Surah At-Tawbah

قَاتِلُواْ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللّهِ وَلاَ بِالْيَوْمِ الآخِرِ وَلاَ يُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ اللّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَلاَ يَدِينُونَ دِينَ الْحَقِّ مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ الْكِتَابَ حَتَّى يُعْطُواْ الْجِزْيَةَ عَن يَدٍ وَهُمْ صَاغِرُونَ ﴿٢٩﴾
9/At-Tawbah-29: Keatiloollazeena lea yu’minoona billeahi va lea bil yavmil eahıri va lea yuhaarrimoona mea haarraamaalleahu va rasooluhu va lea yadeenoona deenal haakkı minallazeena ootool kiteaba haattea yu’tool cizyata aan yadin va hum seagiroon(seagiroona).

Imam Iskender Ali Mihr

Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day (in reaching Allah before death) and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture until they give the Jizyah (tax) willingly while they are humbled.
