Surah An-Nisa

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

وَإِنْ أَرَدتُّمُ اسْتِبْدَالَ زَوْجٍ مَّكَانَ زَوْجٍ وَآتَيْتُمْ إِحْدَاهُنَّ قِنطَارًا فَلاَ تَأْخُذُواْ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا أَتَأْخُذُونَهُ بُهْتَاناً وَإِثْماً مُّبِيناً ﴿٢٠﴾
4/An-Nisa-20: Va in araadtumustibdeala zavcin makeana zavcin, va eataytum ihdeahunna kıntearan fa lea ta’huzoo minhu shay’ea(shay’an). A ta’huzoonahu buhteanan va isman mubeenea(mubeenan).

And if you wish to replace a wife by another and you have given one of them a heap of gold (as Mahr) then do not take from it anything; would you take it (what you promised) by slandering and manifest sin?

And if ye intend to replace a wife by anot her, and ye have given the one of them a talent, take not back aught therefrom. Would ye take it back by slander and manifest sin.
