Surah Sad

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ الْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّي حَتَّى تَوَارَتْ بِالْحِجَابِ ﴿٣٢﴾
38/Sad-32: Fa keala innee aahbabtu hubbal haayri aan zikri raabbee, haattea tavearat bil hıceab(hıceabi).

Imam Iskender Ali Mihr

Then he said: “Surely I love (them) with the love of goodness (with the love of those who have attained to continuous remembrance) because I remember (repeat the Name of) my Lord”. (When the horses) disappeared (running swiftly and raising clouds of dust) behind the curtain.

Abdul Majid Daryabadi

He said: verily I have loved the love of earthly good above the remembrance of my Lord until the sun hath disappeared behind the veil.

Ali Quli Qarai

he said, ‘Indeed I have preferred the love of [worldly] niceties to the remembrance of my Lord until [the sun] disappeared behind the [night’s] veil.’

(Having watched them for some time,) he said: "Indeed my love for these horses is (not on their own behalf, but) because they serve for the remembrance of my Lord (and conveying His Name to other lands)." And the horses were hidden by the veil of distance.
