Surah Saba

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

Praise is due to Allah, Whose is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and to Him is due praise in the Hereafter. And He is the All-Wise, the All-Aware. (1)
34/Saba-2: Yaa’lamu mea yalicu feel aardı va mea yaahrucu minhea va mea yanzilu minas sameai va mea yaarucu feehea, va huvar raaheemul gaafoor(gaafooru).
(Allah) knows whatever goes down into the earth and whatever comes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends to it. And He is the Most Merciful (the One Who sends the glorious light of Mercy), the Oft-Forgiving (the One who changes evil deeds into merits). (2)
34/Saba-3: Va kealallazeena kafaroo lea ta’teenas seaaah(seaaatu), kul balea va raabbee la ta’tiyannakum ealimil gaayb(gaaybi), lea yaa’zubu aanhu miskealu zarratin fees sameaveati va lea feel aardı va lea aasgaaru min zealika va lea akbaru illea fee kiteabin mubeen(mubeenin).
And those who disbelieve said: “The Hour (the Day of Resurrection) shall not come to us”. Say: “Nay, my Lord Who Knows the Unseen shall certainly bring that upon you. Not the weight of an atom (even) remains hidden from Him in the heavens and in the earth. Neither less than that nor greater, but all is in a Clear Book. (3)
34/Saba-4: Li yacziyallazeena eamanoo va aamiloos sealiheat(sealiheati), uleaika lahum maagfiratun va rızkun kareem(kareemun).
(The coming of the Hour is for) that He may reward those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing). These it is for whom is Forgiveness and an honorable (generously offered) sustenance. (4)
34/Saba-5: Vallazeena saaav fee eayeatinea mueacizeena uleaika lahum aazeabun min riczin aleem(aleemun).
And as for those who strive hard in defying Our Verses, these it is for whom is a torment of filthy agony! (5)
34/Saba-6: Va yarallazeena ootool ılmallazee unzila ilayka min raabbika huval haakkaa va yahdee ilea sıreatıl aazeezil haameed(haameedi).
And those to whom the knowledge has been given see that what is sent down to you from your Lord is the truth and that it guides (delivers) to the Path of the All-Mighty, the Praised (Allah) (Sıratı Mustakîm). (6)
34/Saba-7: Va kealallazeena kafaroo hal nadullukum aalea raaculin yunabbiukum izea muzzıktum kulla mumazzakın innakum la fee haalkın cadeed(cadeedin).
And those who disbelieve said: “Shall we point out to you a man who informs you that, when you are scattered with the utmost scattering (when your body decayed after dying), you shall then be most surely created into a new creation”? (7)
34/Saba-8: Aftarea aaleallaahi kaziban am bihee cinnah(cinnatun), balillazeena lea yoominoona bil eahirati feel aazeabi vad daalealil baaeed(baaeedi).
Has he slandered against Allah with a lie? Or is there madness in him? Nay, those who do not believe in the Hereafter are in the Torment and in the Remote Misguidance. (8)
34/Saba-9: A fa lam yarav ilea mea bayna aydeehim va mea haalfahum minas sameai val aard(aardı), in nasha’naahsif bihimul aardaa av nuskıt aalayhim kisafan minas samea(sameai), inna fee zealika la eayatan li kulli aabdin muneeb(muneebin).
Do they not see what is before them and what is behind them of the heaven and the earth? If We will, We make them sink in the earth, or cause a piece from the sky to fall upon them. Most surely there is a Sign (lesson) in this for every servant turned (to Allah by wishing to reach Him). (9)
34/Saba-10: Va lakaad eataynea deavooda minnea faadlea(faadlan), yea cibealu avvibee maaahu vat taayr(taayra), va alannea lahul haadeed(haadeeda).
And certainly We gave David from Us a Virtue (We purified his soul). O mountains, turn to Me with him and o the birds (you too)! And We made the iron soft to him too. (10)
34/Saba-11: Animal seabigeatin va kaaddir fees sardi vaa’maloo sealihea(sealihaan), innee bimea taamaloona baaseer(baaseerun).
Make long (wide) armors (that covers the body) and design it in form of knit (rings of chain), and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing through Dhikr)! Truly, I am All-Seer of what you do. (11)
34/Saba-12: Va li sulaymeanar reehaa guduvvuhea shahrun va raveahuhea shahr(shahrun), va asalnea lahu aaynal kıtr(kıtri), va minal cinni man yaa’malu bayna yadayhi bi izni raabbih(raabbihee), va man yazıg minhum aan amrinea nuzıkhu min aazeabis saaeer(saaeeri).
