Al-Mu'minun-61, Surah The Believers Verse-61

Those race in good things and they are foremost in them (in goodness).

These are hastening on to good, and they are therein foremost.

—it is they who are zealous in [performing] good works and take the lead in them.

It is those (illustrious ones) who hasten to do all kinds of virtuous deeds, and they are in a virtuous competition with one another in doing them.

Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others.

These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first.

It is they who are quick and eager to do good works to outdo others and it is they who are (the) foremost for these (virtues, and shall win the race).

those vie in good works, outracing to them.

And those who give what they give with heart afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord,

It is these who race for the good deeds, and they are foremost in them [e.g. offering the compulsory Salat (prayers) in their (early) stated, fixed times and so on].

And those who give what they give while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord thy must return --

These hasten to good things and they are foremost in (attaining) them.

These race for the good things, and they shall win them in the race.

to God, these are the ones who really compete with each other in virtuous deeds and are the foremost ones in the task.

those, hasten in good works, outracing to them.

It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein.

These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first.

It is they who race towards goodness. It is they who will reach it first.

it is they who vie with one another in doing good works and shall be the foremost in doing so.

It is these who hasten in every good work, and these who are foremost in them.
