Qaf 1-45, Surah Letter Qaf (50/Qaf)

50/Qaf-1: Keaf val kur’eanil maceed(maceedi).
Qâf. By the Honorable Qur’ân. (1)

50/Qaf-2: Bal aaciboo an ceaahum munzirun minhum fa kealal keafiroona heazea shay’un aaceebun.
Nay, they are surprised that a Warner of their own has come to them. Upon that the disbelievers said: “This is a strange thing”. (2)

50/Qaf-3: A izea mitnea va kunnea tureabea(tureaban), zealika rac’un baaeedun.
“When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)”? That is a far (impossible) return. (3)

50/Qaf-4: Kaad aalimnea mea tankusul aardu minhum, va indanea kiteabun haafeezun.
We did know indeed what the earth (dirt) detract from them, and in Our Presence is a Book (that is placed in the ‘Illiyyîn and Siccîn’ which has all the events of all times) that preserves. (4)

50/Qaf-5: Bal kazzaboo bil haakkı lammea ceaahum fa hum fee amrin mareecin.
Nay (that’s not the case), they have belied the truth when it has come to them. In this case, they are in a complex command (problem). (5)

50/Qaf-6: A fa lam yaanzuroo ilas sameai favkaahum kayfa banayneahea va zayyanneahea va mea lahea min furoocin.
Do they not look up to the sky above them, how We have built it up and adorned it? And there are no rifts in it. (6)

50/Qaf-7: Val aardaa madadneahea va alkaaynea feehea raveasiya va anbatnea feehea min kulli zavcin baheecin.
And the earth; We have filled it, spread it and cast (placed) in it firm mountains. And We have made to grow in there of all kinds of lovely pairs of plants. (7)

50/Qaf-8: Tabsıraatan va zikrea li kulli aabdin muneebin.
To be an insight (the eye of their heart to be opened) and a remembrance for every servant who turns (who wishes to reach Allah while he is alive). [So that this may be an insight for all the servants who turn (to Allah), and that they may (much) remember (that they may reach continuous remembrance/Dhikr)]. (8)

50/Qaf-9: Va nazzalnea minas sameai meaan mubearakan fa anbatnea bihee canneatin va haabbal haaseedi.
And We send down from the sky blessed (abundance) water (rain). So We caused to grow with it gardens and the grains that are reaped. (9)

50/Qaf-10: Van naahla beasikeatin lahea taal’un naadeedun.
And long date-palms with sprouts that are ranged in clusters. (10)

50/Qaf-11: Rızkaan lil ibeadi va aahyaynea bihee baldatan maytea(maytan), kazealikal huroocu.
To be a sustenance for the servants. And We gave life with it to a dead land. The (resurrection) coming out (of the earth after death) is just like that. (11)

50/Qaf-12: Kazzabat kaablahum kaavmu noohın va aasheabur rassi va samoodu.
Before them, the people of Noah, and the people of Ar-Rass and Thamûd also belied (their Messengers). (12)

50/Qaf-13: Va eadun va fir’aavnu va ihveanu lootın.
And (people of) Âd and Pharaoh and the brethren of Lot. (13)

50/Qaf-14: Va aasheabul aykati va kaavmu tubbaain, kullun kazzabar rusula fa haakkaa vaaeedi.
And the people of Eykeh and the people of Tubba, they all belied the Messengers. Hence My promise (punishment) was justified (the Promise of Allah was fulfilled). (14)

50/Qaf-15: A fa aayeenea bil haalkıl avval(avvali), bal hum fee labsin min haalkın cadeed(cadeedin).
Or were We incapable by the first creation? Nay (that’s not the case), they are in doubt about a resurrection (after death). (15)

50/Qaf-16: Va lakaad haalaaknal inseana va naa’lamu mea tuvasvisu bihee nafsuh(nafsuhu), va naahnu aakrabu ilayhi min haablil vareedi.
And certainly We created the man and We know what his soul whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. (16)

50/Qaf-17: Iz yatalaakkeal mutalaakkeeyeani aanil yameeni va aanish shimeali kaaeedun.
Then the two receivers (recording angels) sitting on the right and on the left receive (record the deeds). (17)

50/Qaf-18: Mea yalfızu min kaavlin illea ladayhi raakeebun aateedun.
Not a word can be uttered without a watcher by him ready (to record it). (18)

50/Qaf-19: Va ceaat sakratul mavti bil haakk(haakkı), zealika mea kunta minhu taheedu.
And the intoxication of the death came with righteousness. This is what you escape from. (19)

50/Qaf-20: Va nufihaa fees soor(soori), zealika yavmul vaaeedi.
And the Trumpet is blown. This is the Day of warning. (20)

50/Qaf-21: Va ceaat kullu nafsin maaahea seaikun va shaheedun.
And every soul comes along with a driver (the angel that records the life film) and a witness. (21)

50/Qaf-22: Lakaad kunta fee gaaflatin min heazea fa kashafnea aanka gıteaaka fa basaarukal yavma haadeedun.
(Allah says): “Certainly you were heedless of this, but now We have removed from you your veil. So your sight this Day is sharp”. (22)