And the wind with a morning course that is a month’s journey and an evening course that is a month’s journey was for Solomon (given to his command). We caused the molten copper to flow out from its source for him. And of the jinn there were those who worked for him by the Permission of his Lord. Whosoever of them turn aside from Our Command, We made him taste of the torment of the blazing fire. (12)
34/Saba-13: Yaa’maloona lahu mea yasheau min maheareeba va tameaseela va cifeanin kal caveabi va kudoorin reasiyeat(reasiyeatin), i’maloo eala deavooda shukrea(shukran), va kaaleelun min ibeadiyash shakoor(shakooru).
They were making for him what he willed of sanctuaries (palaces, masjids, tall buildings) and statues and basins as large as reservoirs and fixed cauldrons. O family of David work giving thanks! And very few of My servants are grateful. (13)
34/Saba-14: Fa lammea kaadaaynea aalayhil mavta mea dallahum aalea mavtihee illea deabbatul aardı ta’kulu minsaatah(minsaatahu), fa lammea haarra tabayyanatil cinnu an lav keanoo yaa’lamoonal gaayba mea labisoo feel aazeabil muheen(muheeni).
When We decreed death for him, nothing showed his death to them but a termite that ate away his staff. Only when he fell down, it (his death) became clear to the jinn (then the jinn understood he was dead). If they had known the Unseen, they would not have stayed in the humiliating torment. (14)
34/Saba-15: Lakaad keana li sabain fee maskanihim eayah(eayatun), cannateani aan yameenin va shimeal(shimealin), kuloo min rızkı raabbikum vashkuroo lah(lahu), baldatun taayyibatun va raabbun gaafoor(gaafoorun).
The two gardens on the right and on the left was indeed a Sign (lesson) for Saba (Sheba nation) in their dwelling-place. Eat of the sustenance of your Lord and give thanks to Him! (That is) a fair land. And (Allah is) an Oft-Forgiving Lord! (15)
34/Saba-16: Fa aa’raadoo fa arsalnea aalayhim saylal aarimi va baddalnea-hum bi cannatayhim cannatayni zaveatay ukulin haamtın va aslin va shayin min sidrin kaaleel(kaaleelin).
But they turned aside. So We sent upon them Arim flood, and We converted their two gardens into gardens producing bitter fruit, no fruit and a few of timbers. (16)
34/Saba-17: Zealika cazayneahum bimea kafaroo, va hal nuceazee illal kafoor(kafooraa).
Thus We punished them because of their denial. Do We punish any but the disbelievers? (17)
34/Saba-18: Va caaalnea baynahum va baynal kurallatee bearaknea feehea kuran zeahiratan va kaaddarnea feehas sayr(sayra), seeroo feehea layealiya va ayyeaman eamineen(eamineena).
And We made between them and the towns which We had blessed towns near each other, and We apportioned paths to journey therein. (We said) travel through them safely nights and days. (18)
34/Saba-19: Fa kealoo raabbanea beaidbayna asfearinea va zaalamoo anfusahum fa caaalneahum aheadeesa va mazzaakneahum kulla mumazzaak(mumazzaakın), inna fee zealika la eayeatin li kulli saabbearin shakoor(shakoorin).
But they said: “Our Lord! Make spaces to be longer between our journeys” and they wronged themselves. So We made them as tales (narrated from generation to generation) and scattered them with an utter scattering. Most surely there are Signs (lessons) in this for every very patient, grateful one. (19)
34/Saba-20: Va lakaad saaddaakaa aalayhim ibleesu zaannahu fattabaoohu illea fareekaan minal moomineen(moomineena).
And certainly Iblis (Lucifer) did prove true his conjecture (he fulfilled his purpose). So they followed (depended on) him (Satan), all except a group of believers. (20)
34/Saba-21: Va mea keana lahu aalayhim min sulteanin illea li naa’lama man yoo’minu bil eahirati mimman huva minhea fee shakk(shakkin), va raabbuka aalea kulli shayin haafeez(haafeezun).
And he (Lucifer) had no authority (influence) over them that We may know him who believes in the Hereafter (in making his spirit reach Allah while he is living) from him who is in doubt concerning it (We tested them with Lucifer). And your Lord is the Preserver of all things. (21)
34/Saba-22: Kulid’oollazeena zaaamtum min doonilleah(doonilleahi), lea yamlikoona miskeala zarratin fees sameaveati va lea feel aardı va mea lahum feehimea min shirkin va mea lahu minhum min zaaheer(zaaheerin).
