim va tashhadu arculuhum bimea keanoo yaksiboon(yaksiboona).
Today, We seal up their mouths. Their hands speak to Us and their feet bear witness of what they earned (committed). (65)
36/Ya Sin-66: Va lav nasheau la taamasnea aalea aa’yunihim fastabakoos sıreataa fa annea yubsıroon(yubsıroona).
And if We had willed, We would certainly wreck havoc (blind) their eyes, then they would run about on the way. After this, how should they see? (66)
36/Ya Sin-67: Va lav nasheau la masaahneahum aalea makeanatihim fa meastateaoo mudiyyan va lea yarcioon(yarcioona).

36/Ya Sin-69: Va mea aallamneahush shi’ra va mea yanbaagee lah(lahu), in huva illea zikrun va kur’eanun mubeen(mubeenun).
And We have not taught him (the Prophet) poetry, and this would not be suitable for him. This is nothing else than a Reminder (Dhikr) and plain Qur'ân (that is revealed to him). (69)
36/Ya Sin-70: Li yunzira man keana haayyan va yahıkkaal kaavlu aalal keafireen(keafireena).
(The descent of the Qur'ân) is to warn those who are alive and that the Word (of the Torment) may prove true against the disbelievers. (70)
36/Ya Sin-71: A va lam yarav annea haalaaknea lahum mimmea aamilat aydeenea an’eaman fa hum lahea mealikoon(mealikoona).
Have they not seen how We have created animals for them, out of what Our hands (power)? So they possess them (the cattle). (71)
36/Ya Sin-72: Va zallalneahea lahum fa minhea raakoobuhum va minhea ya’kuloon(ya’kuloona).
And We have subdued them (the animals) unto them, so some of them they have to ride upon, and some of them they eat. (72)
36/Ya Sin-73: Va lahum feehea maneafiu va mashearib(mashearibu), a fa lea yashkuroon(yashkuroona).
And therein they have (many) benefits and drinks (milk). Will they still not be grateful? (73)
36/Ya Sin-74: Vattahaazoo min doonilleahi ealihatan laaallahum yunsaaroon(yunsaaroona).
And they have taken gods besides Allah, hoping they may be helped. (74)
36/Ya Sin-75: Lea yastateeoona naasraahum va hum lahum cundun muhdaaroon(muhdaaroona).
They (those gods) cannot help them and they are a soldier made ready (to help) for them (those gods). (75)
36/Ya Sin-76: Fa lea yaahzunka kaavluhum, innea naa’lamu mea yusirroona va mea yu’linoon(yu’linoona).
Therefore let not their speech grieve you. Surely We know what they conceal and what they disclose. (76)
