2/Al-Baqarah-265: Va masalullazeena yunfikoona amvealahumubtigeaa maardeatilleahi va tasbeetan min anfusihim ka masali cannatin bi raabvatin aseabahea veabilun fa eatat ukulahea dı’fayn(dı’fayni), fa in lam yusıbhea veabilun fa taall(taallun), vaalleahu bimea taa’maloona baaseer(baaseerun).
And the likeness of those who spend their property seeking Allah’s Pleasure and fixing (this) in their souls (by persevering) is as the likeness of a garden on a height; heavy rain falls on it, so it brings forth its fruit twofold; and if no heavy rain falls upon it, then light rain (is sufficient). And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. (265)
2/Al-Baqarah-266: A yavaddu ahaadukum an takoona lahu cannatun min naaheelin va aa’neabin tacree min taahtihal anhearu, lahoo feehea min kullis samaareati va aseabahul kibaru va lahu zurriyyatun duaafeau fa aseabahea ı’searun feehi nearun faahtaraakaat kazealika yubayyinulleahu lakumul eayeati laaallakum tatafakkaroon(tatafakkaroona).
Would any one of you like to have a garden of palm-trees and vines, with rivers flowing beneath it, with all kinds of fruit for him therein, and old age had stricken him and he has weak offspring (to support) and a whirlwind with fire strikes it and it is (all) consumed by fire? Thus Allah makes plain the Verses to you, so that you may perhaps reflect. (266)
2/Al-Baqarah-267: Yea ayyuheallazeena eamanoo anfikoo min taayyibeati mea kasabtum va mimmea aahraacnea lakum minal aard(aardı), va lea tayammamool haabeesa minhu tunfikoona va lastum bi eahızeehı illea an tugmidoo feeh(feehee), vaa’lamoo annaalleaha gaaniyyun haameed(haameedun).
O you who become âmenû (believe)! spend of the good things which you have earned or what We have brought forth for you out of the earth, and do not aim at what is bad that you may spend (in alms) of it, while you would not take it yourselves unless you close your eyes and know that Allah is Rich and Praiseworthy. (267)
2/Al-Baqarah-268: Ash shayteanu yaidukumul faakraa va ya’murukumbil faahsheai vaalleahu yaidukum maagfiratan minhuva faadlea(faadlaan), vaalleahu veasiun aaleem(aaleemun).
Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to commit Fahshâ (indecency, immorality) whereas Allah promises you Forgiveness from Himself and abundance of Virtue and Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing. (268)
2/Al-Baqarah-269: Yu’til hikmata man yasheau, va man yu’tal hikmata fa kaad ootiya haayraan kaseerea(kaseeran), va mea yazzakkaru illea ulool albeab(albeabi).
He grants Wisdom to whom He pleases, and he to whom Wisdom (Hikmah) is granted is indeed given a great good and none comprehends except “Ûlu’l elbâb” [the owners of the innermost secret treasures of Allah because of their continuous dhikr). (269)
