9/At-Tawbah-7: Kayfa yakoonu lil mushrikeena aahdun indaalleahi va inda rasoolihee illeallazeena eahadtum indal mascidil haaream(haareami), fa meastakeamoo lakum fastakeemoo lahum, innaalleaha yuhıbbul muttakeen(muttakeena).
How can there be a covenant with Allah and with His Messenger for the associators? Except those with whom you made a covenant near Mescid-i Haram? So as long as they are true to you (if they fulfill their covenant), be true to them (fulfill your covenant). Surely Allah loves the owners of piety (Takwâ). (7)
9/At-Tawbah-8: Kayfa va in yaazharoo aalaykum lea yarkuboo feekum illan va lea zimmat (zimmatan), yurdoonakum bi afveahihim va ta'bea kuloobuhum, va aksaruhum feasikoon(feasikoona).
How can there be (such a covenant with them)? If they gain force against you (if they back up each other), they would not respect ties of kinship or covenant with you (the rights you have on account of your covenant) they please you with their tongues while their hearts are averse to you, and most of them are Fâsiqûn (those who are not in the Way of Allah or have gone out of it). (8)
9/At-Tawbah-9: Ishtarav bi eayeatilleahi samanan kaaleelan fa saaddoo aan sabeelihee, innahum seaa mea keanoo yaa'maloon(yaa'maloona).
They have sold the Verses of Allah for a trifling price. So they hindered (others) from His Way (they prevented others from Sıratı Mustakîm). Evil indeed is that which they used to do. (9)
9/At-Tawbah-10: Lea yarkuboona fee mu'minin illan va lea zimmah(zimmatan), va uleaika humul mu'tadoon(mu'tadoona).
They do not respect either kinship (ties of relationship) nor covenant towards the believers (they do not pay back the believers). It is they who are the transgressors. (10)
9/At-Tawbah-11: Fa in teaboo va akeamus saaleata va eatuz zakeata fa ıhveanukum feed deen (deeni), va nufaassılul eayeati li kaavmin yaa'lamoon(yaa'lamoona).
Yet if they repent (before the Messenger by wishing to reach Allah before death) and keep up the prayer and pay Alms (the Zakât), then they are your brethren in religion. And We explain the Verses in detail for a people who know. (11)
9/At-Tawbah-12: Va in nakasoo aymeanahum min baa'di aahdihim va taaaanoo fee deenikum fa keatiloo aimmatal kufri innahum lea aymeana lahum laaallahum yantahoon(yantahoona).
And if they break their oaths after their covenant and revile your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief. Surely they have (indeed) no oaths so that they may desist. (12)
9/At-Tawbah-13: A lea tukeatiloona kaavman nakasoo aymeanahum va hammoo bi ihreacir rasooli va hum badaookum avvala marraah(marraatin), a taahshavnahum, faalleahu ahaakku an taahshavhu in kuntum mu'mineen(mu'mineena).
Will you not fight a people who broke their oaths? And they aimed at the expulsion of the Prophet (from his home) and they attacked you first. Do you fear them? But Allah is most deserving that you should fear Him, if you are believers. (13)
