Surah Hud

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

11/Hud-1: Alif leam rea kiteabun uhkimat eayeatuhu summa fussılat min ladun haakeemin haabeer(haabeerin).
Alif-Lâm-Râ. (This is) a Book, whose Verses are made decisive (strengthened) and then explained in detail, from One Who is All-Wise, All-Aware (with all things). (1)
11/Hud-2: Allea taa’budoo illealleah(illealleaha), innanee lakum minhu nazeerun va basheer(basheerun).
(This book) is for you not to be a servant to anything but Allah. Surely I am a Warner for you from Him and a bringer of glad tidings. (2)
11/Hud-3: Va anistaagfiroo raabbakum summa tooboo ilayhi yumatti’kum mateaaan haasanan ilea acalin musamman va yu’ti kulla zee faadlin faadlahu, va in tavallav fa innee aheafu aalaykum aazeaba yavmin kabeer(kabeerin).
(It is) for you to seek forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him in repentance; for Him to provide you with a goodly provision to an appointed term and bestow His (light of) Virtue on every one endowed with Virtue. And if you turn away, then surely I fear for you the torment of a Great Day. (3)
11/Hud-4: Ilealleahi marciukum, va huva aalea kulli shay'in kaadeer(kaadeerun).
To Allah is your return, and He has Power over all things. (4)
11/Hud-5: A lea innahum yasnoona sudooraahum li yastaahfoo minhu, a lea heena yastaagshoona siyeabahum yaa'lamu mea yusirroona va mea yu'linoon(yu'linoona), innahu aaleemun bi zeatis sudoor(sudoori).
Now surely they fold up their chests that they may hide from Him, do they not? Do not they use their garments as a covering? (Allah) knows what they conceal and what they make public. Surely He knows what is in the bosoms. (5)
11/Hud-6: Va mea min deabbatin feel aardı illea aalealleahi rızkuhea va yaa'lamu mustakaarraahea va mustavdaaahea, kullun fee kiteabin mubeen(mubeenin).
And there is no moving creature in the earth but on Allah is the sustenance of it, and He knows its place of dwelling and its depository. All is in Kitab-ı Mübîn (a Clear Book). (6)
11/Hud-7: Va huvallazee haalaakaas sameaveati val aardaa fee sittati ayyeamin va keana aarshuhu aaleal meai li yabluvakum ayyukum aahsanu aamalea(aamalan), va la in kulta innakum mab’oosoona min baa’dil mavti la yakoolannallazeena kafaroo in heazea illea sihrun mubeen(mubeenun).
And He it is Who has created the heavens and the earth in six Days (Periods) to see which of you is best in deed. And His Throne was on the water. If you were to tell them: “You shall indeed be raised up to life after death”, those who disbelieve would certainly say: “This is nothing but obvious magic”. (7)
11/Hud-8: Va la in aahhaarnea aanhumul aazeaba ilea ummatin maa'doodatin la yakoolunna mea yaahbisuhu, a lea yavma ya'teehim laysa maasroofan aanhum va heakaa bi him mea keanoo bihee yastahzioon(yastahzioona).
And if We delay the torment for them till a determined term, they are sure to say: “What prevents it”? On the day when it will come to them, it shall not be averted from them, shall it? They are enveloped by what they used to ridicule. (8)
And if We make man taste Mercy from Us, then take it off from him, most surely he is despairing, ungrateful. (9)
And if We make him taste a blessing after poverty has touched him, he is sure to say: “The evils are gone away from me”. Surely, he is exultant, boasting. (10)
11/Hud-11: Illeallazeena saabaroo va aamiloos sealiheat(sealiheati), ooleaika lahum maagfiraatun va acrun kabeer(kabeerun).
Except those who are patient and do improving deed (that cleanses the soul’s heart). For them will be forgiveness (the changing of the evil deeds into merits) and a Great Reward (a Great Wage). (11)
11/Hud-12: Fa laaallaka tearikun baa'daa mea yoohea ilayka va deaikun bihee saadruka an yakooloo lav lea unzila aalayhi kanzun av ceaa maaahu malak(malakun), innamea anta nazeer(nazeerun), vaalleahu aalea kulli shay'in vakeel(vakeelun).
Then, it may be that you will give up part of what is revealed to you and your heart will become straitened by it because they say: “Why has not a treasure been sent down upon him or an angel has come with him”? But you are only a Warner; and Allah is a Surrogate over all things. (12)
11/Hud-13: Am yakooloonaftareahu, kul fa'too bi aashri suvarin mislihee muftaraayeatin vad'oo manistataa'tum min doonilleahi in kuntum seadikeen(seadikeena).
Or, do they say: “He has forged it”? Say: “Then bring ten forged Sûrahs like it, and call upon whom you have power besides Allah, if you are truthful”. (13)
11/Hud-14: Fa illam yastaceeboo lakum faa'lamoo annamea unzila bi ilmilleahi va an lea ileaha huva, fa hal antum muslimoon(muslimoona).
If then they can not answer you, then know that it is sent down with the Knowledge of Allah and that there is no god but He. Have you then become a Muslim (entered into Islam)? (14)
11/Hud-15: Man keana yureedul haayeatad dunyea va zeenatahea nuvaffi ilayhim aa'mealahum feehea va hum feehea lea yubhaasoon(yubhaasoona).
Whoever desires the life of the world and its finery, We pay them in full their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived. (15)
11/Hud-16: Uleaikallazeena laysa lahum fil eahıraati illean near(nearu) va haabitaa mea saanaaoo feehea va beatılun mea keanoo yaa'maloon(yaa'maloona).
