وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَارَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ هُدَى اللّهِ هُوَ الْهُدَى وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءهُم بَعْدَ الَّذِي جَاءكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلاَ نَصِيرٍ ﴿١٢٠﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-120: Va lan tardea aankal yaahoodu va lan naasearea haattea tattabiaa millatahum kul inna hudealleahi huval hudea va la inittabaa’ta ahveaahum baa’dallazee ceaaka minal ilmi, mea laka minaalleahi min valiyyin va lea naaseer(naaseerin).
And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow (depend on) their religion. Say: “Verily, reaching Allah (while alive) [Allah to deliver to Himself], that is the (true) Guidance”. And if you follow (depend on) their (vain) desires after the knowledge that has come to you, for you there shall be from Allah no protecting friend (Wali) nor any helper. (120)
الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاَوَتِهِ أُوْلَئِكَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَمن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ ﴿١٢١﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-121: Allazeena eatayneahumul kiteaba yatloonahu haakkaa tileavatih(tileavatihee) uleaika yu’minoona bih(bihee), va man yakfur bihee fa uleaika humul heasiroon(heasiroona).
Those to whom We gave the Book (the Prophets and the Messengers) read (and explain) it as it ought to be read (explained). They are the ones who believe in it. And whoso disbelieve in it (by denying it), those are they who are the losers. (121)
يَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ اذْكُرُواْ نِعْمَتِيَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّي فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿١٢٢﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-122: Yea banee isreaeelazkuroo ni’matiyallatee an’aamtu aalaykum va annee faaddaaltukum aalal ealameen(ealameena).
O Children of Israel! Remember My Blessing which I bestowed upon you and that I made you superior upon the Worlds (Âlamîn, mankind and jinn). (122)
وَاتَّقُواْ يَوْماً لاَّ تَجْزِي نَفْسٌ عَن نَّفْسٍ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يُقْبَلُ مِنْهَا عَدْلٌ وَلاَ تَنفَعُهَا شَفَاعَةٌ وَلاَ هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ ﴿١٢٣﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-123: Vattakoo yavman lea taczee nafsun aan nafsin shay’an va lea yukbalu minhea aadlun va lea tanfauhea shafeaaatun va lea hum yunsaaroon(yunsaaroona).
And guard yourselves against a Day when no soul will avail another, nor shall compensation be accepted from him, nor shall intercession be of use to him, nor shall they be helped. (123)
وَإِذِ ابْتَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ رَبُّهُ بِكَلِمَاتٍ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامًا قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي قَالَ لاَ يَنَالُ عَهْدِي الظَّالِمِينَ ﴿١٢٤﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-124: Va izibtalea ibreaheema raabbuhu bi kalimeatin fa atammahun(atammahunna), keala innee ceailuka lin neasi imeamea(imeaman), keala va min zurriyyatee keala lea yanealu aahdiz zealimeen(zealimeena).
And (remember) when his Lord tried Abraham with certain words, he fulfilled them. He said: “Verily, I am going to make you an Imâm (a Leader) for mankind”. (Abraham) said: “And of my offspring”? (Allah) said: “My covenant (My Mercy of religious leadership) does not extend to the wrongdoers (of your offspring)”. (124)
وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا الْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْناً وَاتَّخِذُواْ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ ﴿١٢٥﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-125: Va iz caaalneal bayta maseabatan lin neasi va amnea(amnan), vattahizoo min maakeamı ibreaheema musaallea(musaallan) va aahidnea ilea ibreaheema va ismeaeela an taahhirea baytiya lit teaifeena val eakifeena var rukkaais sucood(sucoodi).
And (remember) We made the House (the Holy Ka’ba at Makka) a place of resort (where one may gain rewards) and a place of safety. Appoint for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place (Maqâm) of Abraham (Ibrahîm). And We enjoined Abraham and Ishmael (Ismail) that they should purify My House for those who circumambulate (it) and stay (and contemplate in it) and bow and prostrate themselves (there, in prayer). (125)
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هََذَا بَلَدًا آمِنًا وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُم بِاللّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلاً ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَى عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ ﴿١٢٦﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-126: Va iz keala ibreaheemu raabbic’aal heazea baladan eaminan varzuk ahlahu minas samareati man eamana minhum billeahi val yavmil eahir(eahiri), keala va man kafara fa umattiuhu kaaleelan summa aadtaarruhu ilea aazeabin near(neari), va bi’sal maaseer(maaseeru).
And (remember) when Abraham said: “My Lord, make this city a place of security and provide its people with fruits, as they believe in Allah and the Last Day”, He said: “As for him who disbelieves, I will grant him enjoyment for a short while, then I will compel him to the torment of the Fire; and it is an evil destination”. (126)
