أَفَسِحْرٌ هَذَا أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ ﴿١٥﴾
52/At-Tur-15: A fa sihrun heazea am antum lea tubsiroon(tubsiroona).
Is this a magic? Or is it you that do not see? (15)
اصْلَوْهَا فَاصْبِرُوا أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا سَوَاء عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٦﴾
52/At-Tur-16: Islavhea faasbiroo av lea taasbiroo saveaun aalaykum, innamea tuczavna mea kuntum taa’maloon(taa’maloona).
Prop yourselves against it (Fire). Now whether you are patient or impatient, it is all the same for you. You only get punished for what you used to do. (16)
إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَعِيمٍ ﴿١٧﴾
52/At-Tur-17: Innal muttakeena fee canneatin va naaeemin.
Surely the owners of piety (Takwâ) are in heavens and blessings. (17)
فَاكِهِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ ﴿١٨﴾
52/At-Tur-18: Feakiheena bi mea eateahum raabbuhum, va vakeahum raabbuhum aazeabal caaheem(caaheemi).
Joyous with what their Lord has given them and their Lord saved them from the Torment of the blazing Fire (hell). (18)
كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا هَنِيئًا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿١٩﴾
52/At-Tur-19: Kuloo vashraboo haneean bi mea kuntum taa’maloona.
Eat and drink pleasantly because of what you used to do. (19)
مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَى سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوفَةٍ وَزَوَّجْنَاهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ ﴿٢٠﴾
52/At-Tur-20: Muttakieena aalea sururin maasfoofah(maasfoofatin), va zavvacneahum bi hoorin eenin.
(The owners of piety are) the ones reclined on thrones lined up and We married them to Hûrin (ladies of heaven) with beautiful eyes. (20)
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَانٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَا أَلَتْنَاهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَيْءٍ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ ﴿٢١﴾
52/At-Tur-21: Vallazeena eamanoo vattabaaathum zurriyyatuhum bi eemeanin alhaaknea bihim zurriyyatahum va mea alatneahum min aamalihim min shay’in, kullumriin bi mea kasaba raheenun.
And those who believed (by wishing to reach Allah while they are alive, before death) and whose offspring depended on them in Faith; We joined their offspring to them. And We did not decrease any of their deeds. Every person is a pledge for what he has earned (in degrees). (21)
وَأَمْدَدْنَاهُم بِفَاكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾
52/At-Tur-22: Va amdadneahum bi feakihatin va laahmin mimmea yashtahoon(yashtahoona).
And We gave them (with) fruit and meat they desired. (22)
يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ ﴿٢٣﴾
52/At-Tur-23: Yataneazaoona feehea ka’san lea laagvun feehea va lea ta’seemun.
They raise a cup therein where they do not say anything in vain nor commit any sin (due to wine they consume). (23)
وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَّكْنُونٌ ﴿٢٤﴾
52/At-Tur-24: Va yatoofu aalayhim gılmeanun lahum ka annahum loo’luun maknoonun.
And around them (young boys) serving. They are like hidden pearl in its nacre. (24)
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَسَاءلُونَ ﴿٢٥﴾
قَالُوا إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِي أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ ﴿٢٦﴾
52/At-Tur-26: Kealoo innea kunnea kaablu fee ahlinea mushfikeen(mushfikeena).
They said: “Surely we feared before along with our family”. (26)
فَمَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ السَّمُومِ ﴿٢٧﴾
52/At-Tur-27: Fa mannaalleahu aalaynea va vakeanea aazeabas samoom(samoomi).
Now, Allah Blessed us and saved us from the torment of the scorching heat (of Hell). (27)
إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْبَرُّ الرَّحِيمُ ﴿٢٨﴾
52/At-Tur-28: Innea kunnea min kaablu nad’ooh(nad’oohu), innahu huval barrur raaheem(raaheemu).
Surely we were calling upon Him (Allah) before. Surely He is Berr (The Most Courteous, the Most Generous), the Most Merciful (the One Who manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful). (28)
فَذَكِّرْ فَمَا أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ ﴿٢٩﴾
52/At-Tur-29: Fa zakkir fa mea anta bi ni’mati raabbika bi keahinin va lea macnoon(macnoonin).
Therefore remind (give advice), because by the Blessing of your Lord, you are neither an oracle nor a madman. (29)
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِ رَيْبَ الْمَنُونِ ﴿٣٠﴾
52/At-Tur-30: Am yakooloona sheairun nataraabbasu bihee raybal manooni.
Or do they say: “He is a poet; we wait for him the sudden coming of the calamity of the time”. (30)
قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا فَإِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ الْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ ﴿٣١﴾
52/At-Tur-31: Kul taraabbasoo fa innee maaakum minal mutaraabbiseen(mutaraabbiseena).
Say: “Watch, I am too with you of those who watch”. (31)