These are they for whom there is nothing but Fire in the Hereafter, and vain are the deeds they did therein (in life). And (all) that they do is fruitless. (16)
11/Hud-17: A fa man keana aalea bayyinatin min raabbihee va yatloohu sheahidun minhu va min kaablihee kiteabu moosea imeaman va raahmah(raahmatan), uleaika yu'minoona bihee, va man yakfur bihee minal aahzeabi fan nearu mav'ıduhu, fa lea taku fee miryatin minhu innahul haakku min raabbika va leakinna aksaraan neasi lea yu'minoon(yu'minoona).
Is he then who is upon a clear proof from his Lord, and a witness from Him recites it that before it (was) the Book of Moses, as an Imam (Guide) and a Mercy? That’s them who believe in it. And whoever of the parties disbelieves in it, and therefore their promised place will be the Fire (are upon a clear proof from his Lord?). So be not in doubt about it. Because it is the truth from your Lord. But most men do not believe. (17)
11/Hud-18: Va man aazlamu mimmaniftarea aalealleahi kazibea(kaziban), uleaika yu'raadoona aalea raabbihim va yakoolul ashheadu heauleaillazeena kazaboo aalea raabbihim, a lea lea'natulleahi aaleaz zealimeen(zealimeena).
And who is more unjust than he who forges a lie against Allah? Those will be presented before their Lord. And the witnesses shall say: “These are they who lied against their Lord. Is not the Curse of Allah on the wrong-doers (Zâlimûn)”? (18)
11/Hud-19: Allazeena yaasuddoona aan sabeelilleahi va yabgoonahea ivacea(ivacan), va hum bil eahıraati hum keafiroon(keafiroona).
They avert from the Way of Allah (as they hinder the person’s spirit leaving the physical body and getting on the Sıratı Mustakîm, by hindering the person from reaching a Murshid). And seek to make it (the spirit’s reaching Allah before death) crooked (they desire to keep it away from its real concept). They are the ones who deny Hereafter (the spirit’s reaching Allah before death). (19)
11/Hud-20: Uleaika lam yakoonoo mu'cizeena feel aardı va mea keana lahum min doonilleahi min avliyeaa, yudeaaafu lahumul aazeab(aazeabu), mea keanoo yastateeoonas sam’aa va mea keanoo yubsiroon(yubsiroona).
Such are not able to incapacitate (Allah) on earth nor did they have besides Allah any friends. The torment will be multiplied for them. They could not bear to hear (their faculties of hearing did not function) and they could not see (their faculties of seeing did not function). (20)
11/Hud-21: Uleaikallazeena haasiroo anfusahum va daalla aanhum mea keanoo yaftaroon(yaftaroona).
These are they who have caused their souls to fall into Loss, and what they forged is gone from them. (21)
11/Hud-22: Lea carama annahum feel eahıraati humul aahsaroon(aahsaroona).
Truly in the Hereafter they will undergo the greatest loss. (22)
11/Hud-23: Innallazeena eamanoo va aamiloos sealiheati va aahbatoo ilea raabbihim uleaika aasheabul cannati, hum feehea healidoon(healidoona).
Surely those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (that cleanse the souls’ hearts) and humble themselves before their Lord [those into the souls’ hearts of whom Ihbat (a divine computerized system that makes the understanding possible, agreeing and obedient to Allah) is placed], these are the owners of Heaven, in it they will abide forever. (23)
11/Hud-24: Masalul fareekaayni kal aa’mea val asaammi val baaseeri vas sameeı, hal yastaviyeani masalea(masalan) a fa lea tazakkaroon(tazakkaroona).
The likeness of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seeing (their faculties of seeing functions) and the hearing (their faculties of hearing functions). Are they equal when compared? Will you not then deliberate? (24)
11/Hud-25: Va lakaad arsalnea noohaan ilea kaavmihee innee lakum nazeerun mubeen(mubeenun).
And certainly We sent Noah to his people (and he said to them): “Surely I am a plain Warner for you”. (25)
11/Hud-26: An lea taa’budoo illealleaha, innee aheafu aalaykum aazeaba yavmin aleem(aleemin).
That you be servants to nothing but Allah. Surely I fear that a painful torment should be upon you. (26)
11/Hud-27: Fa kealal malaullazeena kafaroo min kaavmihee mea nareaka illea basharan mislanea va mea nareakattabaaaka illeallazeena hum areazilunea beadiyar ra’yi, va mea narea lakum aalaynea min faadlin bal nazunnukum keazibeen(keazibeena).
Then the elites of those who disbelieved from among his people said: “We do not consider you but a mortal like ourselves and we do not see any have followed (depended on) you but those who are the lowest (poorest, weakest, most helpless) of us. And we do not see in you any excellence over us; rather, we deem you liars”. (27)
11/Hud-28: Keala yea kaavmi a raaaytum in kuntu aalea bayyinatin min raabbee va eateanee raahmatan min indihee fa ummiyat aalaykum, a nulzimukumoohea va antum lahea kearihoon(kearihoona).
He said: “Is this your opinion? If I am upon a clear proof from my Lord and He has given me Mercy from Himself and it has been made obscure to you, shall we compel you to it while you are averse from it”? (28)
11/Hud-29: Va yea kaavmi lea as’alukum aalayhi mealea(mealan), in acriya illea aalealleahi va mea ana bi tearidillazeena eamanoo, innahum muleakoo raabbihim va leakinnee areakum kaavman tachaloon(tachaloona).
