Surah Al-Hashr

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

59/Al-Hashr-1: Sabbahaa lilleahi mea fees sameaveati va mea feel aard(aardı), va huval aazeezul haakeem(haakeemu).
Whatsoever is in the heavens and in the earth glorified (still glorifies) Allah. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (1)
59/Al-Hashr-2: Huvallazee aahracallazeena kafaroo min ahlil kiteabi min diyearihim li avvalil haashr(haashri), mea zaanantum an yaahrucoo va zaannoo annahum meaniaatuhum husoonuhum minaalleahi fa ateahumulleahu min haaysu lam yaahtasiboo va kaazafa fee kuloobihimur ru’ba yuhriboona buyootahum bi aydeehim va aydeel moo’mineena faa’taabiroo yea uleel absear(abseari).
He it is Who caused those who disbelieved of the People of the Book to go forth from their lands to exile. You did not think that they would go forth (from their lands). And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from (what would come from) Allah. Yet Allah came to them from a side they did not expect, and cast terror into their hearts. They demolish (were demolishing) their houses with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Therefore take a lesson, O you the owners of insight! (2)
And had it not been that Allah had written for (all of) them the exile, He would certainly have tormented them in this world, and there is also torment of the Fire for them in the Hereafter. (3)
59/Al-Hashr-4: Zealika bi annahum shea aakkoolleaha va rasoolah(rasoolahu), va man yushea aakkılleaha fa innaalleaha shadeedul ikeab(ikeabi).
This is because they oppose Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah, then surely Allah is the One Who is Severe in punishment. (4)
59/Al-Hashr-5: Mea kaataa’tum min leenatin av taraktumoohea keaimatan aalea usoolihea fa bi iznilleahi va li yuhziyal feasikeen(feasikeena).
What you cut down of the palm-trees or you left them standing upon their roots is also only by Allah’s Leave, and this is for the abasement of Fâsiqûn (the transgressors). (5)
59/Al-Hashr-6: Va mea afea aalleahu aalea rasoolihee minhum fa mea avcaftum aalayhi min haaylin va lea rikeabin va leakinnaalleaha yusaallitu rusulahu aalea man yasheau, vaalleahu aalea kulli shay’in kaadeer(kaadeerun).
And you made no expedition with either cavalry or camels (you did not fight) for which Allah gave as booty without any battle to His Messenger from those (from their property). But Allah assigns His Messengers against whom He wills, and Allah has Power over all things. (6)
59/Al-Hashr-7: Mea afea aalleahu aalea rasoolihee min ahlil kurea fa lilleahi va lir rasooli va lizeel kurbea val yateamea val maseakeeni vabnis sabeeli kay lea yakoona doolatan baynal aagniyeai minkum, va mea eateakumur rasoolu fa huzoohu va mea naheakum aanhu fantahoo, vattakoolleah(vattakoolleaha), innaalleaha shadeedul ikeab(ikeabi).
What Allah gave as booty without any battle to His Messenger from the people of that town is now for Allah, His Prophet, his kindred, the orphans, the needy and the wayfarer. (This is) so that it shall not be a commodity (wealth) going from one hand to another amongst the rich of you. And whatever the Messenger gave you, then take it. And from whatever he forbids you, abstain from it. Be the owner of piety towards Allah. Surely Allah is the One Who is Severe in torment. (7)
59/Al-Hashr-8: Lil fukaareail muheacireenallazeena uhricoo min diyearihim va amvealihim yabtagoona faadlan minaalleahi va rıdveanan va yansuroonaalleaha va rasoolah(rasoolahu), uleaika humus seadikoon(seadikoona).
(The booty obtained without any battle) is for the poor emigrants, who were expelled from their lands and deserted from their property. They seek the Virtue and Pleasure of Allah and assist Allah and His Messenger. These it is that are the loyal. (8)
59/Al-Hashr-9: Vallazeena tabavvaood deara val eemeana min kaablihim yuhıbboona man heacara ilayhim va lea yacidoona fee sudoorihim heacatan mimmea ootoo va yoo’siroona aalea anfusihim va lav keana bihim haaseasaah(haaseasaatun), va man yookaa shuhhaa nafsihee fa uleaika humul muflihoon(muflihoona).
And those who dwelled in the land (in Al-Madîna) before them and in the hearts of whom the Faith has settled love those who have emigrated to them. And they have no wish (grief, malice) in their hearts due to what they are given (their share of booty), even if they are in need of them. And they prefer (put) them over their souls. And whoever protects his soul from stinginess, then these it is that have attained Salvation. (9)
59/Al-Hashr-10: Vallazeena ceaoo min baa’dihim yakooloona raabbaneagfir lanea va li ihveaninallazeena sabakoonea bil eemeani va lea tac’aal fee kuloobinea gıllan lillazeena eamanoo raabbanea innaka raaoofun raaheem(raaheemun).
And those who come after them say: “Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have passed (migrated) before us with Faith. And do not leave in our hearts any grudge towards those who believe (who are âmenû). Our Lord, you are indeed full of Kindness, the Most Merciful”. (10)
59/Al-Hashr-11: A lam tara ilallazeena neafakoo yakooloona li ihveanihimullazeea kafaroo min ahlil kiteabi la in uhrictum la naahrucanna ma’aakum va lea nuteeu fee kum ahaadan abadan va in kootiltum la nansurannakum, vaalleahu yashhadu innahum la keaziboon(keaziboona).
