سورة الحج
Surah Al-Hajj
Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem
يَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَضُرُّهُ وَمَا لَا يَنفَعُهُ ذَلِكَ هُوَ الضَّلَالُ الْبَعِيدُ
﴿١٢﴾
22/Al-Hajj-12:
Yad’oo min doonilleahi mea lea yadurruhoo va mea lea yanfauh(yanfauhu), zealika huvad daalealul baaeed(baaeedu).
Imam Iskender Ali Mihr
They call besides Allah which neither harm nor profit them. This is a manifest Misguidance.
Abdul Majid Daryabadi
He calleth upon that, beside Allah, which can neither hurt him nor profit him! that! it is a straying far-off.

He invokes besides Allah that which can bring him neither benefit nor harm. That is extreme error.
