Know that Allah is Severe in punishment and that Allah is Oft-Forgiving (the One who converts evil deeds into merits), Most Merciful (the One who sends the light of mercy and has mercy on the believers).

Know that Allah is severe in chastising and that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Know that Allah is severe in retribution, and that Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

Know (also) that God is severe in punishment, and that God is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate.

Know that the punishment of God is severe, but that God is also forgiving and kind.

Know well that Allah’s punishment is severe, and that Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful.

You should know that Allâh is Severe at retribution and that (at the same time) Allâh is Great Protector, Ever Merciful.

Know God is terrible in retribution, and God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.

The Messenger has only the duty to proclaim the message, but Allah knows what you show and what you hide.
