Or were they created without there being anything (without any Creator)? Or are they themselves the creators?

Have they not been created by aught, or are they the creators?

Were they created from nothing? Or are they [their own] creators?

Or were they created without anything being before them (or out of something different than the basic material of all creation, so that they know things others do not), or are they the creators (of themselves, so that they can maintain themselves and are free in their acts)?

Or were they created of themselves? Or are they the creators?

Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators?

Have they been created without a (creative) agency (or purpose)? Or are they their own creators?

Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators?

Or were they created out of nothing, or are they themselves the creators?

Were they created by nothing, or were they themselves the creators?

Then let them bring a saying like it, if they are truthful.
