73/Al-Muzzammil-1: Yea ayyuhal muzzammil(muzzammilu).
O you who is wrapped up, hiding! (1)

73/Al-Muzzammil-2: Kumil layla illea kaaleelea(kealilan).
Get up at night, except a little portion of it! (2)

73/Al-Muzzammil-3: Nısfahoo avinkus minhu kaaleelea(kealilan).
Half of it (the night), or lessen it a little (of the half). (3)

73/Al-Muzzammil-4: Ay zid aalayhi va rattilil kur’eana tarteelea(tartilan).
Or add to it, and recite the Qur’an beautifully, in a measured rhythmic tone. (4)

73/Al-Muzzammil-5: Innea sa nulkee aalayka kaavlan sakeelea(sakeelan).
Surely We shall soon send down to you a weighty Word. (5)

73/Al-Muzzammil-6: Inna neashiatal layli hiya ashaddu vaat’an va aakvamu keelea(keelan).
Surely the rising by night is (difficult but) stronger in effectiveness and more secure in recitation. (6)

73/Al-Muzzammil-7: Inna laka feen naheari sabhaan taaveelea(taaveelan).
Surely, there is for you by day a prolonged occupation. (7)

73/Al-Muzzammil-8: Vazkurisma raabbika va tabattal ilayhi tabteelea(tabteelan).
And remember (repeat) the Name of your Lord and reach Him by detaching yourself from everything. (8)

73/Al-Muzzammil-9: Raabbul mashrıkı val maagribi lea ileaha illea huva fattahızhu vakeelea(vakeelan).
He (Allah) is the Lord of the East and the West. There is no god but He. So take Him for a Surrogate. (9)

73/Al-Muzzammil-10: Vaasbir aalea mea yakooloona vahcurhum hacran cameelea(cameelan).
And be patient with what they say. And leave them with a kind leaving. (10)

73/Al-Muzzammil-11: Va zarnee val mukazzibeena uleen naa’mati va mahhilhum kaaleelea(kaaleelan).
And leave to Me the owners of blessings who belie, and respite them a little. (11)

73/Al-Muzzammil-12: Inna ladaynea ankealan va caaheemea(caaheeman).
Surely with Us are heavy chains (that go on the ankles) and a blazing Fire. (12)

73/Al-Muzzammil-13: Va taaeaman zea gussaatin va aazeaban aleemea(aleeman).
And a food that chokes, and a painful torment. (13)

73/Al-Muzzammil-14: Yavma tarcuful aardu val cibealu va keanatil cibealu kaseeban maheelea(maheelan).
On that Day the earth and the mountains quake with a violent shake, and the mountains are already crumbled and piled as sand. (14)

73/Al-Muzzammil-15: Innea arsalnea ilaykum rasoolan sheahidan aalaykum kamea arsalnea ilea fir'aavna rasoolea(rasoolan).
Surely We have sent to you a Rasul (Messenger), to be a witness over you, as We sent a Rasul (Messenger) to Pharaoh. (15)

73/Al-Muzzammil-16: Fa aasea fir’aavnur rasoola fa ahaazneahu aahzan vabeelea(vabeelan).
But the Pharaoh rebelled against the Messenger, so We seized him with a severe Seizure. (16)

73/Al-Muzzammil-17: Fa kayfa tattakoona in kafartum yavman yac’aalul vildeana sheebea(sheeban).
How, then will you guard yourselves, if you deny, on the Day which shall make children gray-headed (due to their fear)? (17)

73/Al-Muzzammil-18: As sameau munfaatırun bih(bihee), keana vaa’duhu maf’oolea(maf’oolan).
The sky had been cracked open with it (with the severity of that Day). His (Allah’s) Promise had been brought to fulfillment. (18)

73/Al-Muzzammil-19: Inna heazihee tazkiraah(tazkiratun), fa man sheaattahaaza ilea raabbihee sabeelea(sabeelan).
Surely this is a Reminder (advice). So whoever wishes, takes a Way (that will make his spirit reach) to his Lord. (19)