And O my people! I do not ask of you any wealth for it (what I convey). If any, then my reward (wage) is only on Allah. And I am not going to drive away those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death). Surely they shall reach their Lord. And but I consider you a people who are ignorant. (29)
11/Hud-30: Va yea kaavmi man yaansurunee minaalleahi in taaraadtuhum, a fa lea tazakkaroon(tazakkaroona).
O my people! Who will help me against Allah, if I drive them away? Will you not then deliberate? (30)
11/Hud-31: Va lea akoolu lakum indee haazeainulleahi va lea aa’lamul gaayba va lea akoolu innee malakun va lea akoolu lillazeena tazdaree aa’yunukum lan yu’tiyahumulleahu haayrea(haayraan), aalleahu aa’lamu bimea fee anfusihim, innee izan la minaz zealimeen(zealimeena).
And I do not say to you that with me are the Treasures of Allah, nor that I know the Unseen, nor do I say I am an angel. And I do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon (those who wish to reach Allah before death) that Allah will never give them any good. Allah knows best what is in their souls. For then (if I do not tell the truth) most surely I should be of the wrong-doers. (31)
11/Hud-32: Kealoo yea noohu kaad ceadaltanea fa aksarta cidealanea fa’tinea bi mea taidunea in kunta minas seadikeen(seadikeena).
They said: “O Noah! Indeed you have disputed with us and you have gone too far in the dispute with us, therefore bring to us what you threaten us with, if you are of the truthful ones”. (32)
11/Hud-33: Keala innamea ya’teekum bihilleahu in sheaa va mea antum bi mu’cizeen(mu’cizeena).
He said: “Allah only will bring it to you if He wills. And you will not be able to incapacitate (Allah)”. (33)
11/Hud-34: Va lea yanfaukum nushee in araadtu an ansaahaa lakum in keanaalleahu yureedu an yugviyakum, huva raabbukum va ilayhi turcaoon(turcaoona).
And my advice will not profit you, even if I wish to give you good counsel, if Allah has decided that you should go astray. He is your Lord and to Him shall you be returned. (34)
11/Hud-35: Am yakooloonaftareahu, kul iniftaraaytuhu fa aalayya icreamee va ana bareeun mimmea tucrimoon(tucrimoona).
Or do they say: “He has forged it”? Say: “If I have forged it, on me is my guilt. And I am clear of the crimes that you commit”. (35)
11/Hud-36: Va oohiya ilea noohın annahu lan yu’mina min kaavmika illea man kaad eamana fa lea tabtais bi mea keanoo yaf’aaloon(yaf’aaloona).
And it was revealed to Noah: “None of your people will believe except those who have already believed (who have become âmenû, who have wished to reach Allah before death). Do not be distressed because of what they do”. (36)
11/Hud-37: Vaasnaaıl fulka bi aa’yuninea va vaahyinea va lea tuheatıbnee feellazeena zaalamoo, innahum mugraakoon(mugraakoona).
Build the Ark under Our guidance and with Our Revelation! And do not plead with Me in respect of those who are unjust. Surely they are the ones who shall be drowned. (37)
11/Hud-38: Va yaasnaaul fulka va kullamea marraa aalayhi malaun min kaavmihi sahıroo minhu,, keala in tashaaroo minnea fa innea nashaaru minkum kamea tashaaroon(tashaaroona).
And as he was building the Ark, whenever the elites of his people passed by him, they mocked at him. He said: “If you mock at us, surely we too mock at you as you mock”. (38)
11/Hud-39: Fa savfa taa’lamoona man ya’teehi aazeabun yuhzeehi va yahıllu aalayhi aazeabun mukeem(mukeemun).
So shall you know who it is on whom will come a torment which will disgrace him. And on whom will a lasting torment come down. (39)
11/Hud-40: Haattea izea ceaa amrunea va fearaat tannooru kulneahmil feehea min kullin zavcaynisnayni va ahlaka illea man sabakaa aalayhil kaavlu va man eamana, va mea eamana maaahoo illea kaaleel(kaaleelun).
When Our Command came and the Tennur boiled. We said: “Carry in it two of all things, a pair (of male and female) and your family-except those against whom the Word has already gone forth and those who believe”. And none believed (became âmenû) with him except a few. (40)
Embark in it. In the Name of Allah is its sailing and its anchoring. Most surely my Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (41)
11/Hud-42: Va hiya tacree bihim fee mavcin kal cibeali va neadea noohunibnahu va keana fee maa'zilin yea bunayyarkab maaanea va lea takun maaal keafireen(keafireena).
So it (the ship) sailed with them amidst waves like mountains and Noah called out to his son, and he was aloof: “O my son! Embark with us and be not with the disbelievers”. (42)
11/Hud-43: Keala sa eavee ilea cabalin yaa'sımunee minal meai, keala lea easımal yavma min amrilleahi illea man raahim(raahima), va heala baynahumeal mavcu fa keana minal mugraakeen(mugraakeena).
(He) said: “I shall seek refuge in a mountain, which will protect me from the water”. Noah said: “There is no protector today from the Decree of Allah except those on whom He has mercy”. And a wave intervened between them, so he was of the drowned. (43)
11/Hud-44: Va keela yea aardublaee meaaki va yea sameau aakliee va geedaal meau va kudıyal amru vastavat aaleal coodiyyi va keela bu'dan lil kaavmiz zealimeen(zealimeena).
And it was said: “O earth! Swallow up your water, and O sky! Withhold (your rain)”. And the water was made to subside and the Decree of Allah was fulfilled. And (the Ark) rested on the Jûdî and it was said onto wrongdoers: “Away with the wrongdoing people”! (44)
11/Hud-45: Va neadea noohun raabbahu fa keala raabbi innabnee min ahlee va inna vaa'dakal haakku va anta aahkamul heakimeen(heakimeena).