50/Qaf-23: Va keala kaareenuhu heazea mea ladayya aateed(aateedun).
And the one (angel) closer to him says: “This (life film) is what is ready with me”. (23)

50/Qaf-24: Alkıyea fee cahannama kulla kaffearin aaneedin.
“Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever”! (24)

50/Qaf-25: Manneaın lil haayri mu’tadin mureebin.
“Hinderer of good, exceeder of limits, doubter”. (25)

50/Qaf-26: Allazee caaala maaalleahi ileahan eahaaraa fa alkıyeahu feel aazeabish shadeedi.
“He took up another god with Allah. So both of you cast him into the severe torment”! (26)

50/Qaf-27: Keala kaareenuhu raabbanea mea atgaaytuhu va leakin keana fee daalealin baaeedin.
His companion says: “Our Lord, I did not lead him into inordinacy, but he himself was in a remote Misguidance”. (27)

50/Qaf-28: Keala lea taahtasımoo ladayya va kaad kaaddamtu ilaykum bil vaaeedi.
(Allah) says: “Do not quarrel in My Presence. I had already notified you My Promise (Punishment).” (28)

50/Qaf-29: Mea yubaddalul kaavlu ladayya va mea ana bi zaalleamin lil aabeed(aabeedi).
“The Word shall not be changed in My Presence and I am not unjust to My servants”. (29)

50/Qaf-30: Yavma nakoolu li cahannama halimtala’ti va takoolu hal min mazeedin.
On that Day We say to hell: “Are you filled up”? And it replies: “Are there any more”? (30)

50/Qaf-31: Va uzlifatil cannatu lil muttakeena gaayraa baaeedin.
And heaven is brought near to the owners of piety, not being distant. (31)

50/Qaf-32: Heazea mea tooaadoona li kulli avveabin haafeez(haafeezin).
This (heaven) is what you were promised, for every Avvâb (the one whose spirit has taken shelter in Allah by reaching Him) and Hafîz (the one who has been guarded by the Spirit of the Imam of the Time who has come over his head). (32)

50/Qaf-33: Man haashiyar raahmeana bil gaaybi va ceaa bi kaalbin muneebin.
For those who are in reverence of the Most-Beneficent in the Unseen (without seeing Him) and come (in the Presence of Allah) with a heart (wishing to reach Allah). (33)

50/Qaf-34: Udhuloohea bi saleam(saleamin), zealika yavmul hulood(huloodi).
Enter it in peace (safety), this is the Day of Eternity. (34)

50/Qaf-35: Lahum mea yasheaoona feehea va ladaynea mazeedun.
There is for them all that they wish in it, and in Our Presence there is even more. (35)

50/Qaf-36: Va kam ahlaknea kaablahum min kaarnin hum ashaddu minhum baatshan fa naakkaaboo feel bilead(bileadi), hal min maaheesin.
And how many a generation We have destroyed before them who were mightier in prowess than they in regards to destruction and violence. Yet, they sought for a place to refuge in the lands (to save themselves from Our destruction). Is there any place of refuge? (36)

50/Qaf-37: Inna fee zealika la zikrea li man keana lahu kaalbun av alkeas sam’aa va huva shaheedun.
Most surely there is a lesson in this for those who have hearts and hear what is told and witness (Allah with the eye of their heart). (37)

50/Qaf-38: Va lakaad haalaaknas sameaveati val aardaa va mea baynahumea fee sittati ayyeamin va mea massanea min lugoob(lugoobin).
And certainly We created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in Six Days and no fatigue touched Us. (38)

50/Qaf-39: Faasbir aalea mea yakooloona va sabbih bi haamdi raabbika kaabla tulooısh shamsi va kaablal guroob(guroobi).
Therefore be patient of what they say, and glorify your Lord with praise (doing Dhikir) before the rising of the sun and before the setting of the sun. (39)

50/Qaf-40: Va minal layli fa sabbihhu va adbearas sucoodi.
And now, in some part of the night glorify Him after the prostrations. (40)

50/Qaf-41: Vastami’ yavma yuneadil muneadi min makeanin kaareeb(kaareebin).
And give ear to the crier on the Day when he shall cry from a near place. (41)

50/Qaf-42: Yavma yasmaoonas saayhaata bil haakk(haakkı), zealika yavmul hurooci.
On that Day, they shall hear the righteous As-Saihah (the Awful Cry). This is the Day of coming forth (from the grave). (42)

50/Qaf-43: Innea naahnu nuhyee va numeetu va ilaynal maaseeru.
Surely, We it is Who give life and cause death, and to Us is the return. (43)

50/Qaf-44: Yavma tashaakkaakul aardu aanhum sireaea(sireaaan), zealika haashrun aalaynea yaseerun.
On that Day the earth shall split and get away from them, (they ascend by coming forth from the earth). This gathering is easy to Us (to gather together all at the Place of Gathering by bringing them out of the earth). (44)

50/Qaf-45: Naahnu aa’lamu bi mea yakooloona va mea anta aalayhim bi cabbearin fa zakkir bil kur’eani man yaheafu vaaeedi.
We know best what they say, and you are not the one to compel them. Therefore warn those by means of the Qur’ân who fears My Promise (My promised punishment). (45)
