Surah Ibrahim

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

يَتَجَرَّعُهُ وَلاَ يَكَادُ يُسِيغُهُ وَيَأْتِيهِ الْمَوْتُ مِن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِ عَذَابٌ غَلِيظٌ ﴿١٧﴾
14/Ibrahim-17: Yatacarrauhu va lea yakeadu yuseeguhu va ya’teehil mavtu min kulli makeanin va mea huva bi mayyit(mayyitin), va min vareaihee aazeabun gaaleez(gaaleezun).

Imam Iskender Ali Mihr

He will try to sip it and (but) will not be able to swallow it easily. Death will come to him from every side, yet he cannot die (although he will beg to die). And there is a vehement torment behind him.

Which he gulpeth, but wellnigh swalloweth not. And death cometh upon him from every side, while yet he is not dead, and behind him is a torment terrible.