Call upon those whom you assert (you consider as gods) besides Allah! They do not possess even a particle’s weight either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any partnership in either (in the heavens and in the earth), nor is there for Him (Allah) from among them any helper. (22)
34/Saba-23: Va lea tanfaush shafeaaatu indahoo illea li man azina lah(lahu), haattea izea fuzziaa aan kuloobihim kealoo meazea keala raabbukum, kealool haakk(haakkaa), va huval aaliyyul kabeer(kabeeru).
And intercession does not profit in His Presence except for him He permits. When fear is banished from their hearts, they said: “What is it that your Lord said”? They said: “The truth”. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. (23)
34/Saba-24: Kul man yarzukukum minas sameaveati val aard(aardı), kulilleahu va innea av iyyeakum la aalea hudan av fee daalealin mubeen(mubeenin).
Say: “Who gives you the sustenance from the heavens and the earth”? Say: “Allah”. And most surely we or you are on Hidayet or in manifest Misguidance. (24)
34/Saba-25: Kul lea tus’aloona aammea acramnea va lea nus’alu aammea taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
Say: “You will not be asked of the crimes we committed, nor shall we be questioned of what you did”. (25)
34/Saba-26: Kul yacmau baynanea raabbunea summa yaftahu baynanea bil haakk(haakkı), va huval fatteahul aaleem(aaleemu).
Say: “Our Lord will gather us together, then will He open (judge) between us with the truth”. And He is the Fettah (the One who Judges with Righteousness), the All-Knowing. (26)
34/Saba-27: Kul arooniyallazeena alhaaktum bihee shurakeaa kallea, bal huvaallaahul aazeezul haakeem(haakeemu).
Say: “Show Me those whom you have joined as associates” (the idols that you have associated with Allah). By no means. Nay (they cannot be associated with Allah)! He is Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (27)
34/Saba-28: Va mea arsalneaka illea keaffatan lin neasi basheeran va nazeeran va leakinna aksaran neasi lea yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
And We have not sent you except as a giver of glad tidings and a Warner to all mankind (in the universe), but most people do not know. (28)
34/Saba-29: Va yakooloona matea heazal vaa’du in kuntum seadikeen(seadikeena).
And they say: “When is this promise (the Day of Resurrection) if you are truthful”? (29)
34/Saba-30: Kul lakum meeeadu yavmin lea tasta’hiroona aanhoo seaaatan va lea tastaakdimoon(tastaakdimoona).
Say: “You cannot postpone the hour of the Day that is (appointed) for you for an hour nor put forward”. (30)
34/Saba-31: Va kealallazeena kafaroo lan noo’mina bi heazal kur’eani va lea billazee bayna yadayh(yadayhi), va lav tarea iziz zealimoona mavkoofoona inda raabbihim, yarciu baa’duhum ilea baa’dınil kaavl(kaavla), yakoolullazeenastud’ifoo lillazeenastakbaroo lav lea antum la kunnea moomineen(moomineena).
And those who disbelieve said: “We never believe in this Qur’an or in that which in between his hands (in the Gospel). If you could see when the wrongdoers are arrested before their Lord. They exchange words amongst each other! Those who were put down say to those who were arrogant: “Had it not been for you, we would certainly have been believers”. (31)
34/Saba-32: Kealallazeenastakbaroo lillazeenastud’ifoo a naahnu saadadneakum aanil hudea baa’da iz ceaakum bal kuntum mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
Those who were arrogant said to those who were put down: “Did we turn you away from the Hidayet after it had come to you”? Nay, you (yourselves) were sinners (guilty). (32)
34/Saba-33: Va kealallazeenastud’ifoo lillazeenastakbaroo bal makrul layli van naheari iz ta’muroonanea an nakfura billeahi va nac’aala lahoo andeadea(andeadan), va asarroon nadeamata lammea raaavool aazeab(aazeaba), va caaalnal aagleala fee aa’neakıllazeena kafaroo, hal yuczavna illea mea keanoo yaa’maloon(yaa’maloona).
And those who were put down said to those who were arrogant: “Nay, (your job was) plotting by night and day. You were ordering us to disbelieve in Allah and to set up equals to Him”. They conceal their regret when they see the torment. We put shackles on the necks of those who disbelieved. Do they get punished with anything except what they used to do? (33)
34/Saba-34: Va mea arsalnea fee kaaryatin min nazeerin illea keala mutrafoohea innea bimea ursiltum bihee keafiroon(keafiroona).
There is no place that We did not send a Warner. But those who led lives in ease (notables) of every country did not say anything but: “We are surely the disbelievers in what you are sent with”. (34)
34/Saba-35: Va kealoo naahnu aksaru amvealan va avleadan va mea naahnu bi muaazzabeen(muaazzabeena).
And they said: “We are more than you in wealth and children, and we shall not be tormented”. (35)
