وَإِمَّا تُعْرِضَنَّ عَنْهُمُ ابْتِغَاء رَحْمَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّكَ تَرْجُوهَا فَقُل لَّهُمْ قَوْلاً مَّيْسُورًا
﴿٢٨﴾
17/Al-Isra-28: Va immea tu’ridaanna aanhumubtigeaa raahmatin min raabbika tarcoohea fa kul lahum kaavlan maysoorea(maysooran).
If you turn away from the needy (being compelled to it) awaiting Mercy from your Lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word. (28)
وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ يَدَكَ مَغْلُولَةً إِلَى عُنُقِكَ وَلاَ تَبْسُطْهَا كُلَّ الْبَسْطِ فَتَقْعُدَ مَلُومًا مَّحْسُورًا
﴿٢٩﴾
17/Al-Isra-29: Va lea tac’aal yadaka maagloolatan ilea unukıka va lea tabsuthea kullal baastı fa taak’uda malooman maahsoorea(maahsooran).
And do not make your hand to be shackled to your neck (do not become stingy) nor stretch it forth to the utmost (do not waste). Otherwise you should remain blamed, stripped off of your property. (29)
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَاء وَيَقْدِرُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا بَصِيرًا
﴿٣٠﴾
17/Al-Isra-30: Inna raabbaka yabsutur rızkaa li man yasheau va yaakdir(yaakdiru), innahu keana bi ibeadihee haabeeraan baaseerea(baaseeraan).
Surely your Lord enlarges (and measures) the means of sustenance for whom He wills and straitens. Surely He is ever aware of, seeing His servants. (30)
وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ أَوْلادَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ إِمْلاقٍ نَّحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُم إنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْءًا كَبِيرًا
﴿٣١﴾
17/Al-Isra-31: Va lea taaktuloo avleadakum haashyata imleak(imleakın), naahnu narzukuhum va iyyeakum, inna kaatlahum keana hıt’an kabeerea(kabeeran).
Do not kill your children for fear of poverty! We give the sustenance. Surely to kill them is a great crime (committed deliberately). (31)
وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ الزِّنَى إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاء سَبِيلاً
﴿٣٢﴾
17/Al-Isra-32: Va lea taakrabooz zinea innahu keana feahıshah(feahıshatan), va seaa sabeelea(sabeelan).
Do not approach adultery! Surely it is an indecency and evil way. (32)
وَلاَ تَقْتُلُواْ النَّفْسَ الَّتِي حَرَّمَ اللّهُ إِلاَّ بِالحَقِّ وَمَن قُتِلَ مَظْلُومًا فَقَدْ جَعَلْنَا لِوَلِيِّهِ سُلْطَانًا فَلاَ يُسْرِف فِّي الْقَتْلِ إِنَّهُ كَانَ مَنْصُورًا
﴿٣٣﴾
17/Al-Isra-33: Va lea taaktuloon nafsallatee haarramaalleahu illea bil haakk(haakkı), va man kutila maazlooman fa kaad caaalnea li valiyyihee sulteanan fa lea yusrif feel kaatl(kaatli), innahu keana mansoorea(mansooraan).
And do not kill any soul (a person) whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause! Whoever is killed wrongfully (unjustly), We have indeed given to his heir the authority. So he should not exceed the just limits in killing. Surely he is aided. (33)
وَلاَ تَقْرَبُواْ مَالَ الْيَتِيمِ إِلاَّ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ أَشُدَّهُ وَأَوْفُواْ بِالْعَهْدِ إِنَّ الْعَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْؤُولاً
﴿٣٤﴾
17/Al-Isra-34: Va lea taakraboo mealal yateemi illea billatee hiya aahsanu haattea yablugaa ashuddah(ashuddahu), va avfoo bil aahd(aahdi), innal aahda keana mas’oolea(mas’oolan).
Do not approach the property of an orphan except in a goodly way till he attains his the age of full strength (puberty)! And fulfill the covenant! Surely the covenant makes (you) responsible. (34)
وَأَوْفُوا الْكَيْلَ إِذا كِلْتُمْ وَزِنُواْ بِالقِسْطَاسِ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ ذَلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلاً
﴿٣٥﴾
17/Al-Isra-35: Va avfool kayla izea kiltum vazinoo bil kısteasil mustakeem(mustakeemi), zealika haayrun va aahsanu ta’veelea(ta’veelan).
And give full measure when you measure out, and weigh with a true balance! This is fair and better in respect of interpretation. (35)
وَلاَ تَقْفُ مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ إِنَّ السَّمْعَ وَالْبَصَرَ وَالْفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُولئِكَ كَانَ عَنْهُ مَسْؤُولاً
﴿٣٦﴾
17/Al-Isra-36: Va lea taakfu mea laysa laka bihee ilm(ilmun), innas sam’aa val baasaaraa val fueada kullu uleaika keana aanhu mas’oolea(mas’oolan).
And do not go after that of which you have not the knowledge (do not try to get in or explain)! Surely the hearing and the sight and the comprehension, all of these are responsible from that (Takfu). (36)
وَلاَ تَمْشِ فِي الأَرْضِ مَرَحًا إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ الأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ الْجِبَالَ طُولاً
﴿٣٧﴾
17/Al-Isra-37: Va lea tamshi feel aardı marahea(marahaan), innaka lan taahrikaal aardaa va lan tablugaal cibeala toolea(toolan).
And do not walk on the earth with arrogance! You cannot provoke (move) the earth nor reach the mountains in height (cannot be as high as mountains). (37)
كُلُّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ سَيٍّئُهُ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ مَكْرُوهًا
﴿٣٨﴾
17/Al-Isra-38: Kullu zealika keana sayyiuhu inda raabbika makroohaa(makroohan).
All of these evil (that cause to lose the degrees) is abominable with your Lord. (38)
