Surah Al-Baqarah
Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem
أُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرُوُاْ الضَّلاَلَةَ بِالْهُدَى فَمَا رَبِحَت تِّجَارَتُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُهْتَدِينَ
﴿١٦﴾
2/Al-Baqarah-16:
Uleaikallazeenashtaravood daalealata bil hudea, fa mea raabihaat ticearatuhum va mea keanoo muhtadeen(muhtadeena).
Imam Iskender Ali Mihr
These are they who have purchased Misguidance for Guidance, so their commerce did not bring any gain and they had not attained Guidance.
Abdul Majid Daryabadi
These are they who purchased error for guidance, but their traffic profited not, nor have they ever become guided.
Ali Quli Qarai
They are the ones who bought error for guidance, so their trade did not profit them, nor were they guided.
