An-Najm-24, Quran Recitation by Abu Bakr al Shatri

Or is there for man only whatever he wishes (desires)?

Shall man have whatsoever he wisheth for!

Shall man have whatever he yearns for?

Or will human attain whatever he craves?

Can ever man get what he desires?

What! Will man get whatever he dreams of?

Can a person always have whatever he desires?

Or shall man have whatever he fancies?

Or shall man have whatever whims he wishes?

Or shall man have what he wishes?

They are naught but names which you have named, you and your fathers -- Allah has sent no authority for them. They follow but conjecture and what (their) souls desire. And certainly the guidance has come to them from their Lord.

Or shall man have what he wishes?

Or shall man have what he coveteth?

Can the human being have whatever he wishes?

Is the human to have whatever he fancies?

Or is there for man whatever he wishes?

What! Will man get whatever he dreams of?

Or is the human being to have whatever he desires?

Shall man have whatever he craves?

Nay, shall man have (just) anything he hankers after?
