2/Al-Baqarah-127: Va iz yarfau ibreaheemul kaaveaida minal bayti vaismeaeel(ismeaeelu) raabbanea takaabbal minnea innaka antas sameeul aaleem(aaleemu).
And (remember) when Abraham and (his son) Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House (saying): “Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us, Verily, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing”. (127)
2/Al-Baqarah-128: Raabbanea vac’aalnea muslimayni laka va min zurriyyatinea ummatan muslimatan laka va arinea maneasikanea va tub aalaynea, innaka antat tavveabur raaheem(raaheemu).
Our Lord! Make us both submitted ones to You and of our offspring a community (nation) which will be submitted to You and show us the places (and rules) of worship (of pilgrimage) and accept our repentance. You are indeed the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful [You are the One who accepts repentance, and sends the (light of) mercy]. (128)
2/Al-Baqarah-129: Raabbanea vab’aas feehim rasoolan minhum yatloo aalayhim eayeatika va yuaallimuhumul kiteaba val hikmata va yuzakkeehim innaka antal aazeezul haakeem(haakeemu).
Our Lord! And raise up in them a Messenger of their own who shall read (and explain) Your Verses (Signs) and teach them the Book and the Wisdom, and purify them (their souls’ hearts). Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. (129)
2/Al-Baqarah-130: Va man yargaabu aan millati ibreaheema illea man safiha nafsah(nafsahu), va lakaadistaafayneahufeed dunyea, va innahu feeleahirati la minas sealiheen(sealiheena).
And who would turn away (renounce) from the Religion (faith) of Abraham except him who befools his own soul? Truly, We chose him in the world, and surely he will be one of the righteous ones (Sâlihîn) in the Hereafter as well. (131) When his Lord said to him: “Submit”! He said: “I have submitted myself to the Lord of the Worlds”. (130)
2/Al-Baqarah-131: Iz keala lahoo raabbuhoo aslim keala aslamtu li raabbil ealameen(ealameena).
When his Lord said to him: “Submit”! He said: “I have submitted myself to the Lord of the Worlds”. (131)
2/Al-Baqarah-132: Va vaassea bihea ibreaheemu baneehi va yaa’koob(yaa’koobu), yea baniyya innaalleahastaafea lakumud deena fa lea tamootunna illea va antum muslimoon(muslimoona).
And Abraham enjoined the same upon his sons, and so did Jacob (Ya’qûb): O my children, Allah has chosen for you this Religion, then do not die unless you are submitted (Muslimûn= those who have accomplished their four submissions, i.e. the submission of the spirit, the physical body, the soul and the free will to Allah). (132)
2/Al-Baqarah-133: Am kuntum shuhadeaa iz haadaaraa yaa’koobal mavtu, iz keala li baneehi mea taa’budoona min baa’dee kealoo naa’budu ileahaka va ileaha eabeaika ibreaheema va ismeaeela va isheakaa ileahan veahidea(veahidan) va naahnu lahu muslimoon(muslimoona).
Or were you witnesses when death came to Jacob? He said to his sons: “What will you serve after me”? They said: “We will serve your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac (Ishâq), one God only, and to Him we are submitted”. (133)
2/Al-Baqarah-134: Tilka ummatun kaad haalat, lahea mea kasabat va lakum mea kasabtum, va lea tus’aloona aammea keanoo yaa’maloon(yaa’maloona).
That was a nation (a community) that has passed away. They shall have what they earned and you shall have what you earn, and you shall not be questioned about their actions (you are not responsible for what they have done). (134)
