When you (Muhammad) are amongst them, and stand up to pray with them, then let a party of them stand up with you, and let them take their arms; and when they have finished their prostration (adoration, prayers), let them go to the rear, and let another party who have not yet prayed, come forward and pray with you; and let them take their precautions and their arms. The unbelievers wish that you were careless of your arms and your baggage, that they might turn upon you with a single rush. And it is no crime for you that you lay down your arms if you be annoyed with rain or be sick; but take your precautions. Verily, Allah has prepared for the unbelievers a humiliating punishment.