Do you not see those who are disbelievers? They say to their brethren among the People of the Book who disbelieve: “If you are driven forth (from your land), we shall certainly go forth with you. We never obey any one amongst you who is against you. And if they fight you, we shall certainly help you”. And Allah bears witness that they are most surely liars. (11)
59/Al-Hashr-12: La in uhricoo lea yaahrucoona ma’aahum va la in kootıloo lea yansuroonahum va la in nasaaroohum la yuvallunnal adbear(adbeara), summa lea yunsaaroon(yunsaaroona).
If they are truly driven forth (from their land), they do not go forth with them. And if they get into fight, they do not help them. And even if they truly help them, they certainly turn their backs (run away from the fight). Then they shall not be helped. (12)
59/Al-Hashr-13: La antum ashaddu rahbatan fee sudoorihim minaalleahi, zealika bi annahum kaavmun lea yafkaahoon(yafkaahoona).
You are certainly more severe in their hearts in regards to fear (they fear you more than Allah). This is because they are a people who cannot comprehend (the Greatness and Power of Allah). (13)
59/Al-Hashr-14: Lea yukeatiloonakum cameeaan illea fee kuran muhaassaanatin av min vareai cudur(cudurin), ba’suhum baynahum shadeed(shadeedun), taahsabuhum cameeaan va kuloobuhum shattea, zealika bi annahum kaavmun lea yaa’kıloon(yaa’kıloona).
They cannot fight against you as a group, except in fortified townships, or from behind walls (fortresses). Their fighting between them is severe. You think that they are one body, yet their hearts are scattered. This is because they are a people who are not mindful. (14)
59/Al-Hashr-15: Kamasalillazeena min kaablihim kaareeban zeakoo va beala amrihim va lahum aazeabun aleem(aleemun).
(Their state is) like those before them shortly who tasted the evil result of their affairs, and for them there is a painful torment. (15)
59/Al-Hashr-16: Ka masalish shayteani iz keala lil inseanikfur, fa lammea kafara keala innee bareeun minka innee aheafulleaha raabbal ealameen(ealameena).
(The promises of the disbelievers to you is) like the state (promises) of Satan. He had said to human: “Deny (become a disbeliever)”. But when he disbelieved, he said: “I am surely distant to you, surely I fear Allah, the Lord of the Worlds”. (16)
59/Al-Hashr-17: Fa keana eakıbatahumea annahumea feen neari healidayni feehea, va zealika cazeaooz zealimeen(zealimeena).
Therefore the end of both (disbelievers and Satan) became staying in the Fire forever. And this is the punishment of the wrong-doers. (17)
59/Al-Hashr-18: Yea ayyuheallazeena eamanoottakulleaha val tanzur nafsun mea kaad damat ligaad(ligaadin), vattakoollaah(vattakoollaaha), innaalleaha haabeerun bi mea taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death), become the owners of piety towards Allah! And let every soul consider what it has offered for tomorrow! And become the owners of piety towards Allah. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what you do. (18)
59/Al-Hashr-19: Va lea takoonoo kallazeena nasoolleaha fa anseahum anfusahum, uleaika humul feasikoon(feasikoona).
And be not like those who forgot Allah! So (Allah) made them forget their own souls. These it is that are Fâsiqûn (the transgressors). (19)
59/Al-Hashr-20: Lea yastavee aasheabun neari va aasheabul cannah(cannati), aasheabul cannati humul feaizoon(feaizoona).
Not same (equal) are the inmates of the Fire and the dwellers of heaven. The dwellers of heaven; they are who have Salvation. (20)
59/Al-Hashr-21: Lav anzalnea heazal kur’eana aalea cabalin la raaytahu heashiaan mutasaaddiaan min haashyatilleah(haashyatilleahi), va tilkal amsealu naadribuhea lin neasi laaallahum yatafakkaroon(yatafakkaroona).
Had We sent down this Qur’ân on a mountain, you would have seen it humbled, crumbled because of its fear of Allah. We give these examples for the mankind that they may reflect. (21)
59/Al-Hashr-22: Huvaalleahullazee lea ileaha illea huva, ealimul gaaybi vash shaheadah(shaheadati), huvar raahmeanur raaheem(raaheemu).
It is Allah that there is no god but Him. He is the All-Knower of the Unseen and the seen. He is the Most-Beneficent, the Most Merciful. (22)
59/Al-Hashr-23: Huvaalleahullazee lea ileaha illea huva, almalikul kuddoosus saleamul moo’minul muhayminul aazeezul cabbearul mutakabbir(mutakabbiru), subheanaalleahi aammea yushrikoon(yushrikoona).
It is Allah that besides Whom there is no deity; He is the King, the Holy One, the Giver of Peace, the Granter of Security), the Guardian over all, the Mighty One, the Compeller, the Possessor of every Greatness. Glory be to Allah from what they associate as partners with Him. (23)
59/Al-Hashr-24: Huvaalleahul healikul beariool musaavviru lahul asmeaul husnea, yusabbihu lahu mea fees sameaveati val aard(aardı) va huval aazeezul haakeem(haakeemu).
It is Allah that He is the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner; His are the Most Beautiful Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise (the Owner of Judgment and Wisdom). (24)