And Noah called out to his Lord and then said: “My Lord! Surely my son is of my family and Your promise is surely true, and You are the Most Just of the judges”. (45)
11/Hud-46: Keala yea noohu innahu laysa min ahlika,, innahu aamalun gaayru saalih(saalihin), fa lea tas'alni mea laysa laka bihee ilm(ilmun), innee aızuka an takoona minal ceahileen(ceahileena).
(Allah) said: “O Noah! Surely, he is not of your family. Surely his work was other than righteous. Therefore do not ask of Me that of which you have no knowledge! Surely I admonish you lest you may be of the ignorant”. (46)
11/Hud-47: Keala raabbi innee aoozu bika an as'alaka mea laysa lee bihee ilm(ilmun), va illea taagfirlee va tarhaamnee akun minal heasireen(heasireena).
(Noah) said: “My Lord! I seek refuge with you from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless you forgive me and have Mercy on me, I will indeed be of the losers”. (47)
11/Hud-48: Keela yea noohuhbıt bi saleamin minnea va baraakeatin aalayka va aalea umamin mimman maeaka, va umamun sa numattiuhum summa yamassuhum minnea aazeabun aleem(aleemun).
It was said: “Noah! Disembark in security and blessings from Us! And (some) nations (that will spring), We will give them provisions. Then a painful torment will touch them from Us”. (48)
11/Hud-49: Tilka min anbeail gaaybi nooheehea ilayka,, mea kunta taa'lamuhea anta va lea kaavmuka min kaabli heazea, faasbır, innal eakıbata lil muttakeen(muttakeena).
These are of the narratives of the Unseen which We reveal to you. Neither you nor your people knew it before this. So be patient, surely, the (good) end is for the owners of piety (Al-Muttaqûn). (49)
11/Hud-50: Va ilea eadin aheahum hoodea(hoodan), keala yea kaavmi'budulleaha mea lakum min ileahin gaayruhu, in antum illea muftaroon(muftaroona).
And to Âd their brother Hûd said: “O my people! Be servants to Allah. You have no god other than He. You are nothing but forgers (of lies)”. (50)
11/Hud-51: Yea kaavmi lea as'alukum aalayhi acrea(acran), in acriya illea aaleallazee fataaraanee, a fa lea taa'kıloon(taa'kıloona).
O my people! I do not ask of you any wage (reward) for it. My wage if there is any is only with Him Who created me. Do you still not understand? (51)
11/Hud-52: Va yea kaavmistaagfiroo raabbakum summa tooboo ilayhi yursilis sameaa aalaykum midrearaan va yazidkum kuvvatan ilea kuvvatikum va lea tatavallav mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
And, O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Then turn to Him in repentance (repent before your religious guide and start doing His remembrance - Dhikir). He will send you (from the sky) abundant rain (Mercy), and add strength to your strength. And do not turn your faces away as criminals (guilty). (52)
11/Hud-53: Kealoo yea hoodu mea ci'tanea bi bayyinatin va mea naahnu bi tearikee ealihatinea aan kaavlika va mea naahnu laka bi mumineen(mumineena).
They said: “O Hûd! You have not brought to us any clear proof (miracle) and we are not going to desert our gods for your sayings, and we are not believers in you”. (53)
11/Hud-54: In nakoolu illea'tareaka baa'du ealihatinea bi sooin, keala innee ushhidulleaha vashhadoo annee bareeun mimmea tushrikoona(tushrikoona).
All that we say is that some of our gods have punished you terribly. (Hûd) said: “Surely I call Allah to witness. And you bear witness too, that I am surely clear of what you associate (with Allah)”! (54)
11/Hud-55: Min doonihee fa keedoonee cameeaan summa lea tunzırooni.
Besides Him, therefore scheme against me all together (with your so-called gods), then give me no respite. (55)
11/Hud-56: Innee tavakkaltu aalealleahi raabbee va raabbikum, mea min deabbatin illea huva eahızun bi neasıyatihea, inna raabbee aalea sıreatın mustakeem(mustakeemin).
Surely I put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. There is no moving creature but He holds it by its forelock. Surely my Lord is upon Sıratı Mustakîm (He controls Sıratı Mustakîm). (56)
11/Hud-57: Fa in tavallav fa kaad ablaagtukum mea ursiltu bihee ilaykum, va yastaahlifu raabbee kaavman gaayraakum, va lea tadurroonahu shay’ea(shay’an), inna raabbee aalea kulli shay'in haafeez(haafeezun).
So if you turn away (your faces), then indeed I have conveyed the Message (revelation, the book) with which I have been sent to you. And my Lord will bring another people to replace you. And you can not harm Him in the least. Surely, my Lord is the Preserver of all things. (57)
11/Hud-58: Va lammea ceaa amrunea naccaynea hoodan vallazeena eamanoo maaahu bi raahmatin minnea, va naccayneahum min aazeabin gaaleez(gaaleezin).
And when Our Commandment came, We delivered Hûd and those who believed (became âmenû, who wished to reach Allah before death) with him with a Mercy from Us. And We delivered them from a severe (harsh) torment. (58)
11/Hud-59: Va tilka eadun cahaadoo bi eayeati raabbihim va aasaav rusulahu vattabaoo amra kulli cabbearin aaneed(aaneedin).
