Al-Ma'idah-102, Surah The Table Spread with Food Verse-102

A people before you indeed have asked that question. And then became disbelievers with it.

Surely people have asked questions before you, and were then found disbelievers therein.

Certainly some people asked about them before you and then came to disbelieve in them.

Indeed a people before you used to ask such questions (and demanded from their Prophet such things as particular miracles), and thereafter they fell into unbelief (through not carrying out the commandments given in answer to their questions or through willfully disbelieving in their Prophet despite the miracles worked).

Such things were asked by a people before you, but they disbelieved them afterwards.

A nation before you asked about such matters and then disbelieved in them.

A people before you asked questions about such (details and) then they became disbelievers therein.

A people before you questioned concerning them, then disbelieved in them.

And Allah has not instituted (superstitions like those of) Bahirah or Saibah, nor Wazilah nor Hami, (classes of cattle revered and liberated in honour of idols) but those who disbelieve invent a lie against Allah, for most of them have no sense.

Before you, a community asked such questions, then on that account they became disbelievers.

O you who believe, as not about things which if made known to you would give you trouble; and if you ask about them when the Qur’an is being revealed, they will be made known to you. Allah pardons this; and Allah is Forgiving, Forbearing.

A people before you indeed asked such questions, and then became disbelievers on account of them.

A folk before you asked (for such disclosures) and then disbelieved therein.

People living before you had asked about such things, but then rejected them.

A nation asked about them before you, and with it they became unbelievers.

A people asked such [questions] before you; then they became thereby disbelievers.

A nation before you asked about such matters and then disbelieved in them.

A people before you asked about them, but then came to reject them.

Other people before you enquired about such things, but when they were disclosed to them, they refused to carry them out.

Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account lost their faith.
