Surah An-Nazi'at

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

وَالنَّازِعَاتِ غَرْقًا ﴿١﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-1: Van neazieati gaarkea(gaarkaan).
By those who pull out with great violence by diving. (1)
وَالنَّاشِطَاتِ نَشْطًا ﴿٢﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-2: Van neashiteati nashtea(nashtaan).
By those who gently (without harming) take out. (2)
وَالسَّابِحَاتِ سَبْحًا ﴿٣﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-3: Vas seabiheati sabhea(sabhaan).
By those that keep on swimming (flowing). (3)
فَالسَّابِقَاتِ سَبْقًا ﴿٤﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-4: Fas seabikeati sabkea(sabkaan).
And also (by) those that get ahead by racing. (4)
فَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِ أَمْرًا ﴿٥﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-5: Fal mudabbireati amrea(amran).
And also (by) those that (fulfill the Order and) manage (govern the Affairs) with command. (5)
يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ الرَّاجِفَةُ ﴿٦﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-6: Yavma tarcufur reacifah(reacifatu).
On that Day on which the quaking one shall quake. (6)
تَتْبَعُهَا الرَّادِفَةُ ﴿٧﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-7: Tatbauhar readifah(readifatu).
The successor (the second quake) shall follow it (the first quake). (7)
قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ ﴿٨﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-8: Kuloobun yavmaizin veacifah(veacifatun).
Hearts on the Day of Permission shall palpitate (with fear and terror). (8)
أَبْصَارُهَا خَاشِعَةٌ ﴿٩﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-9: Absearuhea heashiaah(heashiaatun).
Their looks will be abased in fear. (9)
يَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِي الْحَافِرَةِ ﴿١٠﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-10: Yakooloona a innea la mardoodoona feel heafirah(heafirati).
They say: “Shall we indeed be restored (from our graves) to our first state”? (10)
أَئِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا نَّخِرَةً ﴿١١﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-11: A izea kunnea izeaman naahırah(naahıratan).
When we are rotten, scattered bones? (11)
قَالُوا تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ ﴿١٢﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-12: Kealoo tilka izan karratun heasirah(heasiratun).
They said: “That (return, resurrection) then is a return with loss”. (12)
فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ﴿١٣﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-13: Fa innamea hiya zacratun veahıdah(veahıdatun).
Yet it (return, resurrection) is only a single Cry. (13)
فَإِذَا هُم بِالسَّاهِرَةِ ﴿١٤﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-14: Fa izea hum bis seahirah(seahirati).
By then they are on the surface of the earth. (14)
هَلْ أتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَى ﴿١٥﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-15: Hal ateaka haadeesu moosea.
Has there come to you the story of Moses? (15)
إِذْ نَادَاهُ رَبُّهُ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ﴿١٦﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-16: Iz neadeahu raabbuhu bil veadil mukaaddasi tuvea(tuvan).
His Lord had called out to him in the sacred valley of Tûwâ. (16)
اذْهَبْ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ طَغَى ﴿١٧﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-17: Izhab ilea fir’aavna innahu taagea.
Go to Pharaoh, surely he has transgressed. (17)
فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَى أَن تَزَكَّى ﴿١٨﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-18: Fa kul hal laka ilea an tazakkea.
And tell him that: “Would you like to be cleansed (cleanse your soul’s heart)”? (18)
وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَى رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَى ﴿١٩﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-19: Va ahdiyaka ilea raabbika fa taahshea.
And say: “Let me deliver you to your Lord (to Hidayet)”. So that you be the owner of reverence. (19)
فَأَرَاهُ الْآيَةَ الْكُبْرَى ﴿٢٠﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-20: Fa areahul eayatal kubrea.
Then showed him a Mighty Miracle. (20)
فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَى ﴿٢١﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-21: Fa kazzaba va aasea.
But he (Pharaoh) belied and rebelled became a rebel. (21)
ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَى ﴿٢٢﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-22: Summa adbara yas’ea.
Then he turned his back in haste. (22)
فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَى ﴿٢٣﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-23: Fahaashara fa neadea.
He gathered (his people) and called out (to them). (23)
فَقَالَ أَنَا رَبُّكُمُ الْأَعْلَى ﴿٢٤﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-24: Fa keala ana raabbukumul aa’lea.