The Âd people denied the Verses of their Lord knowingly and rebelled against His Messengers and followed the command of every obstinate tyrant. (59)
11/Hud-60: Va utbioo fee heazihid dunyea laa’natan va yavmal kıyeamati, a lea inna eadan kafaroo raabbahum, a lea bu'dan li eadin kaavmi hood(hoodin).
And they were pursued by a Curse in this world and on the Day of Resurrection. And people of Âd disbelieved in their Lord, did they not? The people of Hûd, Âd remained far away (from the Mercy of Allah), did they not? (60)
11/Hud-61: Va ilea samooda aheahum sealihea(sealihaan), keala yea kaavmi'budoolleaha mea lakum min ileahin gaayruhu, huva anshaakum minal aardı vastaa'maaraakum feehea fastaagfiroohu summa tooboo ilayhi, inna raabbee kaareebun muceeb(muceebun).
And to Thamûd people their brother Sâlih said: “O my people! Be servants to Allah. You have no god other than He. It is He Who created you from the earth and made you dwell in it. Therefore ask forgiveness of Him, then turn to Him (in repentance). Surely, my Lord is Near, Responsive (to prayers)”. (61)
11/Hud-62: Kealoo yea sealihu kaad kunta feenea marcuvvan kaabla heazea a tanheanea an naa'buda mea yaa'budu eabeaunea va innanea la fee shakkin mimmea tad'oonea ilayhi mureeb(mureebin).
They said: “O Sâlih! Surely you were one amongst us in whom great expectations were placed before this. Do you now forbid us from worshipping what our fathers worshipped? As to which you call us to, most surely we are decisively in hesitation about this suspicious thing”. (62)
11/Hud-63: Keala yea kaavmi a raaaytum in kuntu aalea bayyinatin min raabbee va eateanee minhu raahmatan fa man yaansurunee minaalleahi in aasaaytuhu fa mea tazeedoonanee gaayraa taahseer(taahseerin).
Sâlih said: “O my people! Is this your opinion (even) if I am upon a clear argument (proof) from my Lord and He has given (granted) to me Mercy from Himself? Who will then help me against Allah if I rebel against (disobey) Him? Therefore you do not add to me other than Loss”. (63)
11/Hud-64: Va yea kaavmi heazihee neakaatulleahi lakum eayatan fa zaroohea ta'kul fee aardılleahi va lea tamassoohea bi sooin fa ya'huzakum aazeabun kaareeb(kaareebun).
And O my people! This is a she-camel of Allah is a Sign (a miracle) for you. So let her go to feed on Allah’s earth. And do not touch her with evil, for then a near torment overtakes you. (64)
11/Hud-65: Fa aakaaroohea fa keala tamattaoo fee dearikum saleasata ayyeam(ayyeamin), zealika vaa'dun gaayru makzoob(makzoobin).
But they hamstrung her. Then (Sâlih) said: “Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three (more) days. That is a promise not to be belied”. (65)
11/Hud-66: Fa lammea ceaa amrunea naccaynea sealihaan vallazeena eamanoo maaahu bi raahmatin minnea va min hizyi yavmi izin, inna raabbaka huval kaaviyyul aazeez(aazeezu).
So when Our Commandment came, We delivered Sâlih and those who believed (who wished to reach Allah before death, who became âmenû) with him and also from the disgrace of that Day of Permission. Indeed, your Lord is the Most Powerful, the Most Exalted in Might. (66)
11/Hud-67: Va ahaazallazeena zaalamoos saayhaatu fa aasbaahoo fee diyearihim ceasimeen(ceasimeena).
And an awful sound wave overtook (destroyed) those who were unjust. So they remained kneeling down in their homes. (67)
11/Hud-68: Ka an lam yaagnav feehea, a lea inna samooda kafaroo raabbahum, a lea bu’dan li samood(samooda).
As if they had never dwelt (lived) there. Surely Thamoud disbelieved in their Lord, did they not? The people of Thamoud remained far away (from Allah), did not they? (68)
11/Hud-69: Va lakaad ceaat rusulunea ibreaheema bil bushrea kealoo saleamea(saleaman), keala saleamun fa mea labisa an ceaa bi iclin haaneez(haaneezin).
And certainly Our Messengers came to Abraham with glad tidings. They said: “Peace”. “Peace”, said he, and he made no delay in bringing a roasted calf. (69)
11/Hud-70: Fa lammea raaea aydiyahum lea tasilu ilayhi nakirahum va avcasa minhum heefatan, kealoo lea tahaaf innea ursilnea ilea kaavmi loot(lootin).
But when he saw that their hands were not extended towards it, he deemed them strange and conceived a fear of them. They said: “Do not fear, surely we are sent to the people of Lot (Lût)”. (70)
11/Hud-71: Vamraaatuhu keaimatun fa daahıkat fa bashsharneahea bi isheakaa va min vareai isheakaa yaa'koob(yaa'kooba).
And his wife who was standing up smiled. Then We gave her the glad tidings of Isaac (Ishâq), and after Isaac, of Jacob (Ya’kûb). (71)
(She) said: “Shall I bear a child when I am an extremely old woman? And this is my husband who is an extremely old man too. Most surely this is a surprising thing”. (72)
11/Hud-73: Kealoo a taa’cabeena min amrilleahi raahmatulleahi va baraakeatuhu aalaykum ahlal bayt(bayti), innahu haameedun maceed(maceedun).
(Angels) said: “Are you surprised at Allah’s Commandment? The Mercy of Allah and His abundance are on you, O people of the house. Surely He is All-Praiseworthy, All-Glorious”. (73)
11/Hud-74: Fa lammea zahaba aan ibreaheemar rav’u va ceaathul bushraa yuceadilunea fee kaavmi loot(lootın).
