Surah Yusuf

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

ذَلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ ﴿٥٢﴾
12/Yusuf-52: Zealika li yaa’lama annee lam ahunhu bil gaaybi va annaalleaha lea yahdee kaydal heaineen(heaineena).

Imam Iskender Ali Mihr

(Joseph said to the messenger): “This is that he (my master) might know that I did not betray him in his absence and that Allah does not cause the plot of the betrayers to succeed.”

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

He said: that did in order that he may know that I betrayed him not in secret, and that Allah guideth not the guile of betrayers.

[Joseph said], [‘I initiated] this [inquiry], that he may know that I did not betray him in his absence, and that Allah does not further the schemes of the treacherous.’
