فَلاَ تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلاَ أَوْلاَدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ اللّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَافِرُونَ ﴿٥٥﴾
9/At-Tawbah-55: Fa lea tu’cibka amvealuhum va lea avleaduhum, innamea yureedulleahu li yuaazzibahum bihea feel haayeatid dunyea va tazhakaa anfusuhum va hum keafiroon(keafiroona).
Let not then their property and their children impress you. Allah only wishes to torment them with these in this world’s life and that their souls to depart while they are disbelievers. (55)
وَيَحْلِفُونَ بِاللّهِ إِنَّهُمْ لَمِنكُمْ وَمَا هُم مِّنكُمْ وَلَكِنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ يَفْرَقُونَ ﴿٥٦﴾
9/At-Tawbah-56: Va yaahlifoona billeahi innahum la minkum, va mea hum minkum va leakinna hum kaavmun yafraakoon(yafraakoona).
They swear by Allah that they are most surely of you, and they are not of you. They are a people who are sissy. (56)
لَوْ يَجِدُونَ مَلْجَأً أَوْ مَغَارَاتٍ أَوْ مُدَّخَلاً لَّوَلَّوْاْ إِلَيْهِ وَهُمْ يَجْمَحُونَ ﴿٥٧﴾
9/At-Tawbah-57: Lav yacidoona malcaan av maageareatin av muddahaalan la vallav ilayhi va hum yacmahoon(yacmahoona).
If they could find a shelter or caves or a place to enter into, they would certainly have turned thereto, running away in all haste. (57)
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَلْمِزُكَ فِي الصَّدَقَاتِ فَإِنْ أُعْطُواْ مِنْهَا رَضُواْ وَإِن لَّمْ يُعْطَوْاْ مِنهَا إِذَا هُمْ يَسْخَطُونَ ﴿٥٨﴾
9/At-Tawbah-58: Va minhum man yalmizuka fees saadaakeat(saadaakeati), fa in u’too minhea raadoo va in lam yu’taav minhea eezea hum yashaatoon(yashaatoona).
And of them there are those who criticize you with respect to the alms. So if they are given from it (from alms, booty) they are pleased, and if they are not given from it, behold, they are full of rage. (58)
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ رَضُوْاْ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَقَالُواْ حَسْبُنَا اللّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللّهِ رَاغِبُونَ ﴿٥٩﴾
9/At-Tawbah-59: Va lav annahum raadoo mea eateahumulleahu va rasooluhu va kealoo haasbunealleahu sa yu’tinealleahu min faadlihee va rasooluhoo innea ilealleahi reagıboon(reagıboona).
And if they had been content with what Allah and His Messenger gave them (of booty), they would have said: “Allah is Sufficient for us; Allah will give us of His Virtue, and (so will) His Messenger”. Surely, we are desirous toward Allah. (59)
إِنَّمَا الصَّدَقَاتُ لِلْفُقَرَاء وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَالْعَامِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَالْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِي الرِّقَابِ وَالْغَارِمِينَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ اللّهِ وَاللّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿٦٠﴾
9/At-Tawbah-60: Innameas saadaakeatu lil fukaareai val masaakeeni val eamileena aalayhea val muallafati kuloobuhum va feer rikeabi val gearimeena va fee sabeelilleahi vabnis sabeel(vabnis sabeeli), faareedaatan minaalleah(minaalleahi), vaalleahu aaleemun haakeem(haakeemun).
Zakat is for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect (Zakat). And for those whose hearts will be brought together (for Islam) and for slaves and for those in debt and for (those) on the Way of Allah and for the travelers - an obligation by Allah. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (60)
وَمِنْهُمُ الَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ النَّبِيَّ وَيِقُولُونَ هُوَ أُذُنٌ قُلْ أُذُنُ خَيْرٍ لَّكُمْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللّهِ وَيُؤْمِنُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ رَسُولَ اللّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ ﴿٦١﴾
9/At-Tawbah-61: Va minhumullazeena yu’zoonan nabiyya va yakooloona huva uzun(uzunun), kul uzunu haayrin lakum yu’minu billeahi va yu’minu lil mu’mineena va raahmatun lillazeena eamanoo minkum, vallazeena yu’zoona rasoolaalleahi lahum aazeabun aleem(aleemun).
There are some of them who persecute the Prophet say: “He is (like) an ear (he listens to everything told and believes it)”. Say: “He is an ear of goodness for you (He hears what you say, accepts it; he is an ear of goodness because he does not deny you and not because he does not know it)”. He believes in Allah and has faith in the believers. And he is a mercy for those of you who believe (who are âmenû). For those who persecute the Messenger of Allah (those who say improper words to him, who criticize him) there is a painful torment. (61)