So when the fear had gone away from Abraham and the glad tidings had come to him, he began to plead with Us for Lot’s people. (74)
11/Hud-75: Inna ibreaheema la haaleemun avveahun muneeb(muneebun).
Most surely Abraham, without doubt, was a gentle, tender-hearted, turned to Allah. (75)
11/Hud-76: Yea ibreaheemu aa’rid aan heazea, innahu kaad ceaa amru raabbika va innahum eateehim aazeabun gaayru mardood(mardoodin).
O Abraham! Leave off this! Surely the Commandment has come. And surely there must come to them a torment that cannot be averted. (76)
11/Hud-77: Va lammea ceaat rasulunea lootaan seea bihim va deakaa bihim zar’aan va keala heazea yavmun aaseeb(aaseebun).
And when Our Messengers came to Lot (Lût) he was grieved for them, and felt himself straitened, panicked. And said: “This is a hard (distressful) day”. (77)
11/Hud-78: Va ceaahu kaavmuhu yuhraaoona ilayhi va min kaablu keanoo yaa’maloonas sayyieat(sayyieati), keala yea kaavmi heauleai baneatee hunna athaaru lakum, fattakulleaha va lea tuhzooni fee daayfee, a laysa minkum raaculun rasheed(rasheedun).
And his people came rushing towards him. Aforetime they used to do evil deeds. (He) said: “O my people! These are my daughters. They are cleaner for you. So have piety towards Allah (feel your responsibility towards Allah). And do not humiliate me in front of my guests. Is there not among you a man leading to Irshad (the Spiritual maturity)”? (78)
11/Hud-79: Kealoo lakaad aalimta mea lanea fee baneatika min haakk(haakkın), va innaka la taa’lamu mea nureed(nureedu).
(They) said: “Certainly you know that we have no right (desire) on your daughters. And most surely you know what we desire (ask for)”. (79)
11/Hud-80: Keala lav anna lee bikum kuvvatan av eavee ilea ruknin shadeed(shadeedin).
(Lot) said: “If only I had against you some power or could take refuge in a strong support”. (80)
11/Hud-81: Kealoo yaa lootu innea rusulu raabbika lan yaasiloo ilayka fa asri bi ahlika bi kıt'ın minal layli va lea yaltafit minkum ahaadun illeamraaataka, innahu museebuhea mea aseabahum, inna mav’ıdahumus subhu, a laysas subhu bi kaareeb(kaareebin).
(The Messengers) said: “O Lot! We are the Messengers of your Lord. They shall by no means reach you! So leave with your family in a part of the night except your wife. Let not any of you look back, for surely whatsoever befalls them shall befall her too. Surely their appointed time is the morning; is not the morning near”? (81)
11/Hud-82: Fa lammea ceaa amrunea caaalnea ealiyahea seafilahea va amtaarnea aalayhea hicearaatan min sicceelin mandood(mandoodin).
So when Our Commandment came, We turned (that city) upside down (We caused it to move up and down), rained on them stones of baked clay, in a well-arranged manner one after another. (82)
11/Hud-83: Musavvamatan inda raabbika, va mea hiya minaz zealimeena bi baaeed(baaeedin).
Marked from your Lord and it is not far off from the wrong-doers. (83)
11/Hud-84: Va ilea madyana aheahum shuaaybea(shuaayban), keala yea kaavmi’budulleaha mea lakum min ileahin gaayruhu , va lea tankusool mikyeala val meezeana innee areakum bi haayrin va innee aheafu aalaykum aazeaba yavmin muheet(muheetin).
And to the Madyan (Midian) people their brother Shu’aib said: “O my people! Be servants to Allah, you have no god other than He. Do not give short measure and weight. Surely I see you in prosperity and surely I fear for you the torment of an all-encompassing day”. (84)
11/Hud-85: Va yea kaavmi avfool mikyeala val meezeana bil kıstı va lea tabhaasoon neasa ashyeaahum va lea taa’sav feel aardı mufsideen(mufsideena).
And, O my People! Give full measure and weight in justice! Do not defraud the men their things (rights), and do not act corruptly in the land, making mischief. (85)
11/Hud-86: Baakıyyatulleahi haayrun lakum in kuntum mu’mineen(mu’mineena), va mea ana aalaykum bi haafeez(haafeezin).
The remainder of Allah (the profit that the commerce brings, the lawful profit) is better for you if you are believers. And I am not a guardian over you. (86)
11/Hud-87: Kealoo yea shuaaybu a saaleatuka ta’muruka an natruka mea yaa’budu eabeaunea av an naf’aala fee amvealinea mea nasheau , innaka la antal haaleemur rasheed(rasheedu).
They said: “O Shu’aib! Does your prayer command you that we should forsake what our fathers worshipped or that we should not do what we please with regard to our property? Truly, you are gentle, the mature one (the one who reached to the Spiritual maturity-Irshad)”. (87)
11/Hud-88: Keala yea kaavmi a raaaytum in kuntu aalea bayyinatin min raabbee va raazaakaanee minhu rızkaan haasanea(haasanan), va mea ureedu an uhealifakum ilea mea anheakum aanhu, in ureedu illeal ısleahaa meastataa’tu, va mea tavfeekee illea billeah(billeahi), aalayhi tavakkaltu va ilayhi uneeb(uneebu).
