12/Yusuf-53: Va mea ubarriu nafsee, innan nafsa la ammearatun bis sooi illea mea raahima raabbee, inna raabbee gaafoorun raaheem(raaheemun).
And I cannot exonerate my soul. Most surely the soul always commands what is evil, except (the souls) such as on whom my Lord manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful. Surely my Lord is Oft-Forgiving (the One Who changes the evil deeds into rewards), the Most Merciful (the One who sends the Light of Mercy and show mercy). (53)
12/Yusuf-54: Va kealal maliku’toonee bihee astaahlishu li nafsee, fa lammea kallamahu keala innakal yavma ladaynea makeenun ameen(ameenun).
And the king said: “Bring him to me! I appointed him exclusively for myself.” So when he had spoken with him, he said: “Surely you have an honorable position in our presence today, and you are safe (of a person).” (54)
12/Yusuf-55: Kealac’aalnee aalea haazeainil aard(aardı), innee haafeezun aaleem(aaleemun).
(Joseph) said: “Appoint me over the treasures of the land! Surely I am a good keeper, knowing well.” (55)
12/Yusuf-56: Va kazealika makkannea li yoosufa feel aard(aardı), yatabavvau minhea haaysu yashea’(yasheau), nuseebu bi raahmatinea man nasheau va lea nudeeu acral muhsineen(muhsineena).
Thus We established Joseph (Thus did We give authority to Joseph) in the land. He dwelled in it wherever he liked. We reach with Our Mercy whom we will. And We do not waste the reward (wage) of the good-doers (Muhsinîn). (56)
And certainly the reward of the hereafter (wishing to render the spirit back to Allah before death) is much better for those who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah while they are alive). And they have become the owners of piety (Takwâ). (57)
12/Yusuf-58: Va ceaa ihvatu yoosufa fa dahaaloo aalayhi fa aarafahum va hum lahu munkiroon(munkiroona).
And Joseph’s brothers came and entered upon him. He recognized them while they did not know him. (58)
12/Yusuf-59: Va lammea cahhazahum bi caheazihim keala’toonee bi aahin lakum min abeekum, a lea taravna annee oofeel kayla va ana haayrul munzileen(munzileena).
And when he furnished them with their provision, he said: “Bring to me the other brother of yours from your father. Do you not see that I give full measure and that I am the best of the hosts.” (59)
12/Yusuf-60: Fa in lam ta’toonee bihee fa lea kayla lakum indee va lea taakraboon(taakrabooni).
“But if you do not bring him to me, you shall have no measure (provision) from me, nor shall you come near me.” (60)
They said: “We will strive to make his father yield in respect of him and verily we shall do it.” (61)
12/Yusuf-62: Va keala li fityeanihic’aaloo bideaaatahum fee rihealihim laaallahum yaa’rifoonahea izankaalaboo ilea ahlihim laaallahum yarci’oon(yarci’oona).
And (Joseph) said to his young menservants: “Put their sum given for provision into their saddlebags that they may recognize it when they go back to their family, so that they may come back.” (62)
12/Yusuf-63: Fa lammea racaoo ilea abeehim kealoo yea abeanea muniaa minnal kaylu fa arsil maaanea aheanea naktal va innea lahu la heafizoon(heafizoona).
So when they returned to their families they told (their father): “O our father! The measure is hindered from us. Therefore send with us our brother, so that we may get the measure (provision). We will most surely guard him.” (63)