Then he (Pharaoh) said: “I am your Mighty Lord”. (24)
فَأَخَذَهُ اللَّهُ نَكَالَ الْآخِرَةِ وَالْأُولَى ﴿٢٥﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-25: Fa ahaazahulleahu nakealal eahırati val oolea.
So Allah seized and ruined him with the torment of life and the Hereafter. (25)
إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَى ﴿٢٦﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-26: Inna fee zealika la ıbratan li man yaahshea.
Most surely there is in this a lesson for whosoever is in awe. (26)
أَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ السَّمَاء بَنَاهَا ﴿٢٧﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-27: A antum ashaddu haalkaan amis samea’(sameau), baneahea.
In regards to creation, are you stronger or the sky he constructed upon you (is it harder to create you or the sky He created above you)? (27)
رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّاهَا ﴿٢٨﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-28: Rafaaa samkahea fa savveahea.
He raised its (sky’s) ceiling (increased the height of it). Then designed and organized it. (28)
وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَاهَا ﴿٢٩﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-29: Va aagtaasha laylahea va aahraca duheahea.
And He made dark its night and brought out its light. (29)
وَالْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ دَحَاهَا ﴿٣٠﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-30: Val aardaa baa’da zealika daheahea.
And the earth, He spread and furnished it after that. (30)
أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَاءهَا وَمَرْعَاهَا ﴿٣١﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-31: AAhraca minhea meaahea va mar’eahea.
He brought forth from it its water and its vegetation. (31)
وَالْجِبَالَ أَرْسَاهَا ﴿٣٢﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-32: Val cibeala arseahea.
And the mountains, He placed them firm into it (earth). (32)
مَتَاعًا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَامِكُمْ ﴿٣٣﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-33: Mateaaan lakum va li an eamikum.
To be a benefit for you and your animal. (33)
فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الطَّامَّةُ الْكُبْرَى ﴿٣٤﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-34: Fa izea ceaatit taammatul kubrea.
But when that great (intolerable) calamity (the Doomsday) comes. (34)
يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنسَانُ مَا سَعَى ﴿٣٥﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-35: Yavma yatazakkarul inseanu mea saea.
That Day the man thinks what he worked for (what he had done). (35)
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَى ﴿٣٦﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-36: Va burrizatil caaheemu li man yarea.
And the blazing Fire (hell) had been shown clearly to the one who shall see it. (36)
فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَى ﴿٣٧﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-37: Fa ammea man taagea.
But whoever has transgressed the bounds (exceeded the limits). (37)
وَآثَرَ الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا ﴿٣٨﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-38: Va easaral haayeatad dunyea.
And preferred the life of the world. (38)
فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى ﴿٣٩﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-39: Fa innal caaheema hiyal ma’vea.
Then surely the flaming Fire (hell) that is the Abode. (39)
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوَى ﴿٤٠﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-40: Va ammea man heafa maakeama raabbihee va nahannafsa aanil havea.
And but whomever feared the Post of his Lord and restrained his soul from its low desires (did not follow his low desires). (40)
فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى ﴿٤١﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-41: Fa innal cannata hiyal ma’vea.
Then surely heaven that is the Abode. (41)
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا ﴿٤٢﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-42: Yas’aloonaka aanis seaaati ayyeana murseahea.
They ask you about that Hour (Doomsday): “When will it come”? (42)
فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَاهَا ﴿٤٣﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-43: Feema anta min zikreahea.
What do you have (other than) from its mentioning? (You have no other knowledge than declaring it). (43)
إِلَى رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَاهَا ﴿٤٤﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-44: Ilea raabbika muntaheahea.
To your Lord is the end of it. (44)
إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَاهَا ﴿٤٥﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-45: Innamea anta munziru man yaahsheahea.
You are only a Warner to those who have reverence to Him, fear Him. (45)
كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا ﴿٤٦﴾
79/An-Nazi'at-46: Ka annahum yavma yaravnahea lam yalbasoo illea aashiyyatan av duheahea.
On that Day which they shall see it (the Doomsday) (it will be) they become as if they had remained only (as long as) the latter part of a day or the early part of it (midmorning). (46)
