وَأَنْ لَّا تَعْلُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنِّي آتِيكُم بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ ﴿١٩﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-19: Va an lea taa’loo aalealleah(aalealleahi), inneeeateekum bi sulteanin mubeen(mubeenin).
And do not exalt yourselves against Allah! Because, I come to you with a clear Sultan (authority). (19)
وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَن تَرْجُمُونِ ﴿٢٠﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-20: Va innee uztu bi raabbee va raabbikuman tarcumooni.
And surely I took refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me. (20)
وَإِنْ لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا لِي فَاعْتَزِلُونِ ﴿٢١﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-21: Va in lam too’minoo lee faa’tazilooni.
And if you do not believe in me, then keep away from me. (21)
فَدَعَا رَبَّهُ أَنَّ هَؤُلَاء قَوْمٌ مُّجْرِمُونَ ﴿٢٢﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-22: Fa daea raabbahoo anna heauleai kaavmun mucrimoon(mucrimoona).
Then he called upon his Lord, saying: “These are a sinning people”. (22)
فَأَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيْلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ ﴿٢٣﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-23: Fa asri bi ibeadee laylan innakum muttabaoon(muttabaoona).
Leave immediately (along) with My servants to walk in the night! Surely you will be pursued. (23)
وَاتْرُكْ الْبَحْرَ رَهْوًا إِنَّهُمْ جُندٌ مُّغْرَقُونَ ﴿٢٤﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-24: Vatrukil baahra rahvea(rahvan), innahum cundun mugrakoon(mugrakoona).
And leave the sea open! Surely they are an army that shall be drowned. (24)
كَمْ تَرَكُوا مِن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ ﴿٢٥﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-25: Kam tarakoo min canneatin va uyoon(uyoonin).
Many of the gardens and water springs they have left! (25)
وَزُرُوعٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ ﴿٢٦﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-26: Va zurooin va maakeamin kareem(kareemin).
And crop fields and goodly places (mansions)! (26)
وَنَعْمَةٍ كَانُوا فِيهَا فَاكِهِينَ ﴿٢٧﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-27: Va naa’matin keanoo feehea feakiheen(feakiheena).
And (they left the) blessings wherein they used to take delight! (27)
كَذَلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ ﴿٢٨﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-28: Kazealik(kazealika), va avrasneahea kaavman eahaareen(eahaareena).
Just like that. And We made the later people inherit them. (28)
فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاء وَالْأَرْضُ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنظَرِينَ ﴿٢٩﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-29: Fa mea bakat aalayhimus sameau val aardu va mea keanoo munzaareen(munzaareena).
The heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they extended. (29)
وَلَقَدْ نَجَّيْنَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْمُهِينِ ﴿٣٠﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-30: Va lakaad naccaynea banee isreaeela minal aazeabil muheen(muheeni).
And verily We delivered the Children of Israel from the abasing torment (of Pharaoh). (30)
مِن فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ عَالِيًا مِّنَ الْمُسْرِفِينَ ﴿٣١﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-31: Min fir’aavn(fir’aavna), innahu keana ealiyan minal musrifeen(musrifeena).
A Pharaoh that he surely was haughty and one of the extravagant. (31)
وَلَقَدِ اخْتَرْنَاهُمْ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ ﴿٣٢﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-32: Va lakaadihtarneahum aalea ilmin aalal ealameen(ealameena).
And certainly We chose them (Children of Israel), upon a knowledge, above the Worlds. (32)
وَآتَيْنَاهُم مِّنَ الْآيَاتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَاء مُّبِينٌ ﴿٣٣﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-33: Va eatayneahum minal eayeati mea feehi baleaun mubeen(mubeenun).
And We gave them of the Verses (miracles) wherein was a clear trial. (33)
إِنَّ هَؤُلَاء لَيَقُولُونَ ﴿٣٤﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-34: Inna heauleai la yakooloon(yakooloona).
Most surely they certainly will say. (34)
إِنْ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوْتَتُنَا الْأُولَى وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ ﴿٣٥﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-35: In hiya illea mavtatunal ooleava mea naahnu bi munshareen(munshareena).
(Our death is) only our first death and we shall not be raised again. (35)
فَأْتُوا بِآبَائِنَا إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ ﴿٣٦﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-36: Fa’too bi eabeainea in kuntum seadikeen(seadikeena).
So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful. (36)
أَهُمْ خَيْرٌ أَمْ قَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مُجْرِمِينَ ﴿٣٧﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-37: A hum haayrun am kaavmu tubbain vallazeena min kaablihim, ahlakneahum innahum keanoo mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, because they were sinners. (37)
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَاعِبِينَ ﴿٣٨﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-38: Va mea haalaaknas sameaveati val aardaa va mea baynahumea leaibeen(leaibeena).
And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them, for mere play. (38)
مَا خَلَقْنَاهُمَا إِلَّا بِالْحَقِّ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٣٩﴾
44/Ad-Dukhan-39: Mea haalaakneahumea illea bil haakkı va leakinna aksarahum lea yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
We did not create them both except with the truth (We created them with Truth), and but most of them do not know. (39)
