مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ
﴿٢٥﴾
37/As-Saffat-25: Mea lakum lea taneasaaroon(taneasaaroona).
What is the matter with you that you do not help one another? (25)
بَلْ هُمُ الْيَوْمَ مُسْتَسْلِمُونَ
﴿٢٦﴾
37/As-Saffat-26: Bal humul yavma mustaslimoon(mustaslimoona).
Nay! They are the submitters today. (26)
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
﴿٢٧﴾
37/As-Saffat-27: Va aakbala baa’duhum aalea baa’dın yataseaaloon(yataseaaloona).
And they question one another by turning to one another. (27)
قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ
﴿٢٨﴾
37/As-Saffat-28: Kealoo innakum kuntum ta’toonanea aanil yameen(yameeni).
They say (said): “It was you who used to come to us from the right side (as if you were on Allah’s side). (28)
قَالُوا بَل لَّمْ تَكُونُوا مُؤْمِنِينَ
﴿٢٩﴾
37/As-Saffat-29: Kealoo bal lam takoonoo moo’mineen(moo’mineena).
They say (said): “Nay, you were not believers (you did not wish to reach Allah before death)”. (29)
وَمَا كَانَ لَنَا عَلَيْكُم مِّن سُلْطَانٍ بَلْ كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا طَاغِينَ
﴿٣٠﴾
37/As-Saffat-30: Va mea keana lanea aalaykum min sultean(sulteanin), bal kuntum kaavman teageen(teageena).
And we had no authority over you, but you were an extravagant people. (30)
فَحَقَّ عَلَيْنَا قَوْلُ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا لَذَائِقُونَ
﴿٣١﴾
37/As-Saffat-31: Fa haakkaa aalaynea kaavlu raabbinea innea la zeaıkoon(zeaıkoona).
So now the Word (of torment) of our Lord has been justified against us. Surely we are the ones who shall taste it (the Torment). (31)
فَأَغْوَيْنَاكُمْ إِنَّا كُنَّا غَاوِينَ
﴿٣٢﴾
37/As-Saffat-32: Fa aagvayneakum innea kunnea geaveen(geaveena).
Yes, we led you astray. We were ourselves truly astray. (32)
فَإِنَّهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ
﴿٣٣﴾
37/As-Saffat-33: Fa innahum yavma izin feel aazeabi mushtarikoon(mushtarikoona).
Then they are on the Day of Permission sharers in the torment. (33)
إِنَّا كَذَلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِالْمُجْرِمِينَ
﴿٣٤﴾
37/As-Saffat-34: Innea kazealika naf’aalu bil mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
Surely this is what We do to the guilty. (34)
إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
﴿٣٥﴾
37/As-Saffat-35: Innahum keanoo izea keela lahum lea ileaha illaalleahu yastakbiroon(yastakbiroona).
Surely, when it was said to them: “There is no god but Allah”, they puffed themselves up with pride. (35)
وَيَقُولُونَ أَئِنَّا لَتَارِكُوا آلِهَتِنَا لِشَاعِرٍ مَّجْنُونٍ
﴿٣٦﴾
37/As-Saffat-36: Va yakooloona a innea la tearikoo ealihatinea li sheairin macnoon(macnoonin).
And they say (said): “What! Shall we indeed give up our gods for a mad poet”? (36)
بَلْ جَاء بِالْحَقِّ وَصَدَّقَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
﴿٣٧﴾
37/As-Saffat-37: Bal ceaa bil haakkı va saaddaakaal mursaleen(mursaleena).
Nay, he has brought the truth and he confirmed the sent Messengers. (37)
إِنَّكُمْ لَذَائِقُو الْعَذَابِ الْأَلِيمِ
﴿٣٨﴾
37/As-Saffat-38: Innakum la zeaikool aazeabil aleem(aleemi).
Most surely you are the ones who will taste the painful torment. (38)
وَمَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
﴿٣٩﴾
37/As-Saffat-39: Va mea tuczavna illea mea kuntum taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
And you shall not be punished except for what you used to do. (39)
إِلَّا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ الْمُخْلَصِينَ
﴿٤٠﴾
37/As-Saffat-40: Illea ibeadaalleahil muhlaseen(muhlaseena).
Except the utterly pure servants of Allah (Muhlasîn). (40)
أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ رِزْقٌ مَّعْلُومٌ
﴿٤١﴾
37/As-Saffat-41: Uleaika lahum rizkun maa’loom(maa’loomun).
For them is a known sustenance. (41)
فَوَاكِهُ وَهُم مُّكْرَمُونَ
﴿٤٢﴾
37/As-Saffat-42: Faveakih(faveakihu), va hum mukramoon(mukramoona).
Fruits, and they are the offered. (42)
فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
﴿٤٣﴾
37/As-Saffat-43: Fee canneatin naaeem(naaeemi).
In heaven of Naîm (abundant blessings). (43)
عَلَى سُرُرٍ مُّتَقَابِلِينَ
﴿٤٤﴾
37/As-Saffat-44: AAlea sururin mutakeabileen(mutakeabileena).
On thrones facing one another. (44)
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِم بِكَأْسٍ مِن مَّعِينٍ
﴿٤٥﴾
37/As-Saffat-45: Yuteafu aalayhim bi ka’sin min maaeen(maaeenin).
A cup shall be made to go round them (filled) from water running out of springs. (45)
بَيْضَاء لَذَّةٍ لِّلشَّارِبِينَ
﴿٤٦﴾
37/As-Saffat-46: Baydeaa lazzatin lish shearibeen(shearibeena).
Clear, delicious to the drinkers. (46)
لَا فِيهَا غَوْلٌ وَلَا هُمْ عَنْهَا يُنزَفُونَ
﴿٤٧﴾
37/As-Saffat-47: Lea feehea gaavlun va lea hum aanhea yunzafoon(yunzafoona).
There is nothing in it that influences the mind nor will they suffer intoxication from it. (47)
وَعِنْدَهُمْ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ عِينٌ
﴿٤٨﴾
37/As-Saffat-48: Va indahum keasıreatut taarfı een(eenun).
And beside them are women who restrain their eyes (turning their eyes only to their husbands) with wide and beautiful eyes. (48)
كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَّكْنُونٌ
﴿٤٩﴾
37/As-Saffat-49: Ka anna hunna baydun maknoon(maknoonun).
They are like protected (untouched) eggs. (49)
فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ
﴿٥٠﴾
37/As-Saffat-50: Fa aakbala baa’duhum aalea baa’dın yataseaaloon(yataseaaloona).
Then they question mutually turning to one another. (50)
قَالَ قَائِلٌ مِّنْهُمْ إِنِّي كَانَ لِي قَرِينٌ
﴿٥١﴾
37/As-Saffat-51: Keala keailun minhum innee keana lee kaareen(kaareenun).
A speaker of them say (said): “Verily, I had a companion”. (51)