(Shu’aib) said: “Is this your opinion even if I am upon a clear proof from my Lord and He has given me a goodly sustenance from Himself? I do not intend to oppose you in that which I have forbidden you. I desire nothing but ameliorate so far as I am able. And my success can only come from Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I turned to”. (88)
11/Hud-89: Va yea kaavmi lea yacrimannakum shikeakee an yuseebakum mislu mea aseaba kaavma noohin av kaavma hoodin av kaavma sealih(sealihın), va mea kaavmu lootin minkum bi baaeed(baaeedin).
O my people! Let not your opposition to me cause you to be struck by a calamity that is similar to what struck the people of Noah or the people of Hud or the people of Salih! And the people of Lot (Lût) are not far off from you. (89)
11/Hud-90: Vastaagfiroo raabbakum summa tooboo ilayhi , inna raabbee raaheemun vadood(vadoodun).
And ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him in repentance (before the Messenger or the saint guide). Surely my Lord is Most Merciful (the One who sends the Light of Mercy), Most Loving. (90)
They said: “O Shu’aib! We did not understand much of what you said! And most surely we see you to be weak among us, and were it not for your supporters, we would surely stone you. And you are not mighty against us”. (91)
11/Hud-92: Keala yea kaavmi a raahtee aaazzu aalaykum minaalleahi, vattahaaztumoohu vareaakum zıhriyyea(zıhriyyan), inna raabbee bi mea taa’maloona muheet(muheetun).
O my people! Is then the group that supports me more esteemed by you than Allah? And you have forgotten (neglected) Him as a thing cast behind your back. Surely my Lord encompasses all that you do. (92)
11/Hud-93: Va yea kaavmi’maloo aalea makeanatikum innee eamilun, savfa taa’lamoona man ya’teehi aazeabun yuhzeehi va man huva keazib(keazibun), vartakiboo innee maaakum raakeeb(raakeebun).
O my people! Do whatever you may! Surely I am too. You are going to know to whom will come a punishment that will disgrace him and who is a liar. And watch, surely I too am watching with you. (93)
11/Hud-94: Va lammea ceaa amrunea naccaynea shuaayban vallazeena eamanoo maaahu bi raahmatin minnea va ahaazatillazeena zaalamoos saayhaatu fa aasbaahoo fee diyearihim ceasimeen(ceasimeena).
And when Our Commandment came, We delivered Shu’aib and those who believed (became âmenû) with him by a Mercy from Us. The rumbling (awful Cry, a terrific sound wave) overtook those who were wrong-doers. So they remained kneeling down in their land. (94)
11/Hud-95: Ka an lam yaagnav feehea, a lea bu’dan li madyana kamea baaıdat samood(samoodu).
It was as if no one had ever lived there! Were not the people of Madyan (Midian) taken away (from the Mercy of Allah) as the people of Thamûd (were taken away from the Mercy of Allah). (95)
And certainly We sent Moses with Our Verses and a clear Sultan. (96)
11/Hud-97: Ilea fir’aavna va maleaihee fattabaoo amra fir’aavn(fir’aavna), va mea amru fir’aavna bi rasheed(rasheedin).
To Pharaoh and his elites (We sent Moses - per previous verse), but they followed the command of Pharaoh. And the command of Pharaoh was not right-directing to Irshad (the immaterial maturity). (97)
11/Hud-98: Yaakdumu kaavmahu yavmal kıyeamati fa avradahumun near(neara), va bi’sal virdul mavrood(mavroodu).
(Pharaoh) will lead his people on the Day of Resurrection, and bring them to the Fire; and evil indeed is the place to which they are brought. (98)
11/Hud-99: Va utbioo fee heazihee laa’natan va yavmal kıyeamati, bi’sar rifdul marfood(marfoodu).
And they were pursued by a curse in there on the Day of Resurrection. Wretched is the gift which is given. (99)
11/Hud-100: Zealika min anbeail kurea nakussuhu aalayka minhea keaimun va haaseed(haaseedun).
That is some of the news of the towns which We relate to you. Of them, some are standing (have traces) and some are a harvest (has no trace). (100)
11/Hud-101: Va mea zaalamneahum va leakin zaalamoo anfusahum fa mea aagnat aanhum ealihatuhumullatee yad’oona min doonilleahi min shay’in lammea ceaa amru raabbika, va mea zeadoohum gaayraa tatbeeb(tatbeebin).
And We did not wrong them, and but they wronged themselves. So their gods whom they called upon besides Allah profited them nothing when the Command of your Lord came. And they added to them nothing but destruction. (101)
11/Hud-102: Va kazealika aahzu raabbika izea ahaazal kurea va hiya zealimatun, inna aahzahoo aleemun shadeed(shadeedun).
Such is the Seizure of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are doing wrong. Verily, His Seizure is painful, severe. (102)
11/Hud-103: Inna fee zealika la eayatan li man heafa aazeabal eahıraati, zealika yavmun macmooun lahun neasu va zealika yavmun mashhood(mashhoodun).
Surely in this is a Sign for those who fear the torment of the Hereafter. This is the Day on which the people shall be gathered together and this is the Day of witnessing. (103)
11/Hud-104: Va mea nuaahhıruhoo illea li acalin maa’dood(maa’doodin).
And We do not delay it (the Day) but for a term fixed. (104)
11/Hud-105: Yavma ya’ti lea takallamu nafsun illea bi iznihi ,fa minhum shaakıyyun va saaeed(saaeedun).
When that Day comes, no one can speak except by His leave. Then some of them are ‘Shâkî’ (unhappy) some of them are ‘Said’ (happy). (105)
11/Hud-106: Fa ammeallazeena shakoo fa feen neari lahum feehea zafeerun va shaheek(shaheekun).
