Al-Anbiya-111, Surah The Prophets Verse-111

If I know (I do not know), it (that postponement) may be a trial for you and a provision till a time.

And know not; haply it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a season.

I do not know—maybe it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a while.’

"I do not know but the respite given to you may be a trial for you (– a respite so that you may fully display your deserving His punishment), and enjoyment for a while."

I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while."

“And what do I know – it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a time.”

`And I do not know whether it (- the respite referred to above) is meant to put you on trial or it may be affording you a (worldly) provision for a short while.´

"Verily, He knows what is spoken openly, and that which you hide.

And I know not, perhaps it may be a trial for you, and an enjoyment for a while.

Surely He knows what is spoken openly and He knows what you hide.

I do not know (why God has commanded me to warn you of the torment). Perhaps it is a trial for you and a respite for an appointed time".

Nor do I know whether it may mean a trial for you and a short reprieve."
