Surah Al-Buruj

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

85/Al-Buruj-1: Vas sameai zeatil burooc(burooci).
By the sky holding the Constellations. (1)
85/Al-Buruj-3: Va sheahidin va mashhood(mashhoodin).
And by the witness and the witnessed (by the seer and the seen). (3)
85/Al-Buruj-4: Kutila aasheabul uhdood(uhdoodi).
The people of the Trench were destroyed. (4)
85/Al-Buruj-5: Anneari zeatil vakood(vakoodi).
(The companions) of the fire with fuel (in it). (5)
85/Al-Buruj-6: Izhum aalayhea kuood(kuoodun).
That they had sat around it (the fire). (6)
85/Al-Buruj-7: Va hum aalea mea yaf’aaloona bil mu’mineena shuhood(shuhoodun).
And they were watching what they were doing against the believers. (7)
85/Al-Buruj-8: Va mea nakaamoo minhum illea an yu’minoo billeahil aazeezil haameed(haameedi).
And they did not take vengeance on them for anything except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy. (8)
85/Al-Buruj-9: Allazee lahu mulkus sameaveati val aard(aardı), vaalleahu aalea kulli shay’in shaheed(shaheedun).
That He (Allah) is the Owner of the Dominion of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. (9)
85/Al-Buruj-10: Innallazeena fatanul mu’mineena val mu’mineati summa lam yatooboo fa lahum aazeabu cahannama va lahum aazeabul haareek(haareekı).
Surely they had tortured the believing men and the believing women, then had not repented. Then for them there is the torment of Hell and burning torment. (10)
85/Al-Buruj-11: Innallazeena eamanoo va aamilus sealiheati lahum canneatun tacree min taahtihal anhear(anhearu), zealikal favzul kabeer(kabeeru).
Surely those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive) and do improving deeds (that cleanse the souls’ hearts), for them there are heavens under which the rivers flow and that is the Greatest Achievement (the Greatest Salvation and honorable offering). (11)
85/Al-Buruj-12: Inna baatsha raabbika la shadeed(shadeedun).
Surely the Seizure of your Lord is indeed severe. (12)
85/Al-Buruj-13: Innahu huva yubdiu va yueed(yueedu).
Surely He originates (from nothing) first. And then makes it return (back). (13)
85/Al-Buruj-14: Va huval gaafoorul vadood(vadoodu).
And He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Loving. (14)
85/Al-Buruj-15: Zul aarshil maceed(maceedu).
(He is) the Owner of the Arsh (beyond existence), the most Glorious (the most Honorable). (15)
85/Al-Buruj-17: Hal ateaka haadeesul cunood(cunoodi).
Has the story of the armies come to you? (17)
85/Al-Buruj-18: Fir’aavna va samood(samooda).
(The armies of the people of) Pharaoh and Thamûd. (18)
85/Al-Buruj-20: Vaalleahu min vareaihim muheet(muheetun).
And Allah encompasses them from behind. (20)
85/Al-Buruj-21: Bal huva kur’eanun maceed(maceedun).
Nay! That Qur’ân is Glorious. (21)
85/Al-Buruj-22: Fee lavhın maahfooz(maahfoozın).
(It is) in Levhi Mahfuz (recorded in the Central Computerized System). (22)