So as to those who are Shâkî (unhappy), they shall be in the Fire. For them therein is difficult exhaling and inhaling (moaning loudly). (106)
11/Hud-107: Healideena feehea mea deamatis sameaveatu val aardu illea mea sheaa raabbuka, inna raabbaka fa'ealun limea yureed(yureedu).
They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth (of Hell) endure, except as your Lord wills (to annihilate Hell). Verily, your Lord is the Doer of whatsoever He wills. (107)
11/Hud-108: Va ammeallazeena suidoo fa feel cannati healideena feehea mea deamatis sameaveatu val aardu illea mea sheaa raabbuka, aateaan gaayraa maczooz(maczoozin).
But as to those who are happy, they shall be in Heaven abiding in it as long as the heavens and the earth (of Heaven) endure, except as your Lord wills (to annihilate Heaven). (108)
11/Hud-109: Fa lea taku fee miryatin mimmea yaa’budu heauleai, mea yaa’budoona illea kamea yaa’budu eabeauhum min kaablu, va innea la muvaffoohum naaseebahum gaayraa mankoos(mankoosin).
Therefore be not in doubt as to what they worship. They do not worship but as their fathers worshipped before. And most surely We pay their portion in full, undiminished. (109)
And certainly We gave the Book to Moses but it came under disagreement. If a Word had not gone forth from your Lord (that the Account will be on the Day of Judgment), the matter would surely have been judged between them. Surely they are in a disquieting doubt about it (the Quran). (110)
11/Hud-111: Va inna kullan lammea la yuvaffiyannahum raabbuka aa’mealahum, innahu bimea yaa’maloona haabeer(haabeerun).
And your Lord will most surely pay for all their deeds in full. Surely He is All-Aware of what they do (their deeds). (111)
11/Hud-112: Fastakim kamea umirta va man teaba maaaka va lea taatgaav, innahu bi mea taa’maloona baaseer(baaseerun).
Be then on the right direction as you are commanded, as also those who have turned in repentance having depended on you. And be not inordinate (exceed the limit). Surely He is All-Seeing of what you do. (112)
11/Hud-113: Va lea tarkanoo ileallazeena zaalamoo fa tamassakumun nearu va mea lakum min doonilleahi min avliyeaa summa lea tunsaaroon(tunsaaroona).
And do not incline to those who do wrong. Otherwise the Fire should touch you. You have no friend other than Allah. Later you shall not be helped. (113)
11/Hud-114: Va akımis saaleata taaraafayin naheari va zulafan minal layl(layli), innal haasaneati yuzhibnas sayyieat(sayyieati), zealika zikrea liz zeakireen(zeakireena).
Keep up the prayer in the two parts of the day and when the night approaches the day. Surely good deeds take away evil deeds. This is an admonition for those who remember (repeat the Name of Allah saying Allah, Allah one after another). (114)
11/Hud-115: Vaasbir fa innaalleaha lea yudeeu acral muhsineen(muhsineena).
And be patient; verily Allah does not waste the reward (wage) of the good-doers (Muhsinîn). (115)
11/Hud-116: Fa lav lea keana minal kurooni min kaablikum ooloo baakıyyatin yanhavna aanil faseadi fil aardı illea kaaleelan mimman ancaynea minhum, vattabaaallazeena zaalamoo mea utrifoo feehi va keanoo mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
But why were there not among the generations before you the owners of the Reminder [those who have forbidden Al-Munkar (all that Islam has forbidden) and enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (all that Islam has ordained during centuries)], who should have forbidden the making of mischief in the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from among them? But those who wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they became criminals (guilty). (116)
11/Hud-117: Va mea keana raabbuka li yuhlikal kurea bi zulmin va ahluhea muslihoon(muslihoona).
And your Lord would never destroy the towns wrongfully, while their people were improvers (of souls). (117)
And if your Lord had willed, He would certainly have made mankind a single nation. Yet they shall continue to differ. (118)
11/Hud-119: Illea man raahima raabbuka, va li zealika haalaakaahum, va tammat kalimatu raabbika la amlaanna cahannama minal cinnati van neasi acmaaeen(acmaaeena).
Except those on whom your Lord has mercy; (those to whom He has sent His Light of Mercy by manifesting Himself with the Name of Most Merciful and those who have not differed as they have wished to reach Allah before death) and for this did He create them (to differentiate them). The Word of your Lord is fulfilled: “Certainly I will fill Hell with the jinn and the men, all together”. (119)
11/Hud-120: Va kullan naakussu aalayka min anbeair rusuli mea nusabbitu bihee fueadaka va ceaaka fee heazihil haakku va mav’ızaatun va zikrea lil mumineen(mumineena).
And all that We relate to you are of the news of the Messengers. We strengthen your heart (the faculty of understanding what is beyond the physical world) with them. And in this (in these news) has come to you the truth and an admonition, and a reminder for the believers. (120)
11/Hud-121: Va kul lillazeena lea yu’minoonaa’maloo aalea makeanatikum, innea eamiloon(eamiloona).
And say to those who do not believe: “(Continue to) do whatever you have been doing. Surely we too are the doers”. (121)
11/Hud-122: Vantaazıroo, innea muntaazıroon(muntaazıroona).
And wait! Surely we are waiting too. (122)
11/Hud-123: Va lilleahi gaaybus sameaveati val aardı va ilayhi yurcaul amru kulluhu faa’budhu va tavakkal aalayhi, va mea raabbuka bi geafilin aammea taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
And Allah’s is the Unseen of the heavens and the earth and to Him return all affairs. So be a servant to Him and put your trust in Him. Your Lord is not unaware of what you do. (123)
