Surah Ya Sin

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ ﴿٦٧﴾
36/Ya Sin-67: Va lav nasheau la masaahneahum aalea makeanatihim fa meastateaoo mudiyyan va lea yarcioon(yarcioona).

Imam Iskender Ali Mihr

And had We willed, We would surely have changed them in their places, then they would have been unable to go forward and backward.

And if We listed, surely We should transform them in their places, so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return

And had We wished We would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return.
