Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

74/Al-Muddaththir-1: Yea ayyuhal muddassir(muddassiru).
O you who are enveloped (in garments)! (1)
74/Al-Muddaththir-3: Va raabbaka fa kabbir.
And (He is) your Lord, therefore magnify (Him). (3)
74/Al-Muddaththir-4: Va siyeabaka fa taahhir.
And keep (it) your garments clean. (4)
74/Al-Muddaththir-5: Varrucza fahcur.
And keep away from (all that will cause) torment. (5)
74/Al-Muddaththir-6: Va lea tamnun tastaksir(tastaksiru).
And do not bestow favors in order to have more (in return). (6)
74/Al-Muddaththir-7: Va li raabbika faasbir.
And be patient for your Lord. (7)
74/Al-Muddaththir-9: Fa zealika yavma izin yavmun aasee(aaseerun).
Surely that Day of Permission is a ‘Difficult Day’. (9)
74/Al-Muddaththir-10: AAlal keafireena gaayru yaseer(yaseerin).
It is far from easy for the disbelievers. (10)
74/Al-Muddaththir-11: Zarnee va man haalaaktu vaaheedea(vaaheedan).
Leave Me the person whom I created alone. (11)
74/Al-Muddaththir-12: Va ca’aaltu lahu mealan mamdoodea(mamdoodan).
And granted him commodities, multiplying constantly. (12)
74/Al-Muddaththir-13: Va baneena shuhoodea(shuhoodan).
And (gave him) sons always being by his side. (13)
74/Al-Muddaththir-14: Va mahhadtu lahu tamheedea(tamheedan).
And giving him (blessings) in abundance provided him with vast opportunities. (14)
74/Al-Muddaththir-15: Summa yaatmaau an azeed(azeeda).
Then he asks that I should add (more). (15)
74/Al-Muddaththir-16: Kallea, innahu keana li eayeatinea aaneedea(aaneedan).
No, never. Surely he became obstinate about (denying) our Verses. (16)
74/Al-Muddaththir-17: Sa urhikuhu saaoodea(saaoodan).
Soon I shall oblige him to a (mountain of fire) steep upward slope. (17)
74/Al-Muddaththir-18: Innahu fakkara va kaaddar(kaaddara).
Surely he pondered (thought about the Qur’an) and decided. (18)
74/Al-Muddaththir-19: Fa kutila kayfa kaaddar(kaaddara).
Now he is ruined (ruined himself by being expelled from Allah’s Mercy) how he decided. (19)
74/Al-Muddaththir-20: Summa kutila kayfa kaaddar(kaaddara).
Then he is ruined (ruined himself by being repelled from Allah’s Mercy) how he decided. (20)
74/Al-Muddaththir-22: Summa aabasa va basar(basara).
Then he frowned and scowled. (22)
74/Al-Muddaththir-23: Summa adbara vastakbar(vastakbara).
Then he turned his back, and turned arrogant. (23)
74/Al-Muddaththir-24: Fa keala in heazea illea sihrun yu’sar(yu’saru).
Finally he said: “This can be nothing but magic that is inherited”. (24)
74/Al-Muddaththir-25: In heazea illea kaavlul bashar(bashari).
This is nothing but the word of a human being. (25)
74/Al-Muddaththir-26: Sa usleehi sakaar(sakaara).
Soon I shall make him lean against (cast him into) Saqar (a blazing Fire). (26)
74/Al-Muddaththir-27: Va mea adreaka mea sakaar(sakaaru).
And what is it that makes you realize what Saqar (an Intense Fire) is? (27)
74/Al-Muddaththir-28: Lea tubkee va lea tazar(tazaru).
It leaves nothing back (no residue of his burnt flesh) and does not abandon (him to death) (their torment continues). (28)
74/Al-Muddaththir-29: Lavveahaatun lil bashar(bashari).
(Saqar) is scorching for the mankind (their flesh). (29)
74/Al-Muddaththir-31: Va mea caaalnea aasheaban neari illea maleaikatan va mea caaalnea ıddatahum illea fitnatan lillazeena kafaroo li yastaykınallazeena ootool kiteaba va yazdeadallazeena eamanoo eemeanan va lea yarteaballazeena ootool kiteaba val mu’minoona, va li yakoolallazeena fee kuloobihim maaraadun val keafiroona meazea areadaalleahu bi heazea masalea(masalan), kazealika yudıllulleahu man yasheau va yahdee man yashea(yasheau), va mea yaa’lamu cunooda raabbika illea hoo(huva), va mea hiya illea zikrea lil bashar(bashari).
And We have not made the people (wardens) of the Fire but angels. And We have not made their number but as a mischief for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the Book may be the owners of certainty and those who believe (who are âmenû) may increase in Faith. And those who have been given the Book and the believers may not fall into suspicion. And that those in whose hearts is a disease (suspicion) and the disbelievers may say: “What does Allah mean by this matter (what is Allah trying to say)”? This is how Allah leaves in Misguidance whom He wills and delivers to Hidayet whom He wills. And none knows the armies of your Lord but He Himself. And that is nothing else than Dhikr (Remembrance) for the mankind. (31)
74/Al-Muddaththir-33: Val layli iz adbar(adbara).
By the night when it withdraws. (33)

