2/Al-Baqarah-89: Va lammea ceaahum kiteabun min indilleahi musaaddikun limea maaahum, va keanoo min kaablu yastaftihoona aalallazeena kafaroo, fa lammea ceaahum mea aaraafoo kafaroo bihee, fa laa’natulleahi aalal keafireen(keafireena).
And when there came to them a Book (this Qur’ân) from Allah confirming what is with them (the Torah) (they did not accept it), although aforetime they used to pray for conquest and victory over those who disbelieved (for the sake of the Prophet mentioned in the Torah when they were constrained). When there came to them which they had recognized (the Prophet whose description and qualities are made known in the Torah), they disbelieved in it (him); so Allah’s curse is on the disbelievers. (89)
2/Al-Baqarah-90: Bi’samashtaraav bihee anfusahum an yakfuroo bi mea anzalaalleahu baagyan an yunazzilaalleahu min faadlihee aalea man yasheau min ibeadih(ibeadihee), fa beaoo bi gaadaabin aalea gaadaab(gaadaabin), va lil keafireena aazeabun muheen(muheenun).
How evil is that for which they have sold their souls (themselves)- that they should disbelieve in that which Allah has sent down, out of envy that Allah should send down of His (light of) Virtue (Fazl) on whomsoever of His servants He wills (pleases). So they have drawn on themselves wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers there is a disgracing torment. (90)
2/Al-Baqarah-91: Va izea keela lahum eaminoo bi mea anzalaalleahu kealoo nu’minu bi mea unzila aalaynea va yakfuroona bi mea vareaahu va huval haakku musaaddikaan limea maaahum kul fa lima taaktuloona anbiyeaaalleahi min kaablu in kuntum mu’mineen(mu’mineena).
And when it is said to them: “Believe in what Allah has sent down”, they say: “We believe in what was sent down to us. And they disbelieved in that which came after it, while it is the truth confirming what is with them”. Say: “Why then have you killed the Prophets of Allah aforetime, if you indeed have been believers”? (91)
2/Al-Baqarah-92: Va lakaad ceaakum moosea bil bayyineati summattahaaztumul icla min baa’dihee va antum zealimoon(zealimoona).
And most certainly Moses came to you with clear signs, then you took the calf (for a god) in his absence and you were wrong-doers (unjust, polytheists). (92)
2/Al-Baqarah-93: Va iz ahaaznea meeseakaakum va rafaa’nea favkaakumut toor(tooraa), huzoo mea eatayneakum bi kuvvatin vasmaoo kealoo sami’nea va aasaynea va ushriboo fee kuloobihimul icla bi kufrihim kul bi’sa mea ya’murukum bihee eemeanukum in kuntum mu’mineen(mu’mineena).
And (remember) when We took your covenant and We raised above you the Mount (saying): “Hold firmly to what We have given you (the Torah) and hear (My Orders)”. They said: “We have heard and disobeyed”. For their disbelief, they were made to drink into (imbibe, absorb) their hearts (the love of) the Calf. Say: “Evil is that which your belief enjoins you to, if you are believers”. (93)
