سورة المؤمنون

Surah Al-Mu'minun

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ ﴿٧٦﴾
23/Al-Mu'minun-76: Va lakaad ahaazneahum bil aazeabi fa mastakeanoo li raabbihim va mea yatadaarraoon(yatadaarraoona).

Imam Iskender Ali Mihr

And verily We seized them with the torment, but they were not submissive to their Lord and they did not pray earnestly.

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat.