By dawn when it starts shining. (34)
74/Al-Muddaththir-35: Innahea la ıhdal kubar(kubari).
Surely it (hell) is one of the greatest (calamities). (35)
74/Al-Muddaththir-36: Nazeeran lil bashar(bashari).
As a warning to the mankind. (36)
74/Al-Muddaththir-37: Li man sheaa minkum an yatakaaddama av yataaahhaar(yataaahhaara).
To those among you who wish to go ahead or remain behind. (37)
74/Al-Muddaththir-38: Kullu nafsin bimea kasabat raheenah(raheenatun).
All souls are held in pledge for what they have earned. (38)
74/Al-Muddaththir-39: Illea aasheabal yameen(yameeni).
Except the owners of the oath (those who have fulfilled their oaths). (39)
74/Al-Muddaththir-40: Fee canneat(canneatin), yataseaaloon(yataseaaloona).
They are in heavens. They ask (the others). (40)
74/Al-Muddaththir-41: AAnil mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
Amongst the sinners (the guilty). (41)
74/Al-Muddaththir-42: Mea salakakum fee sakaar(sakaara).
What has brought you into Saqar (Intense Fire)? (42)

74/Al-Muddaththir-43: Kealoo lam naku minal musaalleen(musaalleena).
They said: “We did not become of those who used to offer the Salât (prayers)”. (43)
74/Al-Muddaththir-45: Va kunnea nahoodu maaaal heaideen(heaideena).
And we were plunging into vain things with those who were plunging into vain things. (45)

74/Al-Muddaththir-47: Haattea ateanal yaakeen(yaakinu).
Till what is certain (the moment of death) came to us. (47)
74/Al-Muddaththir-48: Fa mea tanfauhum shafeaaatush sheafieen(sheafieena).
So the intercession of the intercessors shall not avail them. (48)
74/Al-Muddaththir-49: Fa mea lahum aanit tazkirati mu’rıdeen(mu’rıdeena).
Even though this is the case, how come they became the ones who turned away from Dhikr (the remembrance)? (49)
74/Al-Muddaththir-50: Ka annahum humurun mustanfirath(mustanfiratun).
As if they are wild donkeys taking fright. (50)
74/Al-Muddaththir-51: Farrat min kaasvarah(kaasvaratin).
Fleeing from a lion (in fear). (51)

74/Al-Muddaththir-56: Va mea yazkuroona illea an yasheaaalleah(yasheaaalleahu), huva ahlut taakvea va ahlul maagfirah(maagfirati).
And none can deliberate (remember) buy whom Allah wills. He (whom He wills) is the owner of piety and the owner of forgiveness (the one whose evil deeds are converted into merits). (56)
